In this paper, we propose a new target tracking filter architecture using active and passive sensors in underwater environment. A passive sensor for target tracking needs a bearing measurement of target. And target tracking filter for using passive sensor has the observability problem. On the other hand, an active sensor does not have the problem associated with system observability problem because an active sensor uses bearing and range measurement. In this paper, the tracking filter algorithm that could be used in the active and passive sensor system is proposed to analyze maneuvering target and to improve target tracking performance. The proposed tracking filter algorithm is tested by a series of computer simulation runs and the results are analyzed and compared with existing algorithm.

CNT (carbon nanotube) resistors with low resistance and negative TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) were fabricated with yarned CNT (carbon nanotube) fibers. The CNT fibers were prepared by yarning CNTs grown on the silicone substrate by CVD (chemical vapor deposition) method. The CNT resistors were fabricated by winding CNT fibers on the surface of ceramic rod. Both metal terminals were connected with the CNT fiber wound on the ceramic rod. We measured electrical resistance and thermal stability with the number of CNT fibers wound. The CNT resistor system shows linearly decreased resistance with the number of CNTs wound on the ceramic rod and saturated at 20 strands. The CNT resistor system has negative TCR between $-1,000{\sim}-2,000ppm/^{\circ}C$ and stable frequency properties under 100 kHz.
Carbon Nanotube의 첨가에 의한 PZT/PVDF 압전소자의 상전이와 출력 효율 개선

Lead zirconate titanate/poly-vinylidene fluoride (PZT/PVDF) piezoelectric devices were fabricated by incorporating carbon nanotubes (CNTs), for use as flexible energy harvesting devices. CNTs were added to maximize the formation of the ${\beta}$ phase of PVDF to enhance the piezoelectricity of the devices. The phase transition of PVDF induced by the addition of CNTs was confirmed by analyzing the X-ray diffraction patterns, scanning electron microscopy images, and atomic force microscopy images. The enhanced output efficiency of the PZT/PVDF piezoelectric devices was confirmed by measuring the output current and voltage of the fabricated devices. The maximum output current and voltage of the PZT/PVDF piezoelectric devices was 200 nA and 350 mV, respectively, upon incorporation of 0.06 wt% CNTs.

문자인식 즉 OCR(Optical Character Recognition)기술은 광학적으로 인식할 수 있는 문자를 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있도록 하는 기술을 뜻한다. 문자인식의 근간이 되는 방법은 스트링 매칭 기법이 사용되어 왔지만 한글의 경우 자음, 모음, 자음 조합으로 만 가지 유형이 넘고, 더욱이 상용한자와 영어를 섞어 쓰기 때문에 오인식되는 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 한글이 수직선, 수평선, 사선과 같이 방향성이 강한 선소들로 구성되어 있다는 점을 이용하여 한글의 인식률을 높이는 방법을 제안하였다.
