        Genome sequence of Veillonella atypica KHUD-V1 isolated from a human subgingival dental plaque of periodontitis lesion

        본 논문에서는 한국인 만성 치주염 환자의 치은연하치태에서 분리된 Veillonella atypica KHUD-V1의 유전체 서열을 보고한다. 다른 V. atypica 균주와 달리, KHUD-V1에서는 프로 파지 및 이와 관련된 것으로 추정되는 여러 병독성 인자가 확인되었다. V. atypica KHUD-V1 균주 및 이 균주의 유전체 서열정보는 Veillonella의 유전체 다양성을 진화론적 관점에서 이해하고, V. atypica의 병독성 및 유전적 다양성에 기여하는 프로파지의 역할을 연구하는데 유용할 것이다. Here we report the genome sequence of Veillonella atypica strain KHUD-V1 isolated from subgingival dental plaque of Korean chronic periodontitis patients. Unlike other V. atypica strains, KHUD-V1 carries two prophage regions and prophage remnants, as well as several genes homologous to prophage-associated virulence factors, such as virulence-associated protein E, a Clp protease, and a toxin-antitoxin system. The isolate and its genome sequence obtained here will aid to understand the diversity of the genome architecture of Veillonella within an evolutionary framework and the role of prophages that contribute to the genetic diversity as well as the virulence of V. atypica.

        설하 신경 마비로 인한 설마비 환자 치험 1례

        Hypoglossal nerve palsy is an uncommon neurologic disorder. We report a 67-year-old Korean male with tongue paralysis due to hypoglossal nerve palsy. He had complaints associated only with tongue paralysis and was treated with herbal medicine and electric acupuncture for 12 days. We evaluated his tongue paralysis severity by a numeric rating scale (NRS) and the angle of tongue deviation. After 12 days of treatment, the NRS score showed improvement of his complaints, and the angle of tongue deviation was decreased. Korean medicine could therefore be an effective treatment choice for hypoglossal nerve palsy.

        태양전지용 CdS 박막의 제조 조건에 따른 전기적 광학적 특성에 관한 연구

        Cadmium sulphide (CdS) thin film, which is used as a window layer of heterojunction solar cell, on the glass substrate was deposited by vacuum evaporation. Effects of deposition conditions such as the source and substrate temperature on electrical and optical properties of CdS films was investigated. As the source temperature was increased, the deposition rate of CdS films was increased. In addition, the optical transmittance and the electrical resistivity of CdS films were decreased as the source temperature was increased. This results were attributed to the increase of excess Cd amount in the film. The crystal structure of CdS films exhibited the hexagonal phase with preferential orientation of the (002) plane. As the substrate temperature was increased, the crystal structure of CdS films was improved and the resistivity of the films was increased due to the decrease of excess Cd in film.

        Laguerre Polynomial을 이용한 저수지군의 최적제어

        저수지군을 최적으로 운영하려고 할때 일반적으로 동적계획법을 이용하는데 저수지 수의 증가와 변수의 이산화에 따라 계산 용량이 지수적으로 팽창하는 결점을 내포하고 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 저수지 시스템 변수가 LP(Laguerre Polynomial)로 표현된 새로운 모형 개발을 시도하였다. 새로운 계획모형은 QP(Quadratic Programming) 형태이다. 이 모형의 해는 확장 라그란지안 곱수 방법(Augmented Lagrangian Multiplier Method)의 비선형계획법에 의해서 QP해를 구하였다. 그 결과 저수 수준은 기존의 결과보다 높게 유지하려는 경향을 보였으며, 평가된 편익 값은 다른 방법들과 비슷한 값이었다. Traditionally, a dynamic programming(DP) technique has been used to the multireservoir control system. The algorithm has inherent problem to increase computational requirements exponentially due to discretization of variables and expanding the dimension of the system. To solve this problem, this paper describes transforming the optimal control system into a quadratic programming(QP), using Laguerre polynomials(LP) and its properties. The objective function of the proposed QP is independent of time variable. The solution of the QP is obtained by nonlinear programming(NLP) using augmented Lagrangian multiplier method. The numerical experiment shows that the water level of reservoirs is higher than Lee's and the evaluated benefit value is about the same as other researcher's.

        지점 호우 모형의 매개상수 동정의 관한 기초 연구

        Geogakakos와 Bras의 일차원 지점 강수량 모형이 전주지점 호우모형으로 적합한지를 검토하였다. 구름 물리학을 토대로 한 이 모형의 기본변수는 운정의 압력, 평균 상승 기류 속도, 운저의 평균 운적직경의 역수값 등인데, 입력변수에 의하여 매개상수화 된다. 매개상수는 Hooke와 Jeeves의 직접 탐색 알고리즘에 의하여 평가되었다. 그 결과 계산 강우량과 실측 강우량과의 평균 자승 오차를 최소화 하는데 평균 상승 기류 속도와 운저 운적직경에 관계된 매개상수가 크게 기여하였다. 이러한 수치실험에서, 계산 총강우량과 실측 총강우량의 편차는 크지 않았으나 시간분포는 상당한 차이를 보였다. We check up on whether the one-dimensional station precipitation model of Geogakakos and Bras is suitable to the storm model for Chonju station or not. The fundamental variables of the physically based model consists of the pressure at the cloud top, the hight-averaged updraft velocity(HAUV), and the inverse of the average diameter of the hydrometeors(ADH) at cloud base. And they are parameterized by input variables. The parameters are eastimated by the direct search algorithm of Hooke and Jeeves in this paper. The results show that HAUV and ADH are dominant factors to minimize root mean square error between the calculated and the observed rainfall. In this numerical analysis, the deviation between the calculated and the total observed rainfall is small, otherwise the gap for the time distribution is quite big.

        태양전지용 CdS 박막의 구조적, 광학적 물성에 미치는 스퍼터 전력 효과

        CdS films have been prepared on polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate, and Coming 7059 substrates by r.f magnetron sputtering technique at room temperature. A comparison of the properties of the films deposited on polymer and glass substrates was performed. In addition, the influence of the sputter power on the structural and optical properties of these films was evaluated. The XRD measurements revealed that CdS films were polycrystalline and retained the mixed structure of hexagonal wurtzite and cubic phase, regardless of substrate types. As the sputter power was increased from 75 to 150 Watt, the structure of CdS films was converted from the mixed of hexagonal and cubic phase to hexagonal phase. The morphology of CdS films is found to be continuous and dense. Also, the grain of CdS films is larger with increasing the sputter power. The average transmittance exceeded 80 % in the visible spectrum for all films and decreases slightly with the sputter power.

        강우의 모의발생에 관한 연구 (2차원 무작위 호우장에서)

        최근 몇년동안 2차원 무작위 강우장의 확률특성치인 환상스펙트럼에 대한 논의가 있었고, 2차원 강우장의 모의 모형도 제안되었다. 본 연구는 맨처음 G.Matheron에 의해 소재된 회전띠기법(TBM)을 도입하여 앞서 제시된 환상스펙트럼이나 동방성 공분산 함수를 2차원 강우장으로 전환하는 문제를 다루었다. 특히 Bras의 강우 모의 모형에서 잔차 발생치의 보존특성에 중점을 두었는데 표본수의 증가에 따라 TBM에 의해 발생한 값을 토대로 산정한 평균과 공분산이 이론치에 접근해감을 보였다. 또한 표본의 갯수를 경제적인 규모로 선택하여 실시한 진행성 강우의 모의예도 제시하였다. In recent years, hydrologists have been interested in the radial spectrum and its estimation in two dimensional storm field to construct simulation model of the rainfall. This paper deals with the problem of transformation from the spectrum or isotropic covariance function to two dimensional random field. The extended turning band method for the generation of random field is applied to the problem using the line generation method of one dimensional stochastic process by G.Matheron. Examples of this generation is chosen in the random components of the multidimensional rainfall model suggested by Bras and are given with a comparison between theoretical and sample statistics. In this numerical experiments it is observed that first and second order statistics can be conserved. Also the example of moving storm simulation through Bras model is presented with the appropriate parameters and sample size.

        수소 및 산소 플라즈마 처리에 따른 탄소나노튜브의 구조적 특성 변화

        The effect of hydrogen and oxygen plasma treatments on the structural properties of carbon nanotube(CNT) has been systematically investigated. As the plasma power was increased, nano particles were appeared at the surface of CNTs. At high plasma power(300 Watt), the structure of CNT was changed from nanotube type to nano particles. However, in case of hydrogen plasma treatment, there was no change in microstructure of CNT. From the Raman analysis, the crystallinity of CNT was deteriorated by the plasma treatment, regardless of gas types.

        태양전지용 SnO<sub>2</sub>:Sb 박막의 제조 조건에 따른 전기적, 광학적 특성 연구

        Antimony doped tin oxide ($SnO_2:Sb$) films, which are used as the front contact and back reflector of thin film solar cells, have been deposited by d,c, magnetron sputtering. The dependence of electrical and optical properties of the films on the preparation conditions, such as $O_2$ gas ratio, substrate temperature, annealing temperature was investigated. The sputter gas composition was found to affect the properties of the films. With incorporating $O_2$ gas, the electrical and optical properties of films significantly were improved. The minimum resistivity and optical transmittance over 80 % in visible region were obtained at the oxygen concentration of 30 %, When the substrate temperature was higher, the resistivity of $SnO_2:Sb$ films was decreased, while the absorption edge shifted to shorter wavelength, indicating higher optical band gap. Heat treatment over $600^{\circ}C$ resulted in poorer electrical and optical properties due to SnO phase (102) plane.
