아동문학을 통한 초등영어 지도방안 -주석기반읽기활동을 중심으로-

본 연구는 초등학교 영어학습자를 대상으로 의사소통능력 신장을 위해 필요한 요인 분석을 통해 아동문학 기반 활동의 효과를 모색해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 강원도 B 소재 초등학교 5학년 1개 학급 총 13명을 실험반으로 구성하고 총 14주 걸쳐 선정된 아동문학 작품으로 수업을 진행하였다. 실험 전 설문을 통해 학생들의 개별화 학습 선호도, 수업 관련 언어 기능별 선수 학습, 교실영어 이해도, 아동문학 활용 학습 방법 탐색, 수업 관련 내용 이해도 점검을 조사하였으며 설문결과 분석 후 5학년 영어전담교사와 설문조사에 드러난 학습자들의 특징을 토대로 아동문학을 활용한 영어지도 방안을 구현하였다. 지도는 주석기반읽기 활동과 워드클라우드 활동을 중심으로 구성되었으며 실험 참여자들의 수준과 성격을 고려하여 학생 간 서로 협업하여 진행 할 수 있고 의사소통능력 향상은 물론, 영어 학습에 대한 전반적인 흥미도와 몰입도를 증가시킬 수 있는 요소를 지닌 활동에 초점을 두었다. 실험결과 아동문학 활용과 주석기반읽기 활동은 의사소통 능력 향상에 효율적으로 적용시킬 수 있는 도구로서의 가능성을 확인하였으며 끝으로 추후 연구와 관련된 제언을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of teaching elementary English class through children’s literature with close reading annotation. In order to figure out any potentials, 14-week research study was conducted in a local elementary school in Gangwon province. A number of 13 students were engaged in and 9 selected English literature for young learners was utilized. Prior to the study, a survey questionnaire was distributed and administered to seize the perspectives of the focal participants toward English learning. The survey was composed of 11 questions and questioned about learning preference, language proficiency to four skills(reading, writing, listening, speaking), degree of understanding classroom English, standpoint for using children’s literature, and degree of understanding English lesson. After collecting the results from the participants, the data was analyzed and used as a resource to create ‘how to teach English through children’s literature’. As a main activity, both close reading annotation and wordcloud were proposed and conducted in reading class. sFindings show that close reading annotation and wordcloud has potential to ELLs by shedding light on the improvement of communicative competence.

리딩로그 활동이 대학생 영어학습자의 쓰기 능력과 정의적 요인에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of English writing activities such as reading log on college students' English writing ability and affective factors (learning attitude, interest, and satisfaction), and to make educational suggestions on English writing guidance. To this end, a total of 8 weeks of experimental classes were conducted on 48 third-grade English learners attending D University of Education, and pre- and post-English writing ability evaluation papers and questionnaires on affective factors were used to achieve the research purpose. The research results are summarized as follows. First, it was confirmed that English writing activities such as reading log had a positive effect on college students' English writing ability. Among the main elements of content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanical factors in writing evaluation, improvements in vocabulary and language use were notable, and slight improvements were confirmed in content, organization, and mechanical factors. Second, it was found that reading log-based English writing activities helped college student English learners form a positive learning attitude. In addition, reading log English writing activities were found to have had a positive effect on improving interest in learning English. Finally, English composition activities through the reading log partially helped improve college students' satisfaction with English learning, but no statistically significant differences were revealed. Summarizing the results derived through this study, it could be judged that English writing activities such as reading log partially affected the positive changes in English writing ability and affective factors of college students. 본 연구는 리딩로그와 같은 영작 활동이 대학생들의 영어 쓰기 능력과 정의적 요인에 미치는 효과에 대하여 살펴보고 이를 통해 영어 쓰기 지도에 대한 교육적 제언을 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 D 교육대학교에 재학 중인 3학년 영어학습자 48명을 대상으로 총 8주간의 실험 수업이 진행되었으며 연구 목적을 달성하고자 사전-사후 영어 쓰기 능력 평가지와 정의적 요인에 관한 설문지가 활용되었다. 연구결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 리딩로그와 같은 영작 활동은 대학생들의 영어 쓰기 능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 리딩로그 기반의 영어 쓰기 활동은 대학생 영어학습자들의 긍정적 학습 태도 형성에 도움을 제공한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 리딩로그 영작활동은 영어 학습에 대한 흥미도 향상에도 일정 부분 긍정적으로 작용한 것으로 드러났다. 끝으로 리딩로그를 통한 영작 활동은 대학생들의 영어 학습에 대한 만족도 제고에 일부 도움이 되었으나 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 드러나지 않았다. 이와 같이 본 연구를 통해 도출한 결과를 종합해 보면 리딩로그와 같은 영작 활동은 대학생들의 영어 쓰기 능력과 정의적 요인의 긍정적 변화에 일부 영향을 미친 것으로 판단할 수 있었다.

일자리소멸(Job Destruction)에서의 통화정책의 역할

본 연구에서는 통화정책이 실업과 일자리 소멸과정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가를 분석하기 위하여 일자리 소멸이 내생적으로 결정되는 상황을 새 케인지안 모형에 도입한다. 이러한 모형에서도 중앙은행이 이자율 준칙에 따라 통화정책을 수행한다는 가정 하에서 중앙은행에 의해서 발생하는 외생적인 이자율의 상승은 총산출을 감소시키고, 인플레이션율을 하락시키는 효과가 있음을 보인다. This paper develops a dynamic general equilibrium model that incorporates an endogenous job destruction into the staggered price setting model of Calvo (1983). I do this in order to analyze the role of monetary policy in the determination of job destruction and unemployment. This paper then shows that an increase in the rate of interest increases the level of output and decreases that of job destruction

인공지능 기반 말하기 학습이 초등영어학습자들의 정의적 특성과 학습 만족도에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 AI 스피커를 활용한 영어 말하기 수업과 활동이 초등영어학습자들의 정의적 특성과 학습만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위함이다. 총 46명의 초등영어학습자가 실험에 참여하였으며 설문지를 사전-사후 배포하여 양적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀낸 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, AI 기반 영어 학습에 대한 전반적인 이해도 관련 수업 후 AI 기반 활동의 교육적 장점과 효능에 대한 인식이 넓어진 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, AI 기반 영어 말하기 활동에 대한 정의적 특성의 변화를 살펴본 결과 사전대비 사후의 평균값이 상승하고 대응표본 t-검정 결과 흥미도, 가치관, 태도 영역에 있어 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다. AI 활용 영어 학습에 대한 만족도를 살펴본 결과 실험 전에 비해 평균 만족도가 상승하고 특히 효능감, 학업성취감 및 몰입도면에서 높은 상승을 보였다. 끝으로 AI 기반 영어 학습의 만족도과 정의적 특성 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 AI 기반 영어 학습에 대한 만족도는 학습자들의 자신감, 흥미도, 태도와 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to explore any effects of primary English language learners’ affective factors and satisfaction through AI-based speaking activity. In order to answer these questions, a total number of 46 ELLs from a public elementary school participated in this research. Survey questionnaire on affective factors and learning satisfaction were distributed and the results were analyzed quantitatively. The findings are as follows. First, participants could expand their knowledge on AI-based activity towards its educational advantages and capability. Second, overall affective factors of the participants on AI-based activity changed positively, with the improvement of the mean score. The paired samples t-test showed that there was a significant difference among interest, value and attitude. Third, the satisfaction degree on AI-based learning escalated, particularly in the sense of efficacy, academic achievement and involvement. Lastly, it was revealed that the satisfaction degree was correlated with learners’ self-confidence, interest and attitude.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of English learning through social media on the perception and affective factors of college students. To this end, researchers examined whether the educational use of YouTube and KakaoTalk, popular among college students in Korea, differs according to English improvement, affective factors, and English level. The subjects of this study were 63 freshmen majoring in Medical Convergence, who were taking college English at C University located in Gangwon-do. An online questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected data were analyzed using Jamovi, a statistical program. The results are as follows. First, the participants positively changed the perception that the use of social media had on the overall improvement of English. Second, the affective domains such as self-confidence, attitudes, values, beliefs, and interests of the participants also changed positively. Finally, it was confirmed that social media has educational value regardless of English level.
