      • FOCUS-인재, 그 성장 잠재력에 주목하라

        이석재,Lee, Seok-Jae 벤처기업협회 2003 벤처다이제스트 Vol.32 No.-

Vol.10 No.2

A practical method to design the input shaping which generates control command is proposed in this paper, We suggest an experimental technique considering human operator's target tracking error to improve aiming accuracy which significantly affects hit probability. It is known that stabilization performance is one of the most important factors for ground combat vehicle system. In particular, stabilization error of the manual target tracking system mounted on moving vehicle directly affects hit probability. To reduce this error, we applied input command shaping method using preprocessing filtering and functional curve fitting. First of all, we construct the human operator model to consider effects of human operator on our system. Input shaping curve is divided into several regions to get rid of the above problems and to improve the system performance. At example design part, we chose three steps of functional command curve and determine the parameters of the function by the proposed design method. In order to verify the proposed design method, we carried out the experiments with real plant of a fighting vehicle.

K-SEC (Korean-Spoken English Corpus) is a kind of speech database that is being under construction by the authors of this paper This article discusses the needs of the K-SEC from various academic disciplines and industrial circles, and it introduces the characteristics of the K-SEC design, its catalogues and contents of the recorded database, exemplifying what are being considered from both Korean and English languages' phonetics and phonologies. The K-SEC can be marked as a beginning of a parallel speech corpus, and it is suggested that a similar corpus should be enlarged for the future advancements of the experimental phonetics and the speech information technology.

The vetronics is necessarily required for enhancement of the operational capability and optimization of the system architecture. In this paper, we presents the realtime control methods for the vetronics of the fighting vehicles. We proposed the data distribution based on standard bus and computer resource for realtime and integrated control of the system. Embedded computers are designed considering extensibility and reliability of the system. The integrated display improves the operator's capability. We applied the network centric battle management and digital power control with intelligent switching elements to increase cooperated combat efficiency and reliability. To show the feasibility of the presented design schemes, the vetronics has been implemented and applied to a real fighting vehicle.

2006 Maxillofacial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Vol.28 No.1

Open reduction and rigid internal fixation is the most popular treatment method for maxillofacial fracture patients, and it is unevitable that postoperative pain can be developed. Many surgeons including oral & maxillofacial surgeons have made constant efforts to decrease postoperative pain. This study is a comparison of postoperative analgesia and intramuscular analgesia in patients with mandibular fractures. In this study, twenty-one patients (Experimental group) were randomly selected and they were injected with IV patient-controlled analgesia (PCA; Walkmed$^{(R)}$, USA). For control group another twenty-one patients were injected with intramusclar non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (Rheoma$^{(R)}$, Samsung Pharm. Co.). And then, we measured visual analogue scale (VAS) scores from first postoperative day to second day at regular time interval. The following results were uptained; 1. In patient group who with open reduction and rigid internal fixation, there was significant difference of postoperative analgesic effect during the first postoperative day(p<0.05). 2. In patient group with over 90 minutes surgery time, there was significant difference of postoperative analgesic effect during the first and second postoperative day when compared between experimental group and control group(p<0.05). 3. In patient group with less than 90 minutes surgery time, there was no significant difference of postoperative analgesic effect during the first and second postoperative day when compared between experimental group and control group(p>0.05). 4. In patient group with surgery of open reduction using rigid internal fixation at single fractured site, there was no significant difference of postoperative analgesic effect during the first and second postoperative day when compared between experimental group and control group(p>0.05). 5. In patient group with surgery at two fractured sites, there was significant difference of postoperative analgesic effect during the first postoperative day when compared between experimental group and control group(p<0.05). As mentioned above, it suggest that patient-controlled analgesia is more effective for postoperative pain relief than intramuscular injection in patients with rigid internal fixation by open reduction after mandibular fracture occurred. Especially, it is considered that in patient with more than 90 minutes surgery time or in cases with multiple fractured sites had more effective results with PCA therapy than conventional intramuscular analgesics.

        이석재,김용진,Lee, Seok-Jae,Kim, Yong-Jin 대한흉부심장혈관외과학회 1993 Journal of Chest Surgery (J Chest Surg) Vol.26 No.5

We report three cases of children who underwent definitive conversion to the Fontan circulation using a new surgical technique, Extracardiac Epicardial Lateral Tunnel. This new procedure allows the operation to be performed as a totally extracardiac operation [especially in ventricular dysfunction] and allows it to be performed in a very small atrium and in cases with unsuitable pulmonary venous drainage. Our data suggest that this procedure may achieve satisfactory hemodynamics of the total cavopulmonary connection.
