        호텔 직원들의 임파워먼트 유형이 직무만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 -서울지역 특등급 호텔을 중심으로-

        The Purpose of this study is to identify the effect of empowerment on the job satisfaction and turnover-intent of deluex hotel employees in seoul. The model was tested using SPSS 16.0 and Amos 8.0 based on a sample of 400. There are four-dimensional factor structure(meaningfulness, competence, self-choice, Influence) for empowermen and three-dimensional factor structure(work itself, coworkers relations, senior jobs) in hotel. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the hypothesized relationship in the model were tested simultaneously by using structural equation model(SEM). The proposde model provided an adequate fit to the data, X2=872.763 (df=425, p=.045), GFI=0.989, AGFI=0.923, RMR= 0.017, NFI=0.931, CFI=0.990, RMSEA= 0.050. Second, most of four dimension of empowerment have a significant effect on the three factors of job satisfaction except meaningfulness to coworkers(Job satisfaction), competence to coworkers relations, senior jobs(Job satisfaction) and Influence to senior jobs(Job satisfaction). Third, all factors of Job satisfaction has a significant effect on the turnover-intent

        특급 호텔 조리사의 성격특성이 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 특급호텔 조리종사원의 성격특성이 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구로서, 조리사의 성격특성의 따라 특급호텔 조리사의 효율적인 인적자원관리를 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 분석결과와 시사점은 다음과 같다. The purpose of this study was to understand the influence of culinary staff`s personality traits in deluxe hotel upon job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Based on total 262 employees obtained from the empirical research, this study reviewed reliability and fitness of research model and verified total 2 hypotheses with Amos program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously by suing a structural equation model. The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, χ²=712.544(df=443), CMIN/DF=1.608, GFI=0.860, AGFI=0.834, NFI=0.830, TLI=0.918, CFI=0.927, RMSEA=0.048. The model`s fit, as indicated by these indexes, was deemed satisfactory: thus, it provided a good basic for testing the hypothesized paths. Structural equation model resulted the agreeableness(β 0.141, p<0.05), conscientiousness(β 0.360, p<0.001), openness to experience(β 0.161, p<0.05) in hotel showd a positive significant influence on job satisfaction. Also, job satisfaction(β 1.489, p<0.001) had a positive significant influence on organizational commitment. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

        There are no Hotel Accounting Standards such as, USALI (USA``s Hotel & Motel Accounting Standards) in South Korea so accounting management isfollowing the business accounting standards. However, the business accounting standards cannot reflect distinctiveness of hotel industrybecause the standards only focus on manufacturing and sales. In economic field at the center of this globalization era, hotels in this country have to set up specific accounting standard which is one of the industrial accounting standards with development of hospitality industry. This standard will be useful to compare management between internal hotels and external hotels by following internationalization and expansion of hospitality industry. With financial statement and business accounting standards of USALI, the specific accounting standard for hospitality industry should include some factors as follows: First, the standard should regulate and present intrinsic accounting management standard for hospitality industry. Second, it should regulate segmentalized accounting management by each department within a hotel. Third, it should be useful to compare with other hotels and fulfil objectively. Since some international chain hotels from Europe or U.S are making financial statement with USAIL, these factors are valuable to compare with local hotels and also make it easy to check management efficiency establish business strategy. Therefore, CEOs in our country have to make an adaptive standard with understanding about accounting standard classified by hospitality industry and have to recognize necessity in terms of securing the usefulness of accounting.

        호텔 아웃소싱 직원의 직무만족과 조직몰입과의 관계 - 경영방식이 다른 특1급 호텔을 중심으로 -

        This study purposes to analyze the relationship between work satisfaction and organizational commitment recognized by outsourcing employees working at a hotel, and the differences between management method of chain and non-chain hotels to drag practical implications to effectively manage outsourcing employees who would work at various departments of hotels in the future, and to propose the improvement measures. The summary of the analysis and result through hypothesis verification are as follows. First of all, for the general characteristics of a sample, the age group of outsourcing employees was mostly 40s and 50s, and females were more than male in gender. Second, the work satisfaction had an effect to the organizational commitment for the relationship between work satisfaction and organizational commitment of outsourcing employees. That is, interest in work, opportunity for promotion, psychological stability and working environment had an effect to an organization concentration. Third, the difference in work satisfaction of chain and non-chain outsourcing employees with different management method showed higher work satisfaction from chain hotel employees, however, higher work satisfaction in the working environment and psychological stability were high from non-chain hotel employees.

        온라인을 통한 호텔 선택요소가 구매의도에 미치는 구조적 관계연구

        Accommodation is an important part of tourism, and the hotel online booking market is also attractive. Compared to existing offline reservations by travelers, purchase reservations are increasing at the Hotel Website or Online Travel Agency (OTA). The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between hotel online purchasing intentions by selecting factors such as quality, price, facility, location, service, room, etc. based on hotel options online. The data analysis is conducted based on 326 respondents who have been used hotel online reservations. To summarize the analysis results of this study, first, facilities, location, and room dimensions were found to have a statistically significant effect on quality factors. Second, facilities, location, service, and room dimensions were found to have a statistically significant effect on price factors. Third, it was confirmed that quality, price, and service dimensions had a statistically significant effect on hotel purchase intention. This study is meaningful in that the results obtained from empirical research provided a framework for establishing practical strategies by encouraging website users to use and specifying important choices that can be used continuously.

        고용형태와 이직경험에 따른 호텔 직원의 조직후원인식이 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 호텔 조직에서 직원들이 조직으로부터 인지하는 조직후원인식이 직무만족, 조직몰입에 어떠한 영향관계를 밝히고 직원의 고용형태와 이직경험에 따른 차이를 분석하고자 하는 목적에서 진행되었으며, 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 기존의 선행연구를 토대로 가설을 설정하고, 서울시내 특1·2급호텔에 근무하는 직원들을 대상으로 설문조사하여 요인분석과 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 총 4개의 가설을 설정하였으며, 분석결과 3개의 가설이 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. his study has progressed on the assumption that perceived organizational support of hotel employee that has a significant effect on the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment will be different according to the type of employment and the experience of turnover. Therefore the purpose of this study was to examine the effect of perceived organizational support of hotel employee on the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment according to the type of employment(full-time position / temporary position) and the experience of turnover(experienced person of turnover / nonexperienced person of turnover) and to clarify the difference of influence between the type of employment and the experience of turnover. The major findings of this study were follows. The perceived organizational support(operational support / emotional support) of hotel employee is regarded as an important element influencing the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment. The effect of perceived organizational support(operational support / emotional support) of hotel employee on the degree of the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment can also be changed according to the experience of turnover.

        빅데이터를 활용한 캠핑 트렌드 분석 - 코로나19 이후 변화를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to confirm the influence of the perceived 2nd foreign language competence as a core competency on job engagement. The researchers suggest the research model and scales to test the hypotheses and measure the variables based on the previous studies. An empirical study is conducted based on 280 samples, focusing on the hotels in Myeongdong, Seoul, the hotels that have been visited by Japanese tourists the most for a long time. According to the results, hypothesis 1 is confirmed as the perceived 2nd foreign language competence showed a significant positive effect on hoteliers'job engagement. Hypothesis 2 is also confirmed as a significant number of rooms division employees perceived their 2nd foreign language competence as superior to the food and beverage department employees. However, hypothesis 3 was dismissed as there was no significant difference in job engagement between the two departments. The results of hypothesis 1 and 2 were in line with the previous studies related to the 2nd foreign language competence in the tourism industry, but there was also a diametrical result. This could be explained by the hotels'distinct regional characteristics and the diversification in Japanese guests. Therefore, hotel industries should actively support hoteliers mentally and materially without being thrifty if they decide that 2nd foreign language competence is essential for their industries by carefully considering their guests'nationalities. The improvement of Hoteliers' Japanese language competence will enable them to be enthusiastic and confident when approaching customers who were satisfied with the service will re-visit, which will eventually lead to the vitalization of their businesses.

        본 연구는 지구촌 현대인들의 관심사인 의료관광에 대하여 우리나라에서 추진 중에 있는 의료관광 현황과 문제점과 시사점 그리고 환경요인 등을 파악하여 다양한 의료관광 상품과 국내의 호텔 ㆍ리조트를 연계 및 활용하여 고부가가치 의료관광산업으로 활성화하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다, As we have financial leeway in their life seeking good health and long life, people on the globe demonstrate a strong tendency towards healthcare and their wellbeing. The medical tourism industry of Korea in 2009 designated as the new article Number 12 (2nd Clause) is now supported by the Tourism Promotion Act as part of the Presidential decree. The fundamental elements in medical tourism industry consists of medical institutions, hotels and resorts, professional travel agencies. Moreover, it is expected to improve customer satisfaction if the products of tourism industry are divided into 3 categories and strategically managed. With its theoretical background, this study intends to analyze the details and present the possible outcome in terms of customer service and product development related to medical tourism seen in hotels and resorts. In addition, it aims to shed light to the standards in customer service, develop more value-added products utilized in hotels and resorts, and eventually revitalize the medical tourism industry.

        호텔 조리사의 경력 정체가 직무 만족과 직무 성과에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of chef’s career plateau(content plateau and structural plateau) on job satisfaction and job performance in the hotel industry. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the study was conducted by establishing a hypothesis through precedent studies and relevant literature and verifying the hypothesis through empirical testing. survey data were collected form 411 hotel chefs. In conclusion, it was found that the of hotel chefs which are structural career plateau of hotel chefs negatively related the job satisfaction. Also, it was found that the chefs that recognized themselves to have a job satisfaction had a higher level of job performance. Based on such study results, the study proposes valuable implications for hotel chefs in managing their career and performing their work by suggesting a career plateau and job development direction to enhance the subjective view of a successful career and job performance of hotel chefs.
