        A Study on the Potential of Utilizing Sensible Media for Dance in 5G Network

        A 5G is 20 times faster than 4G. It also has hyper-connectivity, low latency merit and boundless potentials for medical education, transportation, entertainment and so on. In accordance with this, it is time to quickly look over on the utilization plan for 5G and sensible media in dance field, deal with the issue and utilizing. First of all, this study will review potential of 5G and sensible media in dance and its development plan. It seems like dance is able to communicate in a three-dimensional way. Utilizing sensible media can contribute to inform people of dance, and increase fun and interest which will make three-dimensional mutual communication. Also, in 5G environment, one can select whatever one wants in his or her viewpoint when utilizing sensible media such as VR, AR, hologram and so on. Supposing in a case of dancers and judges, it is possible for them to hire their own style of dancers in their countries. Unnecessary economic loss is excluded for the dancer which is mutually positive. Third, streaming is possible without any installation, buffering is reduced. At the same time high-definition of media is allowed. This allowed collaborated performance of celebrities in dance and it also increased concentration and engagement. Dance field should acknowledge 5G sensible media, look for systemic and detailed method and disseminate and spread professional training and performance. In dance, testing fast developing sensible media due to 5G network, produce systemic dance training environment with various try is required and an effort for the performance situations in which advanced 5G sensible media is used.

        Injury Prevention Effects of a Ballet Basics Training Program -Biomechanical Analysis of the Participants’ Experience from the Program-

        Ballet dancers become immersed in repetitive practice for many hours from childhood, and even after becoming professional dancers, they become immersed in countless rehearsals and performances for a long time. In the process, excessive turnouts and prolonged physical activity beyond anatomical limits cause ballet dancers to suffer from frequent injuries or chronic pain (Sojung Jang, 2022). In particular, repeated training of physical and artistic skills required by ballet while maintaining incorrect body alignment may lead to spinal diseases or imbalance in the pelvis. For ballet dancers, balance and stability of posture are essential to hold out, rotate, and leap on one leg while maintaining a good center of gravity. Since ballet requires controlled movements and requires a moment of pause at the same time, excellent posture control is required to perform successful movements. However, ballet requires excessive turn-out or rotation of one axis compared to other genres of dance or physical activity. Variation in classical ballet has many turns and jumps that is supported with one leg and often use the other leg. Therefore, lateral bias, in which only one leg develops excessively, causes tension and stress, which leads to chronic pain or injury (Mertz and Docherty, 2012). This study is conducted to establish a theory and hypothesis that even a basic ballet training program can improve body balance and posture control to prevent injury, and to develop a training program corresponding to it to verify its effect through biomechanical analysis and qualitative investigation. In order to achieve this research purposes, this study consists of the following contents. First, Chapter II establishes a theoretical framework that theoretically proves the effectiveness of the ballet basics program by reviewing previous studies arguing that maintaining body balance is a key causal variable in preventing ballet injuries. Chapter III describes the ballet basics program, so-called PRS program, developed based on three basic ballet movements: Plié, Relevé-demi point, and temps levé Sauté, and how to collect and analyze biomechanical data after training 10 college ballet majors for 8 weeks for experimental purposes. In addition, it explains the method and reason for collecting qualitative data by conducting an interview survey on the subjects. Next, Chapter IV provides statistical analysis of biomechanical data, as well as results and implications with supplemental qualitative analysis results. Finally, in Chapter V, conclusions are discussed.

        Amelobalstic fibroma is a rare true mixed tumor of odontogenic origin with both mesenchymal and ectodermal components. It usually appears in the mandible and in the posterior segments of young patients without gender predilection, and sometimes is associated with an impacted tooth. It is a benign slow growing tumor that is less infiltrative than an ameloblastoma but tends to expand bone. Surgical treatment with excision followed by curettage seems to be the most appropriate therapeutic option. The objective of this presentation is to report a case of ameloblastic fibroma of the mandible body in a 14-year-old woman, to make a brief review of the literature about its differential diagnosis and its clinical and histologic features and the treatment.

      • 아스콘공정에서의 폐열회수에 따른 에너지 절감 및 온실가스 저감량 평가

        아스콘 공정의 골재 처리설비 중 골재 건조 버너 설비 개선을 통한 에너지 및 온실가스 발생 량을 평가하였다. 또한 아스콘 공정 내 골재 처리 과정에서 발생되는 폐열을 이용할 수 있는 드 라이어 및 버너의 효율적인 개선을 통한 Scope 1, 2의 개선 전과 개선 후 변화에 따른 에너지 절감 및 온실가스 저감량도 산정하였다. 온실가스 배출량 평가는 공정 내 LNG 사용으로부터 의 직접배출과 전력사용으로부터의 간접배출량으로 구분된다. 아스콘 공정 설비 교체에 의한 에너지 직접배출량(Scope 1)과 전력소비량 변화에 대한 간접배출량(Scope 2)을 적용하여 에너 지 사용량을 산정한 결과 설비 개선 전 120,895,300MJ/yr 에서 설비 개선 후 98,977,780MJ/ yr 으로 감소하여 총 21,917,520MJ/yr(18.1%)의 에너지 사용 감축 효과가 있는 것으로 평가되 었다. 또한 온실가스 직접배출량(Scope 1)과 전력소비량 변화에 대한 간접배출량(Scope 2)을 적용하여 온실가스 배출량을 산정한 결과 설비 개선 전 6,130.84tCO₂eq./yr 에서 설비 개선 후 5,012.38tCO₂eq./yr 으로 감소하여 총 1,118.46tCO₂eq./yr(18.2%)의 온실가스 감축 효과 가 있는 것으로 평가되었다. Energy and GHG emissions were evaluated through the improvement of the burner facility for drying aggregate among the aggregate processing facilities of the asphalt concrete process. Energy saving and GHG reduction according to changes before and after improvement of Scope 1 and 2 through efficient improvement of dryers and burners that can use waste heat generated during the aggregate treatment process in the asphalt concrete process were also calculated. The evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions following the improvement of asphalt concrete process facilities is divided into direct emissions from LNG use from the asphalt concrete process and indirect emissions from electricity use. Energy consumption were calculated by applying direct energy emissions (Scope 1) from the replacement of asphalt concrete process facilities and indirect emissions (Scope 2) for changes in power consumption. It decreased from 120,895,300MJ/yr 98,977,780MJ/yr when the facility improvement was applied, which meant 18.1% of Energy consumption. In addition, GHG emissions were calculated by applying direct GHG emissions (Scope 1) and indirect emissions (Scope 2) to changes in electricity consumption. It decreased from 6,130.84tCO₂eq./yr before facility improvement to 5,012.38tCO₂eq./yr after facility improvement, which was evaluated to have a total GHG reduction effect of 1,118.46tCO₂eq./yr(18.2%).

        무용작품을 통해 본 인간의 기계화, 기계의 인간화 그리고 공존

        본 논문은 무용작품을 통해 인간의 기계화와 기계의 인간화 그리고 공존된 형태를 살펴보고자 하였다. 무용작 품은 오스카슐레머의 <3화음 발레>와 펠린드롬 댄스컴퍼니의 작품 <Taking bodies>와 <Jenseits der Schatten와 Palindrome의 협업>를 부분 발췌하여 살펴보았다. 또한 공존의 형태가 내재되어 있는 무용작품 <zone>을 살펴보았 다. 위의 작품을 통해 로봇과 같은 과학기술과 융. 복합형태로 공존하는 다양한 무용공연이 인간에게 지속적인 창의 력을 제공하고, 데이터를 토대로 한 다양한 형태의 감성과 독창적인 움직임이 인간에게 풍성한 공연을 제작가능하게 함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구자는 과학기술을 내포한 무용공연이 구체화 된 상호 작용 통해 시대변화를 수용하고 반영 하는 수많은 작품이 나오길 기대한다. This thesis attempted to examine the mechanization of humans, humanization of machines, and coexistence through dance works. The dance works were reviewed by partial excerpts from Oscar Schlemer's <3 Chord Ballet>, Felindrome Dance Company's <Taking bodies>, and <Collaboration of Jenseits der Schatten and Palindrome>. Also, I looked at the dance work <zone>, which has an inherent form of coexistence. Through the above work, robot-like science and technology and fusion. It was found that various dance performances that coexist in complex forms provide continuous creativity to humans, and various forms of sensibility and creative movements based on data make it possible to produce rich performances for humans. This researcher expects numerous works that accept and reflect the changes of the times through the embodied interaction of dance performances with science and technology.

        A Case Study of Pre-service Secondary English Teachers’ Views on Teaching Practicum during the Pandemic

        The purpose of this case study is to investigate pre-service secondary English teachers (PSETs)’ views on teaching practicum during the COVID-19 in Spring; 2020 when online teaching was abruptly and inevitably adopted in the world and Korea. That is, due to such drastic changes, PSETs had to take a practicum in an online and offline format. Accordingly, this study investigated PSETs’ views on the hybrid practicum as existing studies had mostly focused on offline practicum. More specifically, this study examines five PSETs’ views on their practicum based on the semi-structured in-depth interviews. The interview data were transcribed and read numerous times to find recurring or particular views on advantages, disadvantages and usefulness of the hybrid practicum experiences which were identified through in-depth coding and categorization (Corbin & Strauss, 2008). The results of this study showed that the PSETs viewed that online and offline practicum were in complementary relationship. As for the online practicum, they thought that they had more opportunities to closely observe what the in-service teachers and students did and noticed active use of multimedia in online classes despite the lack of interaction with students or among students. However, during offline classes they could observe more active interaction between the teachers and students, but these classes were conducted more in traditional ways with less use of diverse instructional aids including multimedia or other tools. They agreed that the hybrid practicum was a useful experience in learning important teaching skills through real practices and also in deciding their career as teachers in the future. Accordingly, the hybrid practicum is worth continuing even after the pandemic and more in-depth and extensive studies on the implementation and effectiveness of hybrid practicum are required in ELT in Korea.

        발레 무용수들의 자세 균형성과 발레상해 경험에 관한 실증연구

        This study was conducted for the purpose of empirically verifying the hypothesis that posture balance has an important influence as a causal factor for injury experienced by ballet dancers. Survey data on 550 classical ballet dancers working in Korea were collected and analyzed with empirical models such as logit and Tobit regression model, which can control the potetial bias caused by spurious causal relationships or censored sample problem. As a result of the analysis, dancers who think they achieved posture balance were 17.5% less likely to experience serious lower extremity and waist injuries than dancers who did not achieve posture balance, and had 1.37 less body parts or 1.17 body parts in lower extremity and waist areas experiencing injuries. The posture balance of dancers was found to be a critical determinant that may determine the number of injured parts by about 30%. This study is meaningful in that it collected empirical data through a large-scale survey, controlled the influence of other covariates, tried to solve analytical problems caused by sample censoring, and logically justified the need to develop an injury prevention program for dancers. 본 연구는 우리나라의 발레 무용수들이 경험하는 상해의 원인요인으로서 자세 균형성이 중요한 영향력을 미친다는 가설을 실증적으로 검증하려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 우리나라에서 활동하는 550명의 발레 무용수들에 대한 설문조사 자료를 수집하였고, 이를 logit 이나 Tobit 회귀식 모형과 같이 여러 다른 원인요인들의 영향력에 의한 허위적 인과관계나 표본단절에서 발생할 수 있는 편의의 가능성을 통제할 수 있는 실증분석 모형을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 자세 균형성을 달성하였다고 생각하는 무용수들은 그렇지 않은 무용수들과 비교할 때 발레를 일시적으로 중단할 정도로 심각한 하지 및 허리 부위의 상해를 경험할 확률이 17.5%나 낮은 것으로 분석되었으며, 자세 균형성을 달성하지 못한 무용수는 균형을 달성한 무용수들에 비해 1.37개 더 많은 신체 부위에 상해를 경험하며, 1.17개 더 많은 하지 및 허리 영역의 신체부위에 상해를 경험하는 것으로 분석되었다. 무용수들의 자세 균형성은 부상부위의 개수를 약 30%나 감소시킬 수 있는 매우 중대한 영향요인인 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구는 우리나라에서 활동하는 발레 무용수들에 대한 대규모 설문조사를 통해 실증자료를 수집하였다는 점, 다른 영향요인들의 영향력을 통제하고 표본단절에서 비롯되는 분석상의 문제점을 해결하려고 노력하였다는 점, 자세 균형성에 초점을 두어 무용수들을 훈련시키는 상해 예방 프로그램의 개발이 필요함을 논리적으로 정당화시킨다는 점에서 의미를 찾을 수 있다.
