Limit states of a tension member are the yielding of gross section, fracture of net section, and block shear failure. Block shear failure is very complicated than other limit state because of interaction of tension and shear failure. Block shear failure is studied continuously since the 1970s. However, failure model to estimate the strength of block shear failure provided in current design specifications is not reflective of the failure mode observed in the various experimental studies. Comparisons between the experimental results and design rules in various specifications about the block shear failure were conducted in this study. Also, the need for further studies of block shear failure were proposed.

The track is an important component of rail structures. The characteristic of the track settlement must be confirmed in order to evaluate the stability of the track. It is effected by action load and the characteristic of the track material. This study investigates the mechanism of the track settlement and the effect of initial settlement and long-term settlement on the characteristic of the track settlement through literature survey. It tries to observe the future research direction of track settlement.

This paper describes for development of electronic impact hammer of the non - destructive for compressive strength measurement of concrete. There is test method for rebound number, it is used most plentifully in safety inspection of the infrastructure. This electronic impact hammer, it solved the problem of schumidt hammer. It acquires the reliability which is excellent existing schumidt hammer compared to. The electronic impact hammer measurement data is acquired from the detection coil the velocity which and a degree of acceleration response waveform, it will be able to measure the compressive strength of the concrete. In this paper described, it is development for accurate measure of the compressive strength of the concrete which it is electronic impact hammer.

지진특성을 고려한 장경간 현수교량의 시공방안별 내진성능 평가에 관한 연구

시공단계별 수치해석 및 안전성 평가는 장경간 교량의 시공 중 불안전성을 해결하기 위한 주요 검토사항으로 고려되어야 한다. 장경간 교량의 시공단계해석에 따른 구조응답특성 평가 시, 근거리지진(NFGM)의 영향은 기존 입력지진동 데이터와는 확연히 다른 특성을 가지고 있기 때문에 내진설계를 위한 주요 변수로 평가되어야 한다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 응답스펙트럼 해석결괴를 바탕으로 NFGM 특성에 따른 장경간 교량의 응답양상을 재검토하였으며, 장경간 교량의 시공단계해석 및 신뢰성평가를 효율적으로 수행하기 위해 관련연구에서 제시된 수치해석 프로그램을 개선하였다. NFGM 특성을 고려한 다양한 시공방안의 우수성은 주요 부재의 시간이력해석 결과를 이용하여 평가하였다. 정량적인 안전수준 평가를 위해 확률변수에 포함된 External Uncertainty의 영향을 고려하여 신뢰성해석을 수행하였으며, NFGM 특성에 따른 주요 시공단계의 안전지수 및 파괴확률을 제시하였다. 아울러, 몬테카르로 시뮬레이션(MCS)을 이용하여 신뢰성해석 결과에 대해 Internal Uncertainty의 영향을 검토하였으며, 주요 해석결과의 분포양상을 평가하였다. 이 연구는 NFGM 특성을 고려한 장경간 교량의 내진설계 시, 시공안전성 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공할 것으로 기대된다. The numerical analysis and safety assessment by construction stages were considered the essential examination particular in order to solving the unstability of long-span bridges in the middle a construction. When estimating structural response characteristics by the construction stage analysis of long-span bridges, the influence of the near-field ground motion (NFGM) would be evaluated as a critical factor for the seismic design because it indicates clearly different aspects from the existing input earthquake motion data. Therefore, this study re-examined the response aspect of long-span bridges considering NFGM characteristics based on the response spectrum result, and advanced the presented numerical analysis program by the related research for conducting the construction stage analysis and reliability assessment of long-span bridges efficiently. The excellency of various construction schemes was assessed using the time history analysis result of critical member considering NFGM characteristics. For evaluating quantitative safety level, the reliability analysis was conducted considering the influence of external uncertainties included in random variables, and presented the safety index and failure probability of the critical construction stage by NFGM characteristics. In addition, the reliability result was examined the influence of internal uncertainties using monte carlo simulation (MCS), and assessed the distribution aspect of the essential analysis result. It is expected that this study will provide the basic information for the construction safety improvement when performing seismic design of long-span bridges considering NFGM characteristics.
현수 시스템의 케이블 장력 측정을 위한 표준 실험 장치의 개발

현수시스템에서 케이블의 장력은 구조물의 신뢰성을 확인할 수 있는 매우 중요한 요인이다. 본 논문에서는 현수시스템에서 케이블의 정확한 장력 값을 측정하여 그 값의 신뢰성을 확인하고 실제 현수 시스템에 적용할 수 있도록 하기 위해 케이블의 장력을 측정 할 수 있는 표준 실험 장치 개발에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 표준 실험 장치를 직접 설계 제작하였으며 시험편을 제작 실험을 수행하였다. 실험을 통해 케이블의 장력 값을 측정할 수 있으며 실제 현수시스템에서 케이블 장력측정에 적용 할 수 있는 표준 실험 장치를 개발하고자 하였다. This paper describes a new tension measurement system of suspension cable. The suspension cables play an important role in long-span cable-supported bridges, of which the reliability assessment has today been a major topic all around the world. Tension data of a suspension cable in mechanical design and selection of a cable in the construction of a structure helps an engineer and researcher. However, it is difficult to supply the repeatability and the reliability of measurement result in previous technique-vibration acceleration measurement system, load cell technique. In this paper, the tension measurement system of suspension cable and the specimen design for accurate measurement are proposed and the measurement results are described.
