주한 외국인 유학생의 주거유형 선택 및 주생활특성 조사 연구

The purpose of this study is to find out the selection of housing type and the characteristics of dwelling of foreign students' residence in order to provide some information for better housing plans for foreign students in Korea. To analyze characteristics of dwelling, a questionnaire survey was conducted with 171 students who study in the university located in seoul, Korea. The results are summarized as follows: Overseas students in Korea can get from their house to school within 30 minutes and they spend more than 9 hours a day at home on average. Housing is one of the most important factors for oversea students. For the dormitory group, they chose their houses based on fee, distance from the school, stability, etc. The lodging group, chose their houses based on fee, distance from school, and Korean culture experience. The Go-Si-Won group chose their houses based on fee, distance from the school, privacy and so on.
연령별 온라인시민참여에 관한 연구 - 인터넷이용능력의 영향을 중심으로 -

대의민주주의의 대안으로 최근 그 중요성이 부각되고 있는 온라인시민참여는 비교적 젊은 연령층을 중심으로 참여가 활성화되어 있어 모든 연령층을 아우르지 못한다는 비판이 존재한다. 본 연구는 새로운 시민참여의 수단으로 자리 잡고 있는 온라인시민참여의 한정적 참여 문제에 대해 문제의식을 가지고 실제로 온라인시민참여에 있어 특정한 연령 효과가 존재하는지 실증적으로 검증해보고자 하였다. 또한 연령과 온라인시민참여의 관계 속에 연령과 음(-)의 상관관계를 보이는 인터넷이용능력이 온라인시민참여에 오히려 강력한 영향을 주는 요인일 수 있음을 가정하여, 온라인시민참여에 대한 인터넷이용능력의 영향도 검증해보고자 하였으며, 해당 분석은 다중회귀분석을 통해 실시하였다. 연구결과, 연령이 높을수록 온라인시민참여 수준이 저조한 것으로 확인되었지만, 이러한 효과는 또다른 독립변수인 인터넷이용능력 변수를 모형에 추가하였을 때, 해당 연령변수들의 온라인시민참여 수준에 갖는 통계적 유의성이 모두 사라지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 통해, 온라인시민참여 수준에 대한 연령효과는 존재하지만, 이는 연령과 음(-)의 상관관계를 보이는 인터넷이용능력의 요인의 영향이 오히려 더욱 강력한 것으로 판단되며, 인터넷 이용능력의 일종의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 따라, 상대적으로 고연령층의 인터넷이용능력을 증진시킨다면 온라인시민참여에 있어 모든 연령층의 참여를 제고시킬 수 있을 것이라는 정책적 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다. Recently, Online civic participation has become more important and has been considered as an alternative of representative democracy. However it is mostly activated by relatively young age group, so it is often criticized that it could not encompass all ages` participation. In this regard, this study tries to empirically analyze the age effect on online civic participation. Furthermore in the relation between age and level of online civic participation, internet literacy which has negative correlation on age could be the powerful factor on level of online civic participation, so it also analyze the effect of internet literacy with multiple regression model. Analysis results that people who have higher ages tend to participate less in online. However, the statistical significances of age variables disappear when internet literacy variable is added to each model. From the result, it can be concluded that the age effect exists in online participation, rather internet literacy is more powerful factor on level of online civic participation. Therefore this study give policy implication that if it is possible to enhance internet literacy level in higher age groups, the level of online civic participation in all ages might be improved.
소 결핵 진단을 위한 인터페론감마 검사 키트의 성능 비교 평가

In Korea, bovine tuberculosis (bTB) is a representative zoonotic disease that causes considerable economic loss. In determining the positive bTB, the ELISA method for examining the amount of interferon- gamma (IFN-γ) is included in Korea’s diagnostic standard method. Recently, commercially available BIONOTE TB-Feron ELISA Plus (TB-Feron Plus) that detects IFN-γ has been introduced. However, since the scientific basis for the performance is limited, we evaluated performance by comparing it with the results of another IFN-γ ELISA assay kit (BOVIGAM <sup>Ⓡ</sup> ) certified by Office International des Epizooties. In our research, 42 positive blood samples preliminarily tested with a tuberculin skin test and/or BOVIGAM <sup>Ⓡ</sup> and 54 negative blood samples collected from three bTB free farms were subjected to IFN-γ assay using the TB-Feron Plus and the BOVIGAM <sup>Ⓡ</sup> , respectively. The result shows that the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 81.0% (34/42), 100% (54/54), 91.7% (88/96) in TB-Feron Plus kit and 78.6% (33/42), 100% (54/54), 90.6% (87/96) in BOVIGAM <sup>Ⓡ</sup> kit, respectively. Moreover, the overall accordance percentage of the two kits was 99.0% (95/96) and there was almost perfect agreement between two assays (Kappa=0.977, P<0.0001). Furthermore, additional studies confirmed that elevated lymphocyte numbers in blood did not interfere with the results of the TB-Feron Plus kit. And, delayed time from sampling to culture decreased the optical density (OD) value. Therefore, we concluded that the TBFeron Plus kit was not inferior to BOVIGAM <sup>Ⓡ</sup> in performance. High lymphocyte numbers in blood did not impact on TB-Feron Plus results, while delayed time before culture interfered with OD value.
