        화학적 기상 반응법에 의한 탄화규소 피복 흑연의 제조 (I)

        SiC conversion layer was fabricated by the chemical vapor reaction between graphite substrate and silica powder. The CVR process was carried out in nitrogen atmosphere at 175$0^{\circ}C$ and 185$0^{\circ}C$. From the reduction of silica powder with graphite substrate, the SiO vapor was created, infiltrated into the graphite substrate, then, the SiC conversion layer was formed from the vapor-solid reaction of SiO and graphite. In the XRD pattern of conversion layer, it was confirmed that 3C $\beta$-SiC phase was created at 175$0^{\circ}C$ and 185$0^{\circ}C$. Also, in the back scattered image of cross-sectional conversion layer, it was found that the conversion layer was easily formed at 185$0^{\circ}C$, the interface of graphite substrate and SiC layer was observed. It was though that the coke particle size and density of graphite substrate mainly affect the XRD pattern and microstructure of SiC conversion layer. In the oxidation test of 100$0^{\circ}C$, the SiC converted graphites exhibited good oxidation resistance compared with the unconverted graphites.

        Multi-layered Coating Deposited on PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) Bipolar Plates

        The surface region of commercial stainless steel 304 and 316 plates has been modified through deposition of the multi-layered coatings composed of titanium film (0.1 μm) and gold film (1-2 μm) by an electron beam evaporation method. XRD patterns of the stainless steel plates deposited with conductive metal films showed the peaks of the external gold film and the stainless steel substrate. Surface microstructural morphologies of the stainless steel bipolar plates modified with multi-layered coatings were observed by AFM and FE-SEM images. The stainless steel plates modified with 0.1 μm titanium film and 1 μm gold film showed microstructure of grains of under 100 nm diameter. The external surface of the stainless steel plates deposited with 0.1 μm titanium film and 2 μm gold film represented somewhat grain growth of Au grains in FE-SEM image. The electrical resistance and water contact angle of the stainless steel bipolar plates modified with multi-layered coatings were examined with the thickness of the gold film.         Surface modification of oxide phosphors using nano powders

        A red phosphor (Y2O3:Eu3+), a green phosphor (LaPO4:(Ce3+):Tb3+) and a blue phosphor (BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+) have been modified using colloidal suspensions containing La2O3 and Al2O3, Y2O3 nano particles, respectively. The zeta potential of the matrix phosphors and the nano particles were measured in determining the surface modification conditions. The optimum adsorption (pH) conditions, based upon the zeta potential-pH relations, were applied for the maximum electrostatic interaction between the oxide phosphors and nano particles. The microstructural morphologies of the oxide phosphors coated with the nano-sized oxide particles were observed by SEM images. The photoluminescence behavior and the color coordinates (chromaticity diagrams) of the oxide phosphors modified with nano particles were examined to compare with those of the raw phosphors.         H1N1 Influenza: Hospital Countermeasures and the Need for Planning

        Purpose: With a surge of H1N1 patients on November 2009, about 3 million confirmed or suspected cases and 140 deaths have been reported in Korea. The chaotic crisis brought on by patient overcrowding in emergency departments (EDs) nationwide was unique since the establishment of the countries’ emergency medicine system. This article analyzes the present status of H1N1 influenza A virus-induced ED overcrowding and the coping strategies of the affected hospitals, with the aim of guiding the formation of strategies to better handle future illness outbreaks. Methods: Telephone inquiries were made and e-mail questionnaires were distributed to general hospitals nationwide. The telephone inquiries were made twice, before and after the surge of flu-suspected-patients’ visits to EDs. The surveyed hospitals were arbitrarily selected, considering the degree of regional representation. Results: Coping with the surge of flu-suspected patients imposed a heavy burden of patient overcrowding on EDs. There was only palliative countermeasure and no exhaustive plans for influenza epidemic preparedness. Conclusion: Flu patient overcrowding imposed a heavy burden on the EDs of the surveyed hospitals, especially in the evening and overnight hours. Planning concerning community preparedness, public health communications, and work-force support is needed. New guidelines and strategies should be established to prevent ED overcrowding in future pandemics.

      • Full Authority Fly-By-Wire 헬리콥터 비행제어 시스템 통합 설계

        본 논문에서는 헬리콥터 조종성 국제규격인 ADS-33 을 만족하는 전자식 비행제어(Full Authority Fly-By-Wire) 헬리콥터 비행제어 시스템의 통합 설계를 위한 요구조건과 시스템 아키텍쳐 등에 대해 제안하였다. 고 신뢰성, 안전성을 보장하는 전자식 비행제어 시스템의 설계를 위한 필수 고려 요소와 통합 설계의 프로세스 등을 통해 헬리콥터 전자식 비행제어 시스템의 통합 설계에 대한 현 설계 결과와 향후 개발방향에 대해 소개한다. This paper proposes the requirements and the system architecture to integrate the helicopter flight control system design that satisfies the ADS -33 which is the rotorcraft design standard for the handling qualities requirements. Fly-By-Wire(FBW) flight control system is essential for high reliability and safety. To design FBW system, it is need to consider prior to the design and process to integrate the system. Through these requisites, we show the current design result for the integrated design of helicopter FBW flight control system. And then we introduce the development plan over the next few years.

        “예수님이라면 어떻게 할 것인가?”: Charles Sheldon의 대중적 종교소설, In His Steps에 대한 연구

        This paper examines a distinctive Christian slogan, “What would Jesus do?” which was emerged from Charles Sheldon’s social gospel novel, In His Steps (1897). This book eventually became one of the most influential bestseller during the last century. It is known that In His Steps has sold more than thirty million copies. However, this important Christian legacy has generally been ignored by the academic scholarship. The goal of this research is to rediscover a popular old evangelical heritage. How has this “sappy” “popular” novel received such a massive response from the ordinary readers generation by generation. I examine the history of the birth and reception of In His Steps, examining the Christian literary culture in author’s time. Also, I analyze and evaluate the contents and messages in this novel. What could be the author wanted to tell through this fictional narrative? Which portraits of Jesus are described in this book and in the slogan, “What would Jesus do?” Is it really possible for today’s Christians to follow in Jesus’ steps through asking this question, as the author suggested in the story? I discuss theological and ethical validity of Sheldon’s “imitation ethics.” I define that Sheldon’s message was an evangelical social gospel influenced by the holiness evangelicalism of his era. Sheldon believed that Jesus’ teaching should be applied to government and that the church has a definite responsibility for social reform. However, evangelical readers in the 20th century ignored the “social gospel” spirit in this book, only accepting his emphasis of personal morality and piety. However, in both Sheldon’s social gospel message and the recent evangelical movement, popular media are actively used to embrace the question, “What would Jesus do?” Sheldon aimed to “make religion interesting.” His writing of religious fiction was only for presenting and spreading gospel message, not creating interesting plots nor producing literary masterpiece. Scholars has criticized that Sheldon’s novels are too naive and sentimental with the lack of realistic anthropology. Surely his optimistic idealism overlooked the gray part of complex human life, simply dividing a (good) christian way from a (evil) secular way. However, his suggestion does not primarily aim for the possibility of following in Jesus’ steps, but for the motif of Christian life. It is a spiritual technique for devoted Christians with seriously asking what Jesus would do in one’s context. It is not for the “right” decisionmaking but for a disciplinary method, expecting the presence of the Holy Spirit. It is appropriate that Stanley Grenz expressed Sheldon’s imitation ethics as an “evangelical autonomy.” His imitation ethics observe that devotion to Christ unifies faithful Christians with their cosmic Master in the deepest aspect of their personhood. Sheldon strived for “social reform” through individual transformation, which is the very message of his religious fiction.

        RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링법으로 합성된 Ga-doped ZnO 박막의 특성평가

        RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링 공정에 의해 Ga-doped ZnO 박막이 O2 및 Ar 분위기 하에서 증착 조건에 따라 합성되었으며, N2 분위기에서, 600℃에서 급속열처리(RTA)를 실시하였다. 증착된 ZnO : Ga 박막에 대해 두께를 측정하였고, XRD 패턴 분석에 의해 결정상을 조사하였으며, FE-SEM, AFM 이미지에 의해 박막의 미세구조를 관찰하였다. O2 및 Ar 분위기 기체 종류별로 형성된 박막들의 증착 조건에 따라 X-선 회절 패턴의 (002)면의 세기는 상당한 차이를 나타냈다. O2 조건에서는 Ga doping이 이루어진 단일 박막의 경우에서는 강한 세기의 회절피크가 관찰되었다. O2 및 Ar 조건에서는 Ga doping이 이루어진 다층박막의 경우에서는 다소 약한 세기의 (002) 면의 피크만을 나타내었다. FE-SEM image에서는 박막의 표면입자의 크기는 두께가 증가함에 따라 입자크기가 다소 증가하는 것으로 관찰되었다. O2 및 Ar 분위기 조건 하에서, Ga doping이 이루어진 다층박막의 경우에서는, 비저항은 6.4 × 10-4Ω·cm을 나타냈고, O2 분위기 조건하에서, Ga doping이 이루어진 단일 박막의 경우에서는 저항값이 감소하였고, Ga-doped ZnO 박막의 두께가 2 ㎛로 증가하면서 저항이 감소하였으며, 1.0 × 10-3 Ω·cm의 비교적 낮은 비저항 값을 나타내었다. Ga-doped ZnO thin films by RF magnetron sputtering process were synthesized according to the deposition conditions of O2 and Ar atmosphere gases, and rapid heat treatment (RTA) was performed at 600℃ in an N2 atmosphere. The thickness of the deposited ZnO : Ga thin film was measured, the crystal phase was investigated by XRD pattern analysis, and the microstructure of the thin film was observed by FE-SEM and AFM images. The intensity of the (002) plane of the X-ray diffraction pattern showed a significant difference depending on the deposition conditions of the thin films formed by O2 and Ar atmosphere gas types. In the case of a single thin f ilm doped with Ga under O2 conditions, a strong diffraction peak was observed. Under O2 and Ar conditions, in the case of a multilayer thin film with Ga doping, only a peak on the (002) plane with a somewhat weak intensity was shown. In the FE-SEM image, it was observed that the grain size of the surface of the thin film slightly increased as the thickness increased. In the case of a multilayer thin film with Ga doping under O2 and Ar atmosphere conditions, the specific resistance was 6.4 × 10-4 Ω·cm. In the case of a single thin film with Ga doping under O2 atmosphere conditions, the resistance of the thin film decreased. The resistance decreased as the thickness of the Ga-doped ZnO thin film increased to 2 ㎛, showing relatively a low specific resistance of 1.0 × 10-3 Ω·cm.

        특종, 95개 논제: 종교개혁과 언론미디어 혁명 —손석희 저널리즘과 비교하여

        The Reformation of the 16th century was a complicated mixture of the contemporary social and religious context. Although Martin Luther had not intended to create a revolutional result within the Catholic Church, his “Ninety Five Thesis” became an incentive to a intellectual liberation of the whole European society. Luther’s protest was a kind of an accident, but his time made it a huge revolution. This result was possible through the contemporary media technology, the invention of the movable metal types. This thesis intends to analyze the 16th century Reformation in the light of media and journalism. First this thesis examines the public opinions in the 16th century and describes the distinctiveness of Luther’s ‘journalism’ which was totally based upon the Bible. Second, this thesis traces the progress of the press revolution of Gutenberg examining his life, since it was the decisive means of the Reformation. Third, I carefully analyze the ‘Ninety Five Thesis’ as a hot scoop, and describe its affection in those days. Finally, this thesis explains the meaning of Luther’s Reformation with the comparison to Sohn Suk–Hee’s journalism which has become an important cause of the historical denounce of Korean President Park Geun–Hye in 2017. Finally this thesis applies the whole lesson to the today’s Christian journalism in Korea. 종교개혁은 그저 교회 안의 구조적 분열을 의미하지만 않는다. 종교개혁은 당대의 문명의 분수령이 된 시대적 상황의 결과물인 동시에 루터가 전혀 의도한 바가 아닐지라도 정신의 해방이고 자유로운 지식의 소통의 선결요건이었다. 루터의 소시민적 저항은 일종의 ‘사고’였지만, 그의 시대는 이를 ‘사건’으로 만들었다. 그리고 그 사고를 사건이 되도록 이끄는 힘이 미디어에 있었다. 본 논문은 언론과 미디어라는 관점에서 16세기 사건을 조망한다. 루터 당시 시대적 변화상황 속에 교회가 조장하고 통제한 여론 가운데 당대 인문주의자들의 비판적 글들을 소개하며 이와 구별된 루터 ‘저널리즘’의 특성과 사상적 배경을 기술한다. 두 번째로 본 논문은 종교개혁의 전제요 환경이 되었던 당대 미디어 혁명을 구텐베르크의 삶의여정과 인쇄업의 동향, 그리고 종교개혁으로 이어진 발자취를 따라가 본다. 세 번째로는 당대 세상을 발칵 뒤집어 놓은 특종으로서 ‘95개 논제’의 내용과 성격, 그리고 이후의 파장에 대해 고찰한다. 마지막으로 오늘로 돌아와 2017년 대통력 탄핵의 도화선이 되었던 손석희 저널리즘을 분석하고 이를 통해 루터의 종교개혁의 의미를 저널리즘의 시각으로 재조명하고 우리 시대의 교회에 적용해 본다. 아마도 새로운 시대의 종교개혁은 새로운 미디어 환경을 기반으로 이루어질 것이다. 그리고 그 핵심에는 단지 교회의 문제점들에 대한 현상 비판을 넘어 복음에 대한 근본적 이해가 바탕을 이뤄야 할 것이다.
