        생체요업재료와 차폐막의 복합사용후 골연하 결손부의 재생효과

        The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of $Biocoral^R$ graft and bioglass 45S5 graft in combination with ePTFE membrane in periodontal osseous defects for new bone formation. Nine healthy dogs were used. Under general anesthesia, 3-wall defects were created on the mesial and distal surfaces of the maxillary right canines, the mesials of the maxillary right second premolars, the distals of the mandibular right canines and the mesials of the mandibular right third premolars. To induce periodontitis, a silicone rubber, $Provil^R$ light body, was injected under pressure into the defects. Ninety days later, $Provil^R$was removed and followed by thorough root planing. The followings were then applied in the mesial and distal defects of the maxillary right canines, the mesials of the maxillary right second premolars, the distals of the mandibular right canines and the mesials of the mandibular right third premolars by random selections : 1) ePTFE membrane only application, 2) $Biocoral^R$ graft, 3) $Biocoral^R$ graft and ePTFE membrane application, 4)Bioglass 45S5 graft, 5) Bioglass 45S5 graft and ePTFE membrane application. The membranes were removed 1 month later. The dogs were sacrified at 1, 2 and 3 months following the graft, and block sections were made, demineralized, embedded, stained and examined by light microscope and transmission electron microscope. On the sections from teeth treated with ePTFE membrane only, the defect demonstrated extensive connnective tissue and alveolar bone regeneration. The $Biocoral^R$ graft group demonstrated extensive bone regeneration compared with ePTFE membrane only group. In the $Biocoral^R$ graft plus ePTFE membrane group, regeneration of new alveolus and crest occurred within the defect. As the experimental period lengthened, bone regeneration was increased and bone bridge was formed among the graft particles. The but bioglass 45S5 graft group demonstrated extensive bone regeneration but the amount of new bone was less than that of the $Biocoral^R$ graft group. For the bioglass 45S5 graft plus ePTFE membrane group, the amount of new bone was also increased. As the experimental period lengthened, bone regeneration was increased. Multinucleated giant cells, fibroblasts and macrophages were observed. As the bone formation was increased, the number of such cells was decreased. In conclusion, the $Biocoral^R$ was found better than the bioglass 45S5 for new bone formation, and the use of ePTFE membrane alone or with $Biocoral^R$/bioglass 45S5 can be supported as potential methods of promoting bone formation.

        동작관찰훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 인지기능 향상에 미치는 영향

        연구목적은 동작관찰훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 인지기능 향상에 영향을 미치는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는 2018년 4월 23일부터 5월 18일까지 경인지역 병원에 입원 중인 재활환자 7명을 대상으로 MMSE-K와 LICA를 사용하여 평가를 진행하였고, 동작관찰프로그램으로는 상지 ROM 댄스, 풀 오버형 옷정리, 운동화 끈 묶기, 수건 개기, 양말 개기, 종이접기, 넥타이 매는 법 총 7가지 과제를 적용하였다. 통계프로그램으로는 SPSS version 20을 사용하였으며 기술통계, Wilcoxon signed ranks을 사용하여 값을 구하였다. 동작관찰훈련을 적용한 결과 MMSE-K 점수는 3.29±1.38의 변화량을 보여 p값 0.001로 유의한 값을 보였고, LICA 점수는 기억력에서 12.16±6.73으로 가장 유의한 값이 나왔다. 결론은 동작관찰훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 인지기능 영역 중 기억력에서 가장 많은 영향을 미쳤으며, 다른 영역에서도 점수 향상은 있었으나 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 앞으로 동작관찰훈련이 많이 사용되어 추후에는 뇌손상 부위별로 어느 영역에서 효과가 있는지에 대한 후속 연구가 이루어지길 바란다. This study aims to identify whether the action-observation training impacts on the improvement of stroke patient’s cognitive functioning. When it comes to the research methods, Korean version of Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE-K) and Literacy Independent Cognitive Assessment (LICA) conducted to assess samples between 23 April and 18 May 2018. Samples are seven patients who are hospitalized in Kyung-In region. In the meantime, seven tasks such as the range of joint motion (ROM) dance, arrangement of pullover clothes, lacing-ups of a pair, folding up a facecloth and socks, the origami and tying a necktie implemented as the action-observation programme. In order to analyse collected data, descriptive statistics analysis, paired t-test and the Wilcoxon signed-rank test were carried out via SPSS version 20 (a statistics programme). The change in value from MMSE-K showed its statistical significant as 3.29 (±1.38, p<.001) as well as value from LICA in recollective powers was 12.16 (±6.73), therefore, the statistic is said to be statistically significant. In conclusion, action-observation training most influenced recollective powers amongst stroke patient’s cognitive functioning areas. Even though development of cognitive functioning discovered in other areas, its values were possibly statistically insignificant. Hence, future research ought to demonstrate which areas action-observation training is effective according to brain lesion site.

        목표 근접성 설정이 정신지체학생의 운동수행에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 목표 근접성 설정이 정신지체학생의 윗몸일으키기와 줄넘기 수행에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 일반학교에 통합된 정신지체 고등학생 20명으로 장기목표 집단과 장·단기목표 집단의 두 집단에 각각 10명씩 배정하여 총 8주간 주 2회 윗몸일으키기와 줄넘기 중심 수업을 실시하였다. 두 집단 간 대상자들의 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였으며, 목표 설정 집단 내 측정시기에서 운동수행에 대한 평균차이를 검증하기 위하여 반복측정에 의한 이원변량분석과 사후검사를 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정신지체학생들의 윗몸일으키기 운동수행의 경우 장기목표 집단과 장·단기목표 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 없으며, 둘째, 정신지체학생들의 줄넘기 운동수행의 경우 장기목표 집단과 장·단기목표 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 그러나 측정시기 경우 줄넘기와 윗몸일으키기 수행에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과와 논의를 바탕으로 본 연구는 목표 설정 근접성 여부가 정신지체학생의 윗몸일으키기와 줄넘기 수행능력 향상에 영향을 미치지 않았다고 결론을 도출하였다. 후속 연구를 위한 제안으로 첫째, 목표수준 결정을 위한 도전적 수준과 현실적 수준의 준거를 마련할 필요가 있으며, 둘째, 성취수준 변화에 대한 시각적 자극을 제한하여 경쟁적 요소를 통제하여 외적타당도를 높이는 연구가 필요하며, 마지막으로 단기 목표 설정 시 기간 간격 설정에 대한 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the goal proximity setting on the performances of sit-ups and jump rope performance. Twenty students with mental retardation, integrated in a regular high school, were evenly assigned into two different groups, long-term goal group and long- and short-term goal group. The students in each group have been participated in sit-ups and jump rope program for eight weeks, two times a week. Descriptive statistics with means and standard deviations, two-way ANOVA by repeated measurement, and post-test were applied for analysis. The results were as follows. First, for sit-ups performance there was no significant difference between long-term goal group and long- and short-term goal group. Second, for jump rope performance, there was no significant difference between two groups, either. And there was signigicant differences in both sit-ups and jump rope. With in-dept discussion referring literature reviews and the results, it is concluded that goal setting proximity did not make any influence on improving the performance of sit-ups and jump rope for students with mental retardation. Further implications and suggestions for future researches have been discussed.

        특수체육 연구에서 혼합 연구방법론 적용 사례와 향후 발전을 위한 탐색

        본 연구는 특수체육의 다양성과 특이성을 반영하고 연구의 과학적 경험적 근거를 명확히 하는데 더욱 적절 하다고 판단되는 혼합 연구방법론의 특성과 개념적 정의를 살펴보고 특수체육연구에서 혼합 연구의 적용사례 와 향후 발전 가능성을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 양적 연구, 질적 연구, 혼합 연구의 특성을 비 교 검토, 혼합 방법 연구의 개념적 정의에 관한 유사 개념들과의 비교 및 고찰, 특수체육연구에서의 적용사례와 활용가능성에 대한 탐색을 시도하였다. 본 논문의 연구내용으로 다음과 같이 세 가지 주제를 선정하였다. 첫째, 대표적인 연구 접근법으로 양적 연구, 질적 연구, 혼합 방법 연구를 다양한 관점에서 비교 설명하였다. 둘째, 최근 대두되고 있는 혼합 연구의 다양한 명칭과 정의, 사용 목적에 관하여 살펴보았다. 셋째, 특수체육학계의 2000년 이후의 연구물을 연구방법 면에서 질적 연구와 양적 연구의 추이를 분석하면서, 혼합 방법을 사용한 연 구들을 혼합 방법 연구의 방법론 관점에서 검토하였다. 본 연구는 새로이 대두되고 있는 혼합 연구의 성격을 명확히 하고, 연구방법론의 가능성과 토대를 제공하는데 기여할 것으로 생각한다. The purpose of this article was to investigate the applicabilities of the mixed methods research in adapted physical education to respond the diversity and uniqueness of the field and to satisfy the requirement of science based research. For this purpose, three major issues were discussed. First, various characteristics in three representative research methods such as qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research have been investigated. Second, definitions and purposes of the emerging mixed methods research have been reviewed. Thirdly, research trend on methodology and quality of mixed methods research in adapted physical education have been analyzed. And finally it is suggested that continuing dialog in open forum will develop the better understanding of mixed methods research in the field of adapted physical education.

        현대구전설화(MPN) 자료의 전승 양상과 분류방안 연구

        『한국구비문학대계』개정증보사업은 2008년 11월 시작되어 2018년 10월까지 진행될 예정이다. 본 연구는 『한국구비문학대계』개정증보사업의 성과를 학문적 차원에서 점검하는 일환으로 시도되었다. 본 연구는 2008년부터 2012년까지의『한국구비문학대계』 개정증보사업을 통해 조사된 설화 9,336편을 대상으로 자료의 양상을 고찰하고 분류 방법론을 고안하기 위한 토대 연구적 성격을 갖는다. 특히 『한국구비문학대계』개정증보사업에서 새롭게 조사된 현대구전설화(MPN) 자료의 양상과 분류방안을 중점적으로 논의하였다. 2008년부터 2012년까지 조사된 현대구전설화는 총 838편이다. 현대구전설화는 1989년 마련된 ‘한국설화유형표’의 8항목 분류법으로 분류되지 않는 자료가 다수를 차지한다. 전통설화가 허구를 바탕으로 서사가 구축된 것이라면 현대구전설화는 개인이 겪은 경험을 사실에 바탕으로 하여 구술하고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 제재와 내용에 따라 구분하고 분류하여 새로운 분류체계를 마련하는 방법을 모색하는 작업이 요구된다. 지금까지 조사된 현대구전설화는 제재에 따라 20개의 항목으로 묶을 수 있다. 그 중에는 도깨비 체험담, 저승체험담, 효설화, 풍수지리담 등과 같이 기존의 ‘한국설화유형표’ 8항목 분류법에 포함될 수 있는 내용의 자료도 다수 존재한다. 이들 자료는 기존의 ‘한국설화유형표’ 8항목 분류법을 적용하여 분류하되, 필요한 경우 새롭게 마련된 9번 항목으로도 분류하는 이중 분류를 제안한다. 이와 달리 6.25 전쟁체험담. 일제침략기 경험담, 시집살이담 등과 같이 전래 설화와는 전혀 성격이 다른 자료들도 다수 조사되고 있다. 이처럼 개인이 사실 차원에서 직간접적으로 경험한 것을 구술하는 자료를 분류항목 9번 항목으로 새롭게 설정하는 것을 제안한다. 한편, 민간신앙이나 속신에 관한 정보, 수수께끼, 속담, 관용구 등과 같은 민속 관련 정보를 제공하는 자료도 다수 채록되고 있다. 이러한 자료들 중에는 서사가 결여되어 설화적 가치가 부족한 자료도 있지만 민속에 관한 다양하고 귀중한 정보를 제공하고 있어서 구비 문학적 자료로서 가치가 있다고 판단되기에 분류항목 10번으로 새롭게 설정하여 분류할 것을 제안한다. The revision and supplement of ‘The Comprehensive Collection of Korean Folklore Literature’ started in November 2008 and will continue until October 2018. This study was an attempt to academically review the achievement of the project of revising and supplementing ‘The Comprehensive Collection of Korean Folklore Literature’. This study targeted 9,336 tales studied during the project of revision and supplement of ‘The Comprehensive Collection of Korean Folklore Literature’ from 2008 to 2012, examined the aspects of the data. Based on that, it serves as a basic research to develop a classification methodology. In particular, this study mainly discussed the aspects of data and classification methodology of the MPNs that were newly studied in the revision and supplementation project. A total of 838 MPNs were studied from 2008 to 2012. A large number of MPNs are not classified by the 8 categories of ‘Korean Folktale Table’ made in 1989. That is because while traditional narratives are based on fiction, MPNs are based on personal experience. Therefore, it is required to establish a new classification system which will sort and classify MPNs according to topics and contents. MPNs that have been studied so far can be grouped into 20 categories according to topics. Among them, there are many contents that can be included in the existing 8 categories of ‘Korean Folktale Table’, such as experiences about goblins, experiences about afterlife, fables about filial duty, and fables about fengshui. As for this data, this study suggests a dual classification by which they are classified by applying the existing 8-category classification method of ‘Korean Folktale Table’, but if necessary, classified into the newly created 9th category. On the other hand, there are a lot of data that is totally different from traditional narratives, such as personal narratives of the Korean War experiences of the Japanese invasion, and stories about hard married life of daughters-in-law, self-narratives. This study suggests a new way of setting the 9th category for narratives of direct or indirect personal experience. Meanwhile, there is lots of data that provide information about folklore such as folk beliefs and superstitions, riddles, proverbs and idioms. Some of these materials are without narratives and are lacking the value as folktales. However, since they provide diverse and valuable information on folklore, they are considered to be worthy of oral literature so this study suggests creating the 10th category for them.

        6-[(N-4-플루오로페닐)아미노]-7-클로로-5,8-퀴놀린디온의 in vivo 항진균 작용 평가

        6-[(N-4-Fluorophenyl)amino]-7-chloro-5,8-quinolinedione(RCK3) was tested for antifungal activities, in vivo, against Candida albicans. RCK3 was compared with ketoconazole and fluconazole in the treatment of systemic infection with Candida albicans in normal mice. The therapeutic potential of RCK3 had been assessed by evaluating their activities (survival rate) against systemic infections in normal mice. RCK3 had ED50, 8.78 +/- 0.18mg/kg but ketoconazole and fluconazole had ED50, 8.00 +/- 0.73, 10.00 +/- 0.43mg/kg respectively. Intraperitoneally administered RCK3 at the ED50, 8.78mg/kg for 7 days and 14 days reduced Candida albicans colony count in the kidneys and livers as well as ketoconazole and fluconazole at these ED50, 8.00 and 10.00mg/kg. And administered RCK3 at the ED50 for 14 days improved survival rates better than ketoconazole.

      • 생물계면활성제 생산 효모로서 Aureobasidium pullulans

        The high toxicity and extremely low biodegradability of chemical surfactants released by industries constitute a major environmental concern. On the other hand, biosurfactants produced in vivo or in vitro by microorganisms such as yeasts are comparatively eco-friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable. In fact, yeast biosurfactants are important biotechnological products in the food industry as well as have medical and cosmeceutical applications because of their specific modes of action, low toxicity, and applicability. This study aimed to develop high-value microbial biosurfactants. First of all, we developed rapid and simple screening methods for biosurfactant-producing yeast (BSPY) to design processes for the production of eco-friendly biosurfactants. Using the method, we screened many potential niches of BSPY, such as wild flowers, and developed fermentation processes to produce biosurfactants. Finally, a total of 30 strains of BSPY have been discovered until date. Unexpectedly, we are the first to report the black yeast Aureobasidium pullulansas potential BSPY in this study. In addition, 21 chemicals with high-surface tension were identified to contain biosurfactants in their culture supernatant. Analysis of the chemical structure of these 21 chemicals by mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance revealed 13 novel chemicals including glycolipids. Furthermore, BSPY (size, 29.9Mb) possess genes encoding for glycolipid-related proteins, which may provide hints to the underlying mechanism of biosurfactant production. Further studies are required to optimize the utilization of biosurfactants as valuable materials in industries.

        Biosurfactants (BSs) have recently been recognized as consequential biotechnological products in pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, and potential food applications owing to their low toxicity, specificity, and biodegradability. In recent years, increasing significance has been placed on the environmental impacts of chemical surfactants. BSs produced by microorganisms such as yeast are thought to be efficient replacers of chemically synthetic surfactants, and BSs have been developed as suitable alternatives for antimicrobial and biomedical agents. This study aimed to develop of high throughput screening (HTS) method for large amounts of potential candidates. In HTS schemes, we improved rapid and simple screening methods for BS-producing yeast (BSPY) to design processes for the formation of BS. During the screening for BSPY, we isolated many BSPYs which were identified as Aureobasidium pullulans, from wild flowers. A. pullulans is ubiquitous yeast found in various environments, including soil, animal, and plant. A. pullulans produces polysaccharides such as pullulan, lipase, mannitol oils, biocontrol, lipid composition, and siderophore. Currently, a total of 30 strains of BSPY have been discovered until date, we are for the first time to report the black yeast A. pullulans as potential BSPY in this study. In addition, 21 chemicals with high-surface tension were identified to contain BS in their culture supernatant. Analysis of the chemical structure of these 21 chemicals by mass spectrometry and NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) revealed 13 novel chemicals including glycolipids. These results suggest that this method can be used for HTS, in the near future, various BSs are potential new for use in various industrial applications and more novel BSPY or new BS may be found.
