A detail design of overhead catenary system can be divided into a pegging plan and a design of MD(mounting diagram). In the pegging plan, the mast location, staggering and tension length are determined in the longitudinal point of view according to track condition, location of substation and etc. In the MD, a transversal diagram including masts, all of wires, cantilever, foundation and etc. and materials used are shown. This study presents a development of a software to design the MD for a conventional catenary system automatically. In the program, thin walled steel pole, foundation, cantilever, all of wires and etc. are automatically drawn according to the input and catenary conditions. And materials used in the MD and the section can be also managed respectively in the program. This application of the program is developed using C# for input/calculating and using C++(ObjectARX) for drafting the MD, respectively.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze optometrists` occupation-related information provided by TV dramas to provide the foundation for appropriate optometrist occupation-related information to viewers. Methods: Dramas have been selected in which an optometrist character appeared and a broadcasted series after the amendment of the optometrist`s license scopes. Two TV dramas were selected, namely “When the Camellia Blooms” (2019) and “Band of Sisters” (2017). The data were collected from the TV drama scripts through VOD (video on demand) and analyzed using the content analysis method. Results: The TV dramas “When the Camellia Blooms” and “Band of Sisters” have identified problems in optometrists` educational background and licensing. “When the Camellia Blooms” satirized the optometrist character as an inferior occupation to that of a lawyer and in “Band of Sisters” the inappropriate terms were used more than the standard terms. The number of terms used is as follows: the standard term “optic shop” totals three times, but the inappropriate term “eyeglass shop” totals seven times. In addition, the standard term “chief of a shop” totals zero times, but the inappropriate term “‘branch manager of a shop” totals 10 times. Conclusions: Optometrists` occupation-related information in TV dramas was analyzed to examine the public recognition and cultivation effect. Both TV dramas describe the optometrist as a nonprofessional who does not have a bachelor`s degree and an optometrist`s license. The TV drama viewers not only accept the inappropriate optometrist occupation-related information but can also produce new content based on these TV dramas. Therefore, TV dramas should be encouraged to broadcast the correct optometrist occupation-related information.
유니버설디자인 관점에서 이동약자를 위한 안경원 출입구 편의시설 실태조사 - 서울특별시를 중심으로

Purpose: Mobility impairment persons are all people who experience mobility difficulties in their daily lives, which makes up about 30% of the population in Seoul Metropolitan City; this number is expected to increase with population aging. As the number of mobility impairment persons in need of vision correction increases, it is necessary to create the Universal Design guidelines and to provide the foundation to access convenience facilities at the entrance of optical shops, a health and medical institution. Methods: Of the 2,282 optical shops located in Seoul, 252 optical shops were chosen for data collection of actual photos, from April 10, 2022 to September 4, 2022. Based on the photographs, the height difference between the entrance and the sidewalk, safety handles, and opening and closing methods of entrances were investigated, as these factors correspond to the accessibility and the mobility of the mobility impairment persons. Results: Of the 252 optical shops surveyed, 114 (45.2%) have resolved the problems of height difference through improving horizontal accessibility (61) or using ramps (53). 36 (14.3%) optical shops chose automatic doors for opening and closing methods of the entrance. Implications: The rate of installation of access convenience facilities for the entrance of optical shops is slightly lower than the rate of installation of ramps, surveyed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. It is necessary to apply the Universal Design to access convenience facilities for the entrance of optical shops for not only the mobility impairment persons but all people, regardless of age or ability, to conveniently access healthcare services.

In the electrical railway, for the improvement of a train speed, it is necessary to study not only the dynamic behaviors of overhead catenary system but the fatigue behaviors of components for a safety assurance according to the increase of vibration level. One of the critical components in the system is a dropper. Therefore, the dynamic force acting on a dropper was measured in the Chungbuk Line and analyzed to figure out the dynamic characteristics the dropper. And in order to assure the safety of dropper clamp and cable, we proposed a test facility as well as test method based on the test results. For the further study, we will measure the dynamic forces in the conventional line and high-speed line and make up the test condition, so that the safety of dropper clamps can be assured.

Even if tracks cross each other, a train has to maintain a good current collection. Where catenary cross each other, it is called a crossover. Based on the cause analysis for a breakdown accident of pantograph occurred in the crossover on Ansan-line, a theoretical background and recommendation for the installation rule of a crossover are presented in the paper.
패류에서 분리한 고농도 streptomycin에 대해 저항성인 대장균의 저항성 유전자

2015년 4월부터 2016년 3월까지 우리나라에서 채취한 패류로부터 분리한 대장균 중에서 고농도의 streptomycin에 저항성을 갖는 균주의 저항성 유전자를 조사하기 위하여 이 연구를 수행하였다. 패류 시료로부터 분리한 269개 대장균 중에서 최소저해농도(MIC)가 $1,024{\mu}g/ml$ 이상인 40개 균주를 선발하여 PCR을 통해 저항성 유전자를 확인하였다. 전체의 77.5%가 strA-strB 유전자를 가지고 있어 출현빈도가 가장 높았으며, 그 다음이 aadA 유전자로 30.0%에 달하였다. 6개 균주(15.0%)는 aadA와 strA-strB를 함께 가지고 있었다. 반면에 3개 균주(7.5%)는 조사된 두 유전자 어느 것도 가지고 있지 않았다. 동일한 저항성 유전자를 가지고 있으면서 MIC가 다른 이유를 real-time PCR로 규명하였다. aadA 또는 strA-strB를 단독으로 가지고 있는 균주들 사이에 MIC가 다른 이유는 가지고 있는 저항성 유전자의 copy number에서 차이가 나기 때문이었다. The aim of this study was to investigate the distribution of resistance genes in high-level streptomycin resistant Escherichia coli isolated from shellfish collected between April 2015 and March 2016 in Korea. From the 269 E. coli isolates obtained from shellfish samples, a total of 40 streptomycin-resistant isolates with MICs of > $1,024{\mu}g/ml$ were screened and the prevalence of streptomycin resistance determinants was analyzed by PCR. Among the isolates, strA-strB gene structure (77.5%) was the most frequent streptomycin resistance determinant, followed by aadA (30.0%). Six isolates (15.0%) simultaneously contained aadA and strA-strB determinants, whereas three of the isolates (7.5%) did not contain both resistance determinants examined in this work. The difference of MICs between the isolates having the same resistance gene was elucidated by real-time PCR results. The copy number of resistance genes differed considerably among the isolates, which solely harbored an aadA or strA-strB and showed different MICs.
