The effects of $SiO_2$ impurity on the high temperature resistivities of AIN ceramics have been investigated. When $SiO_2$ was added into 1 wt% $Y_2O_3$-doped AIN, DC resistivities have decreased and electrode polarizations disappeared. Impedance spectroscopy showed two semi-circles at $600^{\circ}C$, which were attributed to grain and grain boundary, respectively. $SiO_2$ doping had more significant effects on the grain resistivity than grain boundary resistivity, implying that doped Si acted as a donor in AIN lattice. In addition, voltage dependency of DC resistivity was observed, which might be related to dependency of size of grain boundary semi-circle on the bias voltage in impedance spectroscopy.

Groundwater, one of the resources for supplying water, fluctuates in water level due to various natural factors. Recently, research has been conducted to predict fluctuations in groundwater levels using Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Previously, among operators in ANN, Gradient Descent (GD)-based Optimizers were used as Optimizer that affect learning. GD-based Optimizers have disadvantages of initial correlation dependence and absence of solution comparison and storage structure. This study developed Gradient Descent combined with Harmony Search (GDHS), a new Optimizer that combined GD and Harmony Search (HS) to improve the shortcomings of GD-based Optimizers. To evaluate the performance of GDHS, groundwater level at Icheon Yullhyeon observation station were learned and predicted using Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP). Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) were used to compare the performance of MLP using GD and GDHS. Comparing the learning results, GDHS had lower maximum, minimum, average and Standard Deviation (SD) of MSE than GD. Comparing the prediction results, GDHS was evaluated to have a lower error in all of the evaluation index than GD.
홈네트워크 상에서 속성정보를 이용한 티켓기반의 인증 프로토콜

Recently, LEE et al. proposed an attribute-based authenticated key agreement protocol over home network, which aimed to support authentication and key agreement between user and home server. However, if the home server is attacked in the protocol, the effects are influenced to the overall home network components severly. Thereby, this paper proposes a new ticket-based authentication protocol using user attributes between user and home devices to solve the problem. The proposed protocol supports the various levels of security to user by diversifying the network accessibility depending on user attribute. Thereby, the protocol could support more secure home network services.
모 사업장 포장부서 근로자들에서 발생한 수근터널증후군에 대한 조사연구

반복작업에 종사하는 모 사업장 포장부서 근로자 42명을 대상으로 수근터널증후군에 대한 중상, 이학적 검사 및 근전도 검사를 1991년 11월부터 1992년 3월까지 실시하였다. 양손 모두에서 근전도상 이상소견을 보인 경우가 4명, 오른쪽 손에만 이상소견을 보인 경우가 4명 그리고 왼손이 1명 등 총 9명으로서 21.4%의 높은 유병률을 나타내었다. 임상중상은 전체 42명중 66.7%에 해당되는 28명에서 나타났다. Tinel과 Phalen sign 등 이학적 검사에서 이상소견을 보인 경우는 14명으로 전체의 33.3%를 차지하였다. 그리고 키와 임신 횟수를 제외한 수근터널증후군에 대한 다른 일반적 위험요인은 환자군과 비환자군에서 유의한 차이는 없었다. 근전도 검사를 기준으로 하였을 때 임상증상에 대한 민감도는 0.89, 특이도는 0.39이었고 Tinel sign에서는 각각 0.33, 0.88 그리고 Phalen sign에서는 0.56, 0.82 등이었다. 임상증상이 있고 Tinel과 Phalen sign에서 어느 하나 양성으로 나타나는 것을 선별기준으로 하였을 경우의 민감도와 특이도는 0.57, 0.76이었다. The carpal tunnel syndrome is one of the most common peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes. The typical symptoms are pain, numbness and paresthesia in the median nerve territory of the hand. Recently, it is widely recognized that occupational factor is regarded as the important cause of the carpal tunnel syndrome. Clinical study is performed in the 42 female workers who is repetitively working at packing department in a rayon manufacturing factory from November 1991 till March 1992. The study included a questionnaire, physical examinations, and the neurophysiological test. The summary of the results obtained was as follows : 1. Among 42 packing workers, 9 workers(21.4%) were diagnosed as carpal tunnel syndrome by electromyography. The affected side was bilateral in 4 workers(9.5%), right in 4 workers(9.5%), and left in one worker(2.4%). 2. Among 42 subjects, 28 workers(66.7%) complained the clinical symptoms related to carpal tunnel syndrome, 11 workers(26.2%) showed positive Phalen sign, and 7 workers(16.7%) showed positive Tinel sign. 3. Researchers regard electromyographic finding as the gold standard for diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome. The sensitivity and specificity of the clinical symptoms to diagnose the carpal tunnel syndrome were 0.89, 0.39 respectively. If the carpal tunnel syndrome is diagnosed by the combination of the positive findings of the symptoms and the physical examinations, either Tinel or Phalen sign, the sensitivity and specificity were 0.67 and 0.76 respectively. Considering above results, though this small number of workers is not adequate for epidemiologic conclusions, carpal tunnel syndrome seems to be an important occupational disorder among packing workers in a rayon manufacturing factory.
Erythrocyte Cholinesterase Activity and Demographic Factors in Healthy Human

적혈구 콜린에스테라제 활성도와 성, 연령, 키, 몸무게, 음주 및 흡연력 등 인구학적 특성과의 관련성을 살펴보기 위해서, 두 곳의 농약 사업장 근로자 52명과 의과대학생 51명 등 총 103명을 대상으로 현장 검사용 기계를 이용해 2000년 1월부터 2월까지 적혈구 콜린에스테라제 활성도를 측정하였다. 조사 대상자는 남성이 89명(86.4%), 여성이 14명(13.6%)였으며 평균 연령은 각각 $31.8{\pm}11.4$, $27.1{\pm}10.1$ 세였다. 측정된 적혈구 콜리에스테라제 활성도의 평균값은 남성에서 $34.7{\pm}3.9$ U/g hemoglobin, 여성에서 $34.0{\pm}4.0$ U/g hemoglobin으로 군간 유의한 차이가 없었다. 한편 적혈구 콜린에스테라제 활성도와 조사된 모든 인구학적 변수들간에는 유의하지 않은 매우 낮은 상관성만이 관찰되었다. 결론적으로 적혈구 콜린에스테라제 활성도는 혈장 콜린에스테라제 활성도와는 달리 성, 연령, 키, 몸무게 등 인구학적 변수와 상관성을 보이지 않는다고 판단되었다.

Electrical properties of AlN ceramics sintered with 1 wt% $Y_2O_3$ have been investigated. From the impedance spectroscopy, electrical conductivity of grain boundary was found to be much lower than that of grain. DC conductivity measurement showed the electrode polarization effects caused by blocking electrode. The heat-treatment at $1700^{\circ}C$ of the specimen sintered at $1850^{\circ}C$ transformed continuous pain boundary phases along triple boundary junctions into isolated particles in grain comers. The heat-treatment induced decreases both in grain and grain boundary conductivity, and in DC electrical conductivities. From the analysis on the transference number, ionic conductivity was shown to be more dominant than electron conductivity, which was due to ion compensation mechanism during oxygen incorporation into grain.
