The Purpose of this study is to identify the effect of empowerment on the job satisfaction and turnover-intent of deluex hotel employees in seoul. The model was tested using SPSS 16.0 and Amos 8.0 based on a sample of 400. There are four-dimensional factor structure(meaningfulness, competence, self-choice, Influence) for empowermen and three-dimensional factor structure(work itself, coworkers relations, senior jobs) in hotel. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the hypothesized relationship in the model were tested simultaneously by using structural equation model(SEM). The proposde model provided an adequate fit to the data, X2=872.763 (df=425, p=.045), GFI=0.989, AGFI=0.923, RMR= 0.017, NFI=0.931, CFI=0.990, RMSEA= 0.050. Second, most of four dimension of empowerment have a significant effect on the three factors of job satisfaction except meaningfulness to coworkers(Job satisfaction), competence to coworkers relations, senior jobs(Job satisfaction) and Influence to senior jobs(Job satisfaction). Third, all factors of Job satisfaction has a significant effect on the turnover-intent
공공봉사동기가 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 그리고 거래적·변혁적 리더십의 조절효과

그동안 공공봉사동기에 관한 경험적 연구가 활발히 전개되었으나 공공봉사동기와 조직효과성 간 관계가 조직적 맥락에서 달라지는지를 검증한 연구는 아직 미흡하다. 본 연구는 한국행정연구원이 중앙 및 지방공무원을 대상으로 수집한 2016년 「공직생활에 대한 인식조사」 설문자료를 사용하여 공공봉사동기가 혁신행동에 미치는 영향과, 상황적 요인으로 거래적・변혁적 리더십의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과 공공봉사동기는 혁신행동에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 더해 거래적 리더십 수준이 커질수록 공공봉사 동기와 혁신행동 간 긍정적 관계가 약화하는 반면, 변혁적 리더십 수준이 커질수록 공공봉사동기와 혁신행동간 긍정적 관계는 강화되는 조절효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 공공조직에서 공공봉사동기와 리더십 스타일 간 적합성에 대한 이론적 이해를 도모하며, 리더십을 통해 공공봉사동기의 영향력을 증진할 수 있는 정책적 함의를 제시한다. A growing body of literature has shown that public service motivation is a powerful factor of organizational effectiveness in the public sector. Yet, little attention has been paid to organizational contexts in which public service motivation can encourage public employees to generate new ideas and efficient ways to achieve work goals. Thus, using the survey data drawn from Korean central and local agencies, this study explores the impact of public service motivation on innovative behavior as well as the moderating role of transactional and transformational leadership on the relationship between the two. The statistical results indicate that public service motivation is positively related to innovative behavior. Further analysis shows that transactional leadership attenuates the positive relationship between public service motivation and innovative behavior, whereas transformational leadership enhances such relationship. The implications of these results for public administration and public administrators are also discussed.

Every day in our lives we are surrounded by advertisements. Even if we don`t read a paper, watch television or walk around with our eyes closed, we will find it impossible to avoid some form of publicity, whether it might be the latest offer at the local supermarket or some advertisements on the television. The main purpose of advertisement to sell products, but the advertisement not only sells the reader the product, but also a future image of ourselves as more desirable and happier. Very important to a successful advertisement is the use of semiotics. Semiotics, among other things, plays a major role in catching the attention of the intended target market such as men, women, adults or teens. The placement of certain images, text, colors, and other signs is a key part of the overall successfulness of the advertisement. We have also learned that the use of semiotics varies with the kind of product being advertised, however between similar products, the overall theme of the advertisements seems to stay the same with few exceptions.

Crash cushion systems are installed in order to redirect errant vehicles and to prevent vehicles from direct collisions to the roadside structures. Crash cushion systems protect drivers, passengers, pedestrians and roadside structures from impacting vehicles. The standard for installation and maintenance guidelines for roadside safety appurtenance of Ministry of Construction and Transportation specifies the levels of performance, required of crash cushions, for the restraint and/or redirection of impacting vehicles. The impact severity of vehicles in collision with crash cushions is rated by indices Theoretical Head Impact Velocity (THIV) and Post-impact Head Deceleration (PHD). In this study, some crash cushions are considered to understand the characteristics of performance and impact severity.<br/>

Sales of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) have increased in recent years, especially in the USA. The HEV is expected to play an important role for realizing the Electric Vehicle (EV) in the long run. USA, Europe and Japan are prepared the motor vehicle safety standards about the HEV using the safety standard for the EV or Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). The vehicle safety regulations of USA, Europe and Japan are reviewed for the occupant protection under the various crash environment. This study will be reflected for the establishment on the Korean motor vehicle safety standard for the HEV.
EuroSID-1에서 EuroSID-2로의 인체모형 변경이 KNCAP 측면충돌안전성 평가에 미치는 영향 연구

In order to provide consumers with safety informations of vehicles according to the Korean New Car Assessment Program(KNCAP), the evaluation results and the star ratings of 21 vehicles for the side impact tests have been reported since 2003. Now, the KNCAP considers changing the side impact dummy from EuroSID-1 to EuroSID-2 near future. The rib deflection of EuroSID-2 is 20-30% higher than that of EuroSID-1 because of the removal of "Flat Tops" effect. In this study, the effect of changing the side impact dummy from EuroSID-1 to EuroSID-2 in the KNCAP side impact evaluation is estimated through the previous KNCAP evaluation results. The results show that the decrease of the star ratings would be one star($\bigstar$) approximately.

Road restraint systems are installed to protect occupants, pedestrians, vehicles and roadside structures from fatal run-of-road crashes. The performances of road restraint systems are evaluated through full scale crash tests using a passenger car and a truck. The role of computer simulations is getting important because the evaluation and the development of road restraint systems using full scale crash tests is expensive and time consuming. Considering the results from full scale crash tests, it is recommended for computer simulations to reflect and overcome.

In 1999, Korean New Car Assessment Program(KNCAP) was initiated with the primary purpose of providing consumers with a measure of the relative safety potential of vehicles in frontal crashes. The side impact test was added to KNCAP in 2003. Nine compact passenger cars, four medium passenger cars, three SUVs and two Vans were evaluated and the star ratings for the side impact tests have been reported. According to the test results, the dominant factor for the good star rating is the rib deflection of the EuroSID1. All SUVs and Vans with R-point over 700 ㎜ get five stars.

Due to the recent amendments to FMVSS No. 208, NHTSA is considering several options regarding possible changes to the NCAP frontal crash test program. These are mainly consisted of increasing the test speed. testing with a variety of dummies, offset frontal test, changing the star rating limits and adding new injury metrics to star rating. In this study, responses to NHTSA request for comments are reviewed and introduced results for 40 mph (64 ㎞/h) full frontal barrier crash test of KATRI.
