The concept of health has existed through the history of mankind; the recognition and adaptation of such concept has transformed over time with the development of culture throughout the age of humans. These concept wasn’t absent in the content East Asian Medicines, which is represented by Huangdi’s Internal Classic. However, due to imperialism and colonial polocies in the past, biomedical concepts of health has been accepted with force. The concept of “health” in pathological medicines of biomedicine refers to the of anatomical and biological completeness of the body system. In East Asia, Korean especially, a number of concepts regarding these subjects has been informed by Japanese physicians, such as Hukujawa Yukichi. Understanding the idea of body in the angle of philosophy, history, and medicine in the cultural area of East Asia is necessary.

This research focused on the battery-less real time tire pressure monitoring system by the use of a SAW device and micromachined pressure sensor. A SAW device acts as a wireless transponder without power sources such as battery, wired DC power, etc. Research results represent the optimistic feasibilities of intelligent tire sensor which should be operated without battery. For developing a SAW based passive radio tire pressure sensor and a monitoring system, we developed sensor systems such as a micro-machined touch-down mode capacitive pressure, low insertion loss SAW transponder and a high gain(over 77㏈) single heterodyne coherent dynamic rf. reader system with high speed(100MIPS) MCU based ECU, etc. The outstanding research results of developed passive radio sensor and reader system were the detection range about 3 meters without violation of international regulation, which is below 10㎽ transmitting power level at the frequency of 433㎒ ISM(Industrial, scientific and medical) band, and the adequate micromachined capacitive sensor's capacitance change if using touch-mode method. The normal capacitive pressure sensor's FOM(Figure of merit) is 1 or less. However, developed touch-mode capacitive pressure sensor's FOM was 4.This result shows large SNR affecting long range detection capability.

도로 환경 모니터링을 위한 센서 노드의 전력원으로 유도풍을 이용한 압전에너지 하베스팅 기술은 기존 재생 에너지의 설치 및 작동 조건에 영향을 받지 않고, 도로상에 주오염원인 자동차에서 발생되는 폐에너지를 활용하는 친환경적 에너지 순환시스템을 구현하는 핵심 요소이다. 차량 유도풍에 의해 발생되는 풍압으로 도로 상의 구조물에 진동을 유발한다. 이 때 발생한 진동 에너지는 압전체를 통해 전기 에너지로 변환, 저장할 수 있다. 이렇게 저장된 에너지는 센서의 구동과 무선 데이터 송수신을 위한 센서 노드의 전력원으로 사용함으로써 별도의 전력원이 필요없게 된다. 본 연구에서는 60km/h로 주행하는 한 대의 차량에 의해 2.7m/s의 유도풍이 발생하여 0.6g로 도로 상의 구조물에 에너지를 전달하게 된다. 전달된 에너지가 압전체를 통해 15uJ 전기에너지로 저장된다.

This paper carried out the comparative analysis on ground impedance of a carbon block and a copper rod. Two types of grounding electrode were compared ; a carbon block (L : 1 m, ${\Phi}$ : 245 mm) buried at a depth of 0.8 m and a three-linked copper rod (L : 1 m, ${\Phi}$ : 10 mm) of equilateral triangles with 1 m spacing. Ground impedance depending on applied current source was evaluated by the application of a sine wave current with 60 Hz ~ 3.5 MHz, a fast-rise pulse with rising time of 200 ns, a standard lightning impulse of $8/20{\mu}s$ and a 600 Hz square wave. Ground impedance for both electrodes were almost the same value below 100 kHz, and increased rapidly afterwards. The maximum ground impedance appeared $400{\Omega}$ at around 1.5 MHz. Ground impedance of the carbon block was lower at the square wave and was higher at fast-rise pulse than that of the copper rod. Also, ground impedance as ages showed no difference for the last 8 months. From the results, it is likely that ground performance for both electrodes shows no difference against commercial frequency and lightning impulse current, while the copper rod shows better performance against a fast-rise pulse with rise-time of a few hundred ns.

70% of energy exhausted in the types of energy losses, such as vibration, thermal and noise, during the vehicle driving. This study suggests energy conversion system with piezoelectric materials using vibration that is a kind of energy losses. Energy conversion system is validated in the lab with a shaker by the measured acceleration data for driving on the road. The results of driving acceleration are 0.4g at 10㎐. Energy conversion system is designed to own the natural frequency at 10㎐. Experiments result in 150V(pk-pk) and 25㎽(rms) at 0.4g, 10㎐. Power consumption for wireless communication and data transmission is about 45㎽. Suggested energy conversion system can power a sensor system to transmit acquisition data from sensors every two seconds. Therefore, this study is meaningful access to adopt wireless sensor system inside the vehicle.
