명상과 선, 그 한계와 가능성에 대한 일고

This paper, through access to concepts and the outer edge of meditation and Seon have focused on to consider the two relationships. At first, We need to understand the original meaning of Seon and in this context Seon and meditation has a different meaning, but can be understood to include a range of Buddhist meditation. In addition, I examined the limits Ganhwaseon the standpoint of popularization. Ganhwaseon is subject to the execution and sect than keep in mind the primary problems such as psychological stability. However, psychotherapy of meditation emphasis on primary targets such as happiness, stress reduction etc. The basic point of view of Seon is to focus on daily life, Mahayana spirit, the match of execution and life, and it is possible to help to overcome the problem of many meditation programs have. 본고는 명상과 선이 가지고 있는 개념 및 외연에 대한 접근을 통하여 그 둘의 관계를 고찰하는데 초점을 두었다. 우선 넓은 의미에서 명상의 개념 안에 선을 포함시켜 이해하는 것은 타당하지만 잘못하면 선이 가지고 있는 본래의 의미가 퇴색될 수 있음을 살펴보았다. 그리고 선은 남방불교의 명상과는 다른 의미를 갖고 있으면서도 불교 명상의 범위 안에 포함시켜 이해할 수 있음도 살펴보았다. 또한 현대의 다양한 명상프로그램의 입장에서 간화선이 가지고 있는 한계를 대중성이라는 입장에서 고찰하였다. 간화선은 수행을 통하여 얻어지는 건강, 심리적 안정 등의 일차적 문제를 염두에 두기 보다는 종파적 한계와 수행의 대상이 특정 근기나 대상에 치우쳐 있다. 마지막으로 현대의 다양한 명상프로그램은 심신의 건강, 행복, 스트레스 해소 등의 일차적 목표에 치중하여 많은 명상의 부작용에 노출되어 있다. 선의 기본 관점은 불교의 근본 목표를 추구하며, 일상성을 중시하며, 자리이타의 대승정신을 추구하며, 수행과 삶의 일치를 추구하는 것으로 현대의 범람하는 다양한 명상프로그램들이 가진 한계를 극복하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

랜덤 위상변조가 가미된 이진 진폭 데이터 영상의 홀로그래픽 저장 특성

본 논문에서는 뒤틀린 니매틱 액정디스플레이를 가변적인 위상마스크로 사용하여 기존의 2진 데이터 영상에 위상변조를 추가하는 방법을 제안한다 이를 위해 액정디스플레이의 위상변조특성을 이론 및 실험적으로 조사하였고, 입사빔 세기가 매우 커지면 위상변조 특성이 변하는 현상이 존재함을 실험적으로 보였다. 위상변조가 가미된 2진 데이터 영상의 저장특성을 실험적으로 조사하기 위해 여덟 장의 홀로그램을 각다중 을 사용해서 Dupont 사의 광폴리머의 한 지점에 기록하였다. 위상변조를 사용하여 Fourier 면 홀로그램을 기록할 경우, 기존의 진폭변조방식만 사용하는 경우에 비해 빔세기 균일도를 높일 수 있어서, 같은 조건에서 더 많은 홀로그램을 기록할 수 있음을 보였다. We propose a method to add phase-modulation to binary amplitude data pages using a twisted-nematic liquid crystal display as a dynamic phase mask. For this, the phase modulation characteristics of the display were examined both theoretically and experimentally, and an unexpected abnormal phenomenon was found experimentally in which the modulation property changed as the incident beam intensity increased. To investigate the characteristics of holographically storing the binary data images, eight pages of holograms were stored at one spot of in un-thick Dupont's photopolymer with angle multiplexing. When phase-modulation-added pages were stored at the Fourier plane, the uniformity of the signal beam at the plane was improved, and thus more holograms can be recorded with our method, compared with the conventional case of using only binary amplitude modulation under the same condition.

임의의 스핀을 갖는 중입자의 붕괴

Understanding strong interactions at low energies requires precise measurements of the properties of the particles whose existence has been confirmed and a search for new particles whose existence is predicted by phenomenological models. For this purpose, photon-nucleon and nucleonnucleon scattering processes are used in world-class accelerator facilities, and recent experiments have produced very precise data on various physical quantities. Therefore, previously developed theoretical tools need to be extended to understand the production mechanisms and to analyze the experimental data. In particular, development of the theory on high-spin resonances has been emphasized. In this paper, we develop a theory for baryons of arbitrary spins based on the Rarita-Schwinger formalism. We obtain the propagators of arbitrary spin fields, as well as the effective Lagrangian which describes the interactions of arbitrary spin baryons with the pion-nucleon and the vector-meson-nucleon channels. The formulas for the corresponding decay widths are obtained. 낮은 에너지 영역에서 강한 상호작용을 이해하기 위해서는 현재 존재가 확인된 입자의 성질을더 정밀히 측정하는 것과 함께 여러 가지 현상론적인 모형에 의해 그 존재가 예측되는 입자를실험적으로 발견하는 것이 중요하다. 이를 위해 광자-핵자 또는 핵자-핵자의 산란 반응 등이 널리 쓰이고 있으며최근의 실험은 과거에 비해 매우 다양한 물리량을 측정하며 또한 아주 정밀한 측정 결과를 얻고 있다. 따라서 산란 반응의 메커니즘과 실험 데이터의 분석을 위해 기존의 이론을 확장시킬 필요가 있으며특히 반응의 중간 단계에서 생성되는 입자들 사이의상호 작용과 붕괴를 기술하는 라그랑지언과 이런 입자의 전파인자에 대한 이론이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 Rarita-Schwinger 체계를 이용하여 지금까지 잘 정립되어 있는 스핀이 3/2인입자의 장에 대한 이론을 확장하여 스핀 5/2와 7/2인 입자의 라그랑지언과 전파인자에대한 이론을 수립하고 파이온을 포함하는 붕괴와 벡터 메존을 포함하는 붕괴에 대한 붕괴너비를계산하였다.

명상 수행은 모든 심리적 문제를 해결해줄 수 있는가? - 명상의 부작용과 영적 우회에 대한 불교 명상적 입장을 중심으로

본 논문은 심리치료적 명상이라는 제한된 관점에서 명상 수행을 이해하고자 할 때 발생할 수 있는 오해와 한계 등을 극복하자고 하는 측면과 거꾸로 명상이 모든 심리적 문제를 해결해줄 수 있다는 착시 현상에 대한 담론이다. 이를 위해 ‘명상의 부작용’과 ‘영적 우회’에 대한 이해를 중심으로 살펴보았다. ‘명상의 부작용’은 명상을 해 나가는 과정에서 생겨날 수 있는 여러 심신 현상을 말하는 것으로 중립적인 개념이며 자연스러운 심리적 과정이다. 그러나 이를 잘못 이해하면 심리치료적 명상에서 나타나는 혹은 종교와는 분리된 형태로 명상을 시도하면서 나타나는 문제점 등으로 개념을 축소시킬 수 있다. 또한 ‘영적 우회’의 역동적 구조를 중심으로 회피적 태도를 직접 다루지 않고 영적 수행을 하는 것은 영적 이외의 삶과 통합되기 어렵다는 것을 살펴보았다. 그러나 불교 수행의 입장에서 심리적 문제를 서구 심리학의 이원적 개념에 가두지 않으면 수준 높은 명상 체험을 하고도 겪을 수 있는 심리적 문제를 해결할 수 있을 것이다. 심리치료적 명상과 불교 수행의 관계를 순환적이며 발전적 입장에서 고려하면 상호 보완적이며 통합적인 모델이 제시될 수 있을 것이다. This paper discusses whether meditation practice can solve all psychological problems. Attempts were made to investigate the misunder standings and limitations that may arise when one tries to understand meditation practice from a limited viewpoint of psychotherapeutic meditation to discuss about the optical illusion that meditation can solve all psychological problems. For this, I focused on understanding 'side effects of meditation' and 'spiritual bypassing'. First, I proposed that the side effects of meditation is not a negative concept but a neutral concept. It can be understood that meditation alone can not be used for mental treatment, but for the purpose of facilitating psychological treatment, it is useful to impart some understanding and practice of meditation, rather than pointing out the limitation of meditation. In this sense, the side effects of meditation is not necessarily a negative concept but can be understood as a natural psychological process that can occur when performing meditation. In addition, I discussed the aspect of spiritual bypassing which can be understood from a positive perspective, focusing on the dynamic structure of spiritual detour. It is difficult to integrate with spiritual life other than spiritual practice without directly dealing with evasive attitudes. In Buddhist practice, however, it is difficult to distinguish the difference between psychological problems and agony. Therefore, psychological problems can be solved by meditating on issues related to spiritual bypassing. Especially, if the psychological problems are not confined to the dualistic concept of Western psychology in the aspect of Buddhist practice, the psychological problems that can be solved even if they experience a high level of meditation will be. However, for this purpose, it is necessary to emphasize the process of awakening the bodhi-mind and the Rules of discipline. Therefore, considering the relationship between psychotherapeutic meditation and Buddhist practice in a cyclical and developmental perspective, a complementary and integrated model can be suggested

코로나19 시대, 선불교는 어떠한 의미를 갖는가 : 법계(法界), 안심(安心), 사회적 마음챙김을 중심으로

본 연구는 코로나19 시대를 살아가는 우리에게 선불교가 갖는 의미를 크게 세 가지 관점에서 논의하였다. 첫째는 현상적인 관점에서 코로나19가 갖는 의미를 감염과 연결의 관점에서 살펴보았다. 선불교적 관점에서 모든 존재는 법계의 상호관계성을 벗어나지 않는다. 특히 선불교에서는 이러한 법계를 평상심을 통해 구체적이며 역동적인 모습으로 표상한다. 둘째는 심리적 관점에서 코로나19로 인한 불안의 문제를 선불교의 안심을 통해 논의하였다. 현재 코로나19로 인해 불안, 두려움, 분노 등이 급증한 것은 사실이나 이러한 부정적 정서는 인간 실존의 단면으로서 늘 존재하였다. 선불교에는 이러한 근원적 불안을 ‘안심’을 통해 치유하는 방법을 제시하였다. 셋째는 코로나19 시대에 선불교가 가진 주관주의의 문제를 해체하는 방법으로 ‘사회적 마음챙김’을 제안하였다. ‘사회적 마음챙김’이라는 개념은 로널드 퍼서(Ronald Purser)가 기존 마음챙김 담론의 한계를 극복하는 대안으로 강조한 것이다. 사회적 마음챙김은 주관주의의 문제를 극복할 뿐 아니라 사회적 참여와 실천을 중시한다. 현재 코로나19의 상황에서 선불교 역시 사회적 마음챙김이 가진 의미를 통해 선불교의 고유한 역사적 지향점과 가치 그리고 삶의 방식을 회복해야 할 것이다. This study discussed the meaning of Seon Buddhism for us living in the era of COVID-19 from three perspectives. First, I discussed the meaning of COVID-19 from a phenomenal point of view in terms of infection and connection. From the perspective of Seon Buddhism, all beings do not deviate from the interrelationships of the Dharma dh tu. In Seon Buddhism, in particular, this Dharma dh tu is represented in a concrete and dynamic form through a One’s original mind. Second, from a psychological point of view, the issue of anxiety caused by COVID-19 was discussed through a peaceful or stable mind of Seon Buddhism. It is true that anxiety, fear, and anger have increased rapidly due to the current COVID-19, but these negative emotions have always existed as a cross-section of human existence. Seon Buddhism suggested a way to heal this fundamental anxiety through ‘a peaceful or stable mind’. Third, ‘social mindfulness’ was proposed as a way to dismantle the problem of subjectivism of Seon Buddhism in the era of COVID-19. The concept of ‘social mindfulness’ was emphasized by Ronald Purser as an alternative that overcomes the limitations of existing mindfulness discourse. Social mindfulness not only overcomes the problem of subjectivism, but also emphasizes social participation and practice. In the current situation of COVID-19, Seon Buddhism will also need to recover the unique historical direction, value, and way of life of Seon Buddhism through the meaning of social mindfulness.
