알고리즘의 용이성과 전역적 최적해로의 수렴가능성 등의 이점을 가진 SA알고리즘은 구조최적화문제에 활발하게 적용되고 있으나 냉각스케줄의 설정, 모호한 종료기준, 과도한 반복해석 등의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 기존 SA알고리즘의 단점을 보완한 MSA 알고리즘을 개발하고자한다. MSA 알고리즘은 수렴에 요구되는 반복수를 감소시키고 국부최소점이 많은 동적최적화문제의 초기설계 선택의 자율성을 확보하기 위하여 SQ 및 SA의 2단계로 구성하여 개발하였다. 또한 기존 연구에서 제안된 냉각 스케줄에 의한 수렴성 등을 비교분석하여 구조최적화에 적합한 냉각스케줄을 제안하여 그 성능을 평면가새골조 구조물의 최적내진설계에 적용하여 분석하였다. With the positive features of simulated annealing algorithms such as simplicity of the algorithm and the possibility of finding global optimum solution, SA algorithm has been widely applied to structural optimization problems. However, the algorithms are far from practical applications in structural design or optimization of building structures due to requirement of a large number of iterations and dependency on cooling schedule and stopping criteria. In this paper, with the modification of annealing process and stopping criteria, a MSA algorithm is presented in the form of two phase annealing process for optimal seismic design of braced structures. The performance of the proposed algorithm has been illustrated in detail.
청소년의 성별에 따른 Cortisol 분비의 일주기 차이 : 반복측정에 따른 Area Under the Curve 분석법 사용

Purpose : This study investigated the diurnal rhythm of cortisol in male and female adolescents. Methods : Salivary cortisol was examined in 52 normally developing subjects aged 13 to 14 years. Subjects provided saliva samples at 08:00h, 12:00h, 16:00h and 20:00h. Results : Males and females showed similar pattern of cortisol, which elevated cortisol in the morning and decreased in the evening. There were no differences of gender at 08:00h, 12;00h and 20:00h. There were also not difference between males and females using an area under the curve analysis. Conclusions : The same diurnal cortisol rhythm were found in male and female adolescents. Further research is needed to examine differences of gender in cortisol awakening response.

Zr-based amorphous alloy matrix composites reinforced with tungsten (W) or tantalum (Ta) continuous fibers were fabricated by liquid pressing process. Their dynamic tensile properties were investigated in relation with microstructures and deformation mechanisms by using a split Hopkinson tension bar. The dynamic tensile test results indicated that the maximum strength of the W-fiber-reinforced composite (757 MPa) was much lower than the quasi-statically measured strength, whereas the Ta-fiber-reinforced composite showed very high maximum strength (2129 MPa). In the W-fiber-reinforced composite, the fracture abruptly occurred in perpendicular to the tensile direction because W fibers did not play a role in blocking cracks propagated from the amorphous matrix, thereby resulting in abrupt fracture within elastic range and consequent low tensile strength. The very high dynamic tensile strength of the Ta-fiber-reinforced composite could be explained by the presence of ductile Ta fibers in terms of mechanisms such as (1) interrupted propagation of cracks initiated in the amorphous matrix, (2) formation of lots of cracks in the amorphous matrix, and (3) sharing of loads and severe deformation (necking) of Ta fibers in cracked regions.
분말야금공정으로 제조된 TiC/steel 금속복합재료의 미세조직 및 기계적 물성 연구

본 연구에서는 3 wt.%, 10 wt.% Cr이 함유된 Fe-합금 분말을 기지 금속으로 하여 분말야금공정을 통해 TiC/steel 금속복합재료를 제조하였다. 이후 복합재료의 기계적 물성에 미치는 열처리의 영향을 고찰하고자, 어닐링 열처리 및 칭-템퍼링 열처리를 실시하였다. 인장, 압축 그리고 항절력 시험과 미세조직 분석을 통하여 Cr 함량 및 열처리 조건에 따른 미세조직의 변화와 구조적 강도 변화의 연관성을 고찰하였다. 10 wt.% Cr을 함유한 TiC/steel의 경우, TiC/steel 계면에서 형성된 조대한 Cr carbide의 영향으로 상온 인장강도 및 항절력이 크게 저하하였다. 이에 반해 압축강도에서는 Cr이 3 wt.%, 10 wt.% 함유된 TiC/steel 복합재료 모두 Cr carbide의 유무와 관계없이 어닐링 열처리 시편에 비해 칭-템퍼링 열처리 후 약 4 GPa에 달하는 높은 압축강도를 보였다. In this study, TiC/steel metal matrix composites were fabricated by powder metallurgy process using Fealloy powders with 3 wt.% Cr and 10 wt.% Cr, respectively, as matrix material. Subsequently, the composite samples were heat treated by the annealing and quenching-tempering(Q-T), respectively, to understand the effect of heat treatment on the mechanical properties of the composites. The correlation between microstructure and structural strength depending on the chromium content and the heat treatment conditions was studied through tensile, compressive, and transverse rupture test and microstructural analysis. In the case of TiC/steel composite containing 10 wt.% Cr, the tensile strength and transverse rupture strength at room temperature were significantly lowered by the influence of coarse chromium carbide formed at the TiC/steel interface. On the other hand, both TiC/steel composites containing 3 wt.% Cr and 10 wt.% Cr showed much higher compressive strength of about 4 GP after quenchingtempering compared to the annealed specimens regardless of the presence of the chromium carbide.
