원발성 간암세포암종의 원격전이는 예후가 불량하며 전이병소에 대한 고식적인 수술적 절제, 방사선 치료, 항암화학요법 등과 이들의 병행치료로 효과가 있다고 보고하고는 있으나, 본 증례에서와 같이 좌측 골반부, 우측 견갑부의 골 전이와 폐 전이, 복강내 전이 등 다발성 원격전이된 환자에서의 보고는 없는 상황에서 적극적이며 주기적인 방사선 치료로 비교적 장기 생존을 하며 치료 효과가 있었던 1 예를 보고하는 바이며, 향후에도 적극적이며 다양한 치료 방법들에 대한 보고들이 계속되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. Primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is one of the most prevalent cancers in the world, particularly in Asia and parts of Africa. Extrahepatic metastasis by blood stream dissemination are encountered in lung. bone, adrenal glands, pancreas, kidney and the spleen. The prognosis of extrahepatic metastasis from HCC remains lethal and average survival time after the time of diagnosis is under 6 months but appropriate local surgical resection of the metastatic region and systemic control with chemotheraphy and radiotheraphy can result in improved quality of survival. We report the case who had been alive 11 months after left iliac bone and then lung, right shoulder joint and peritoneum metastasis with only irradiation.
현탁제 제조공정에서 발생된 거품이 완제품 주성분 함량에 미치는 영향

This study aimed to investigate the influence of foam generated in the pharmaceutical suspension manufacturing process on finished products’ active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) contents. In particular, we aimed to evaluate the possibility of having a higher API content in pharmaceutical suspensions containing a large amount of foam. We also investigated content analysis results based on prior studies related to the attachment of solid particles to bubbles. Each test tube was agitated at 1,200 rpm for 60 min to generate bubbles. To measure the API content, samples were collected from each layer (lower, middle, upper, foam). The API content analysis results were further analyzed by general properties (pH and density), surface hydrophobicity (contact angle), and morphological properties (particle size and shape). The API content in five out of seven pharmaceutical suspensions increased toward the upper layer, and the API concentration of the foam layer was the highest. The other two suspensions showed an opposite trend. The contact angle of API particles of products with an increased toward the upper layer was greater than 62o, the particle size exceeded 4μm, and the particles were needle-shaped and had angular fragments. Our findings indicate that API particles are highly concentrated in the foam generated during the manufacturing process depending on various properties, including surface hydrophobicity, particle size, and shape. Therefore, improvements in formulations and the manufacturing process of pharmaceutical suspensions such as foam suppression or breakage rather than foam removal from the intermediate products are required.
한국 상수리나무(Quercus acutissima)림의 분포와 군집구조 분석

본 연구는 우리나라에 분포하고 있는 상수리나무림을 대상으로 식물사회학적 조사를 통하여 상수리나무림의 군집을 분류하고 각 군집간의 상관관계, 잠재자연식생, 입지에 따른 상수리나무의 분포 양상 등을 분석하여 한국 상수리나무림의 특성을 밝히고자 한다. 1. 한국 상수리나무림의 군집구분은 1군단, 3군집, 3아군집, 3전형아군집으로 유형화되었다. Ⅰ. 상수리나무군단(Quercion acutissimae) A. 상수리나무-졸참나무군집(Quercetum serrato-acutissimae ass. nov.) A-1. 갈참나무아군집(Quercetum serrato-acutissimae quercetosum subass. nov.) A-2. 전형아군집(Quercetum serrato-acutissimae typicum subass. nov.) B. 상수리나무-신갈나무군집(Quercetum mongolicoacutissimae asso. nov.) B-1. 갈참나무아군집(Quercetum mongolico-acutissimae quercetosum subass. nov.) DECORANA에 의한 요인분석 결과 상수리나무-졸참나무군집은 저지대 산지, 상수리나무-신갈나무군집은 상대적으로 해발이 높은 지역의 산지대, 상수리나무-서어나무군집은 주로 계곡부에 형성되어 있음을 입증하고 있다. 그러나 각 군집들이 서로 혼재되어 있는 경우가 많아 그다지 명료하게 나타나지는 않았다. 이러한 결과는 상수리나무림의 대부분이 저지대 및 농경지 주변의 교란요인이 심한 지역에 분포하고 있기 때문으로 사료된다. 3. 상수리나무림의 잠재자연식생을 추정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) Quercetum serrato-acutissimae asso. nov. → Quercus serrata-Quercus aliena Community → Quercus serrata Community 2) Quercetum mongolico-acutissimae ass. nov. → Quercus mongolica-Quercus aliena Community → Quercus mongolica Community 3) Carpino-Quercetum acutissimae asso. nov. → Carpinus laxiflora-Quercus aliena Community → Carpinus laxiflora Community. This study has targeted Quercus acutissima forests in Korea and has classified the association between Quercus acutissima forests by using the phytosociological method. In addition, the correlation between each association, distribution, potential natural vegetation, and aspect of Quercus acutissima forest according to location have been analyzed to examine the characteristics of the Korean Quercus acutissima forests. Through factor analysis of DECORANA, it was revealed that Quercetum serrato-acutissimae forms in the basal zones of mountains, Quercetum mongolico-acutissimae is formed in the highlands, in the relatively high mountain area, and Carpino-Quercetum acutissimae is mainly distributed in valleys. However, this phenomenon is not very obvious, as each association structure is often mixed up. This result is caused by inhomogeneity of the Quercus acutissima forests, and most of it is distributed in basal zones or around farmlands where there are severe disturbance factors. The proposed potential natural vegetation of the Quercus acutissima forests in Korea is as follows; Quercetum serrato-acutissimae → Quercus aliena-Quercus serrata community → Quercus serrata community, Quercetum mongolico-acutissimae → Quercus aliena-Quercus mongolica community → Quercus mongolica community, Carpino-Quercetum acutissimae → Quercus aliena-Carpinus laxiflora community → Carpinus laxiflora community.
Haptic 시스템을 이용한 뇌졸중 환자의 상지 재활 효과 분석

For rehabilitation of stroke patients the repeat training is needed. However it is difficult to keep up the training for the patients because it is boring. Even if the patients continue the training there is no objective way to evaluate the remedial value. Recently there is a new attempt to apply the haptic system to the rehabilitation of the stroke patients. In this study a haptic system is applied to the rehabilitation of the stroke patients. Through the comparative analysis of the experimental data for the normal people and patients, the validity of the proposed rehabilitation was verified. In conclusion, the patient's condition at 8 days after the experiment has demonstrated the level of ADL.

This study was tried to interpret the important major factors controlling some physicochemical properties by comparing mineralogical and physicochemical characteristics such as pH, cation exchange capacity. Methylene Blue adsorption amount, swelling, viscosity, strength (compressional and tensile), and surface area etc. Investigated bentonite samples are five Korean samples from Dusan, Naa, Oksan, Dongyang, and Yeonil deposits and two Japanese bentonites from Tsukinuno and Tomioka deposits which were formed under a similar geological environment of the Tertiary basin. Tsukinuno bentonite is only natural Na-type bentonite and the others are all Ca-type bentonites. Most of the properties are not explained by the montmorillonite content only though the most important factor controlling the physicochemical properties is the montmorillonite content The layer charge of montmorillonite will strongly control cation exchange capacity and Methylene Blue adsorption. Zeolite bearing bentonites show the strong alkaline character and causes the increase of cation exchange capacity, however decrease swelling, viscosity and strengths. Pyrite bearing bentonites decrease green compressional strength and wet tensile strength. The exchangeable interlayer cations control some physicochemical properties. Na-type bentonite than Ca-type shows more strong alkaline caracter and much more advanced swelling and viscosity. Also the size and thickness of montmorillonite flakes seem to control some physicochemical properties. Bentonite mainly composed of montmorillonite of very thin and large flakes is characterized by the very high surface area, cation exchange capacity, viscosity, swelling, Methylene Blue adsorption, green compressional strength and wet tensile strength. Domestic Dusan bentonite shows the most excellent physicochemical properties, which is due to the high content(84%) and very well crystallinity of montmorillonite.
