The modified supercritical water treatment method is adopted for hydrolysis of wood powder, Populus albatimesglandulosa. This modified method is containing 0.05% HCl or HNO₃ as acid catalyst. The supercritical water treatment(SCW) was performed for 1 min. with 350?C, 380?C, 400?C and 425?C, respectively, under 230 pm 10 atm using continuous flow system. When acid was added to powder prepared for SCW treatment, the yields of monomeric sugars were significantly increased. The lignin remained after supercritical treatment was applied to gel permeation chromatography(GPC) for molecular weight distribution analysis. Compared to the lignin produced from SCW treatment without acid catalyst, the average molecular weight of lignin compounds treated with acid was clearly decreased. Particularly, Mn/Mw ratio is decreased. This result shows supercritical water treatment of wood powder can change the molecular weight of lignin to small size. However, it is necessary to be further studied for exactly characterizing the lignin produced from supercritical water treatment.

Objectives The purpose of study was to identify cancer related symptoms of Sasang Constitution based on the classic of Sasang Constitutional Medicine (SCM). Methods The bibliographical study was performed with "Dongyisoosebowon-Shinchukbon(東醫壽世保元 辛丑本)", Dongyisoosebowon-Sasangchobongwon(東醫壽世保元 四象草本券), "Cancer", and several review articles. The perspective on severe illness in SCM was investigated. And 'the critical state' of constitutional symptoms based on "Dongyisoosebowon" was identified as cancer related symptoms. Results and Conclusions The perspective on severe illness of SCM was focused on the human being itself, compared with symptom based traditional Chinese medicine. The preservation of requisite energy (保命之主) was a vital factor of longevity to maintain healthy status and the classification of severity of disease. And critical state was an important indicator to control severe illness. Regarding cancer related symptoms in SCM, Janggwol(臟厥), Eumsung-gyeokyang(陰盛隔陽證), Janggyeol(藏結證) of Soeumin symptoms, Hwangdal(黃疸), Haso(下消), Eumheo-oyel(陰虛午熱證), Gochang, Tohyul(吐血) of Soyangin's symptoms, Joyeol(燥熱證), Bokchang-bujong(腹脹浮腫) of Taeeumin's symptoms, and Eolgyek of Taeyangin's symptoms could be shown the association with cancer. According to the prognosis on disease severity, regimens of daily life, behavior modifications as well as medications were also emphasized with great importance to control severe illness in SCM. These holistic approach for controlling severe illness in SCM could lead to the improvement of treatment outcome.
전이된 담도암 환자의 패혈증을 한다열소탕 및 우담과 항생제를 병행하여 치료한 환자 1례

Objectives Despite the treatment with antibiotics, patients with sepsis has a high mortality (80%) in the underlying disease group. The aim of this study was to report the improvement of septic condition of the cholangiocarcinoma patient after the treatment with Handayeolso-tang, Fel Tauri, and antibiotics. Methods We retrospectively reviewed the medical records. The patient's subjective symptoms such as chilling and abdominal pain were evaluated by NRS and the performance status was evaluated by ECOG. This case was literally compared with relevant published studies on prognosis of sepsis. Results Despite poor prognostic factor(MEDS score 18), the patient's symptoms such as fever, chilling, abdominal pain, and diarrhea and ECOG(Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group) improved. The patient was hemodynamically stabilized on 3rd day from the treatment, and her laboratory test results were normalized on 7th day. Conclusions A female patient of metastatic cholangiocarcinoma came to the hospital for cholangitis, later causing septic shock. Both her symptoms and laboratory tests showed significant improvement after the treatment of antibiotics, Handayeolso-tang and Fel Tauri. To our knowledge, this is the first case reporting the synergistic combination of Korean oriental medicine and Western medicine approaching to sepsis.

In this study, torrefaction of mixed softwood chips under anoxic condition was performed to improve energy density and maintain consistent quality of biomass. Characteristics of torrefied biomass depending on reaction time (30 min) and temperature (240, 260, 280˚C) were investigated. Torrefaction of mixed softwood chips significantly improved the heating value compared to that of untreated biomass. As the torrefaction temperature was increased, the carbon content of torrefied biomass increased from 46.55 to 55.73%, while its hydrogen and oxygen contents decreased from 6.00 to 5.87% and from 30.55 to 27.21%, respectively. Most of hemicelluloses and volatile compounds were removed during torrefaction. The highest heating value was 5132 kcal/kg when torrefaction was performed at 280˚C for 30 min. It implied that the heating value increased by 13% compared to that of original biomass. However, the condition of effective torrefaction was at 240˚C for 30 min when weight loss and energy yield was considered.

본 논문은 대기압 환경에서 발생하는 유전체 장벽 방전(dielectric barrier discharge: DBD) 플라즈마의 전자파산란 특성을 측정하였다. 본 논문에서는 기본적인 DBD 플라즈마 발생기 구조를 병렬로 연결하여 넓은 면적의 플라즈마 발생기를 제작하였고, 14 kV, 4 kHz의 고전압 발생장치를 이용해 플라즈마가 발생하는 것을 확인하였다. 두 개의 혼 안테나와 벡터 네트워크 분석기를 이용해 S-parameter의 비교를 통해 전자파 산란 특성을 측정하였다. 전방 산란의 경우 제작된 플라즈마 발생기의 구조적 특성으로 인해 안테나의 편파에 따라 다른 결과 값을 얻었다. 편파가 수평일 때 최대 2 dB의 산란파 감쇠 특성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 편파가 수평일 경우, 플라즈마 발생기 뒤에 PEC를 설치한 후 후방 산란 특성을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 5 GHz에서 안테나 관찰 각도가 40°, 60°일 때 최대 2 dB 산란파 감쇠 특성을 얻었다. This paper presented measurement results of scattering characteristics of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma at atmospheric pressure. In this paper, plasma actuator is fabricated by parallel connecting of basic configuration of DBD plasma actuator, then plasma could be generated by applying 14 kV, 4 kHz of high voltage generator. In order to measure the scattering characteristics of DBD plasma, in this paper, two horn antennas and vector network analyzer are used to compare the S-parameter. Because of the structure of fabricated plasma generator, different result is obtained as antenna polarization changes. When antenna polarization is parallel to electrodes of plasma generator, the scattered field is reduced by 2 dB in maximum. In addition, for parallel polarization case, PEC is set up behind the plasma generator to measure backward scattered field. When the observation angles are 40° and 60°, the amount of reduced scattered field is 2 dB in maximum at 5 GHz.
국내 공간디자인 관련 전시회의 주제 분석을 통한 디자인 트렌드 변화 연구

The purpose of this study was to analyze the spatial design trend through the analysis of the themes and the contents of the major spatial design exhibition in Korea - Kyung Hyang Housing Fair and Seoul Living Design Fair- based on the periodical issues in political, economic, and socio-cultural background from 1986 to 2013. Content analysis was used as a research method. Periodical information about each exhibition was collected through the online search and supplementary materials such as guidebook were added for content analysis. The major findings were as follows: Since t980s, there was an increased need and interest for housing and interior design and the 1st Kyung Hyang Housing Fair was opened in 1986. In 1990s, design quality improvement was emphasized based on the issues of IMF and shoddy and fault construction such as collapse of Sam Poong department store. Due to the broad dissemination of internet, globalization, and emergence of diverse household type, demand for housing and interior design was diversified after 2000s. Additionally, the global concepts associated with sustainability, energy saving, and green growth were influenced to spatial design field. Lately, interaction design is rapidly developing due to proliferation of SNS and smart mobile equipment. Meanwhile, there is a continuing trend for emotional design in recent years.

현재 우리나라 유아체육은 어린이집에서 주로 놀이 형식으로 진행된다. 대부분의 어린이집은 유아체육 담당교사가 없고 주로 인맥에 의존한 프리랜서가 유아체육 프로그램을 일회성으로 진행한다. 또한 유아체육 교사들의 경력에 따라 유아체육 프로그램이 다르며 시설의 다양성이 부족하고 관리가 미흡하다. 따라서 본 논문은 위와 같은 문제를 해결하기위하여 어린이집과 유아체육교사를 위한 O2O 매칭 플랫폼을 제안한다. 이를 통해 어린이집과 유아체육 교사들에게 편리성과 효율성을 제공하여 진입장벽을 낮추고 더 나아가 유아 체육의 활성화를 기대할 수 있다.
