The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between obesity and dental caries in children and adolescents. This study was analyzed by searching the following words in Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.co.kr), Kiss (kiss.kstudy.com), KCI (www.kci.go.kr), and RISS (riss.kr): "pediatric," "juvenile," "obesity," and "dental caries." A total of 19 Korean and 10 foreign studies out of 107 studies were selected after excluding the studies based on the exclusion criteria. When evaluating the relationship between childhood and adolescent obesity and dental caries, 16 out of 29 articles (55.2%) indicated a significant relationship, and 2 (6.9%) indicated different results based on sex, while 13 articles (44.8%) showed no significant relationship between obesity and dental caries. Among the significant studies, a total of 10 (34.5%) showed that the number of dental caries increased according to an increase in obesity, i.e., from normal to overweight to obese. A total of 5 studies (17.2%) reported that the number of dental caries increased in underweight individuals compared to those of normal weight, or decreased according to an increase in obesity, while 1 study (3.4%) indicated that the number of dental caries increased in both the underweight and obese groups compared to the normal weight group. Therefore, studies on the relationship between dental caries and the degree of obesity in children and adolescents have not shown a certain trend.

본 연구의 목적은 Q방법론을 통해 간호대학원생이 인식한 학위논문 작성 어려움에 대한 경험의 구조를 살펴보고 유형화함으로 그 유형별 특성을 이해하고 간호대학원의 교육과정과 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료 제공을 위해 시도되었다. Q 모집단 구성을 위해 간호대학원생의 학위논문 작성에 대한 경험을 심층면담하고 관련 주제에 대한 문헌고찰을 하여 도출된 Q 모집단 중에서 34개의 Q 표본 진술문이 추출되었다. Q 표본 진술문을 서울소재 대학원에 재학중인 37명의 간호대학원생에게 9점 척도의 정규분포표에 분류하도록 하였고. 이를 통해 수집된 자료는 pc-QUANL 프로그램으로 자료분석 하였다. 분석결과, 간호대학원생이 인식한 학위논문 작성의 어려움에 대한 경험은 4가지 유형이 확인되었다. 제 1유형은 능력부족 자책형, 제 2유 형은 지지체계 기반 극복형, 제 3유형은 논문진행 절차 부담형, 제 4유형은 부정적 감정 표출형으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 대학에서는 간호대학원생이 학위과정동안 연구자로서의 뚜렷한 소명감과 자긍심을 갖게 하는 교육 프로그램 개발 및 간호 학자로 도약하도록 돕는 교육 매체 개발의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 본다. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify strategies about difficulty in degree course in graduate nursing students, and to provide basic data for graduate nursing students’ educational program and desirable directions. Methods : A Q-methodology which provides a method of analyzing the subjectivity of each item was used. 34 selected Q-statements were derived from a literature review and interviews. 37 graduate nursing students were classified into a shape of normal distribution using 9-point scale. Collected data was analyzed by the pc-QUANL program. Results : Four types of nursing graduate students’ difficulty in degree course were identified. The name for type Ⅰ was ‘Lack of ability’, for type Ⅱ, ‘Overcoming due to social support’, for type Ⅲ, ‘Difficulty of report writing itself’, for type Ⅳ, ‘Expose one’s negative emotion’. Conclusion : The results of this study indicate that different approaches to educational programs can be used for graduate nursing students in degree course.
