프리폴리머형 폴리우레탄 수지의 합성 및 물성에 관한 연구

The polyurethane resin was prepared by the reaction of toluene diisocyanate(TDI), polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate(Crude MDI) and Polypropylene glycol(PPG). The effects of polyol ratio, isocyanate ratio and reaction condition on physical properties of prepolymer type polyurethane resin were investigated experimentally. PPG’s with large molecular mass show high rate of stable reaction when a few amount of TDI are added in the absence of catalyst at 40℃ and, then a catalyst is added after the temperature is risen to 60℃. PPG 400 displayed a high rate of reaction when TDI drops were added at 40℃ since its molecular mass is relatively small. The viscosity of the reactants increased in proportion to the content of PPG with less molecular mass, and decreased in proportion to the content of phosphoric acid. As the content of low-molecular-mass glycol and catalyst in the mixture increased, the length of reaction shortened. Curing time decreased with increasing NCO/OH ratio and increasing polyol content. Adhesive strength reached its peak value due to the increasd of crosslink density caused by PPG 400 if at least more than 30% (wt.%) of PPG 400 was used until the NC0/0H ratio reached 2.0. The adhesive strength weakened after the peak point.
심한 구역반사를 보이는 환자에서 문진표와 행동 요법을 이용한 임플란트 고정성 보철 수복 증례

Although gag reflex is an essential function and a useful physiological defense mechanism, it can become an obstacle in a dental treatment. In this case, a questionnaire was designed and used in consultations to objectify the factors associated with gag reflex. Based on the questionnaire, various treatment protocols were planned, such as behavioral control, which is a systematic desensitization that adapts by placing dental instruments in the oral cavity, and habit control to eliminate vomiting habits after drinking. Except for the placement of the implant fixture under general anesthesia, all restoration procedures were performed in the outpatient clinic in the same manner as the conventional implant fixed prosthetic restoration. The systematic desensitization and behavior technique were repeated until the patient was able to endure discomfort and relieve gag reflex in dental treatment. The patient was successfully received the implant-fixed prosthetic restoration in the partial edentulous region. 구역반사는 필수적인 기능이며 유용한 생리적 방어기전이지만 심한 구역 반사는 보철 치료의 진행을 어렵게 한다. 본 증례는 구역반사를 일으키는 요인을 파악하고 이를 해결하기 하여 문진표와 환자와의 상담을 통해 환자의 구역반사를 일으키는 요인을 객관화하였다. 이에 따른 구강 내 치과용 기구를 위치시킴으로써 적응하는 체계적 탈감작인 행동조절 및 음주 후 구토습관을 없애는 습관조절 등 다양한 해소방안을 계획하였다. 전신마취하 임플란트 고정체 식립을 제외하고 모든 수복 절차는 통상적인 임플란트 고정성 보철 수복과 동일하게 외래에서 진행하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 구역반사에 의한 불편감이 감소되었고, 환자의 부분 무치악 부위에 임플란트 고정성 보철 수복을 성공적으로 수행하였기에 이를 보고하는 바이다.

Adenoid cystic carcinoma(ACC) is an uncommon tumor of the head and neck. It is one of the most common malignant tumor of the salivary glands. Although ACC has clear pathologic features, it can be diagnosed as a benign lesion in terms of cytological and radiologic aspects. In this paper, we report a rare case of ACCACC on tongue that is diagnosed as ACC but appears as a benign lesion in cytological and radiologic views.
아미노산 곁사슬 치환 폴리아스팔트산계 생분해성 고흡수성 젤의 제조와 물성

생체적합하고 생분해성을 갖는 폴리아미노산의 하나인 폴리아스팔트산은 팹타이드 결합으로 이루어진 수용성 합성고분자로서 의료용 소재 및 다양한 응용분야의 연구가 흥미있게 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 아미노산인 GABA(γ-aminobutylic acid)와 β-alanine을 곁사슬에 도입한 폴리아스팔트산 유도체 고분자를 제조하고, 이들을 서로 다른 함량의 ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether(EGDE)를 사용하여 가교시켜 고흡수성 하이드로젤을 제조하였 다. 각 하이드로젤에 대해 증류수와 PBS 용액에서 기본적인 팽윤물성, 젤의 가수분해 거동과 모폴로지를 조사하였 다. 제조한 하이드로젤은 수용액에서 pH와 염(salt) 농도에 의존하는 민감성 팽윤거동을 보였으며, 또한 비교적 빠 른 가수분해 거동을 나타내었다. The biocompatibility and biodegradability of poly(amino acid) make them ideal candidates for many bio-related applications. Poly(aspartic acid), PASP, is one of synthetic water-soluble polymers with proteinlike structure, and has been extensively explored for the potential industrial and biomedical applications due to its biodegradable, biocompatible and pH-responsive properties. In this work, amino acid-conjugated PASPs were prepared by aminolysis reaction onto polysuccinimide (PSI) using γ-aminobutylic acid(GABA) and β- alanine methyl ester and a subsequent hydrolysis process. Their chemical gels were prepared by crosslinking reaction with ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (EGDE). The hydrogels were investigated for their basic swelling behavior, hydrolytic degradation and morphology. The crosslinked gels showed a responsive swelling behavior, which was dependent on pH and salt concentration in aqueous solution, and relatively fast hydrolytic degradation.
