        영ㆍ유아의 연령과 성별에 따른 식행동과 식품 기호도에 관한 연구

        The primary object of this study was to examine both preferences in a variety of foods and snacks and the eating habits among young children (aged 13 months through 50 months old). In addition, this study examined whether there would be significant differences in the preferences and eating habits by of young children of different ages and gender of young children. This study included 193 infants (85 boys, 108 girls) of aged 13 through 50 months of old who were enrolled in early childhood education and care settings in Seoul and Gyunggi Province. The information regarding food and snack preferences among young children were gathered through surveys filled out by their mothers and the children's overall eating habits were assessed by their teachers. The main results of this study were as follows. Overall, there were some patterns in eating bere asss and food preferences in foods and snacks among young children. There were no significant differences in both eating bere asss and food preferences by gender of young children. But, however, there were significant differences in food (p<0.001) and snack preferences (p<0.001) by of children of different ages of young children.

        온라인 영아발달선별 검사도구(e-DEP)의 타당성 및 만족도에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 가정이나 어린이집에서 주 양육자나 보육교사가 1차적으로 영아발달 선별검사를 할 수 있도록 개발된 온라인 영아발달선별 검사도구(e-DEP)의 타당성 및 만족도를 검증하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 특히, 본 연구에서 개발된 e-DEP의 타당성은 이미 타당성이 입증된 print-version의 영아발달선별검사도구(DEP, 장혜성, 서소정, 하지영, 2010)와 비교 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 총 2689명의 영아가 온라인 검사를 실시하였으며, 이 중에서 온라인 본검사-재검사 및 전문가에 의한 print-version 검사 모두를 실시하는 영아는 총 310명이었다. 본 연구결과, e-DEP는 DEP와 비교 분석한 결과, 어느 정도 타당하고 신뢰로운 영아발달 선별검사도구임이 검증되었으며, 검사-재검사도 안정적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 온라인 영아발달 선별 검사도구 사용자의 전반적인 만족도를 접근성, 타당성 및 유용성 차원에서 살펴 본 결과 전반적으로 만족할 만한 수준으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 관련 현장 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다. The main purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of the on-line version of Early Development Screening Test for young children(aged 0-36 months old) (e-DEP). Also, the reliability and validity of e-DEP were compared with those of the print-version of the same test(DEP). The subjects of this study were 2,689 young children(aged 0-36 months old), and 310 young children of the total sample were on-line tested, re-tested by their primary care-givers and were tested by the trained professionals at centers where parenting support services were provided for parents with young children. Overall internal validity and test-retest reliability were relatively high, as equivalent to those of the print-version of the same test(DEP). The results of this study revealed that the on-line version of early development screening test was accessible and useful enough to provide information about the current developmental status of very young children, which were found to be a reliable and valid diagnostic instrument.

        COVID-19 상황에서 만 2-3세 영유아가 시도하는 교사와의 상호작용에 관한 연구: 영유아의 연령, 기질 및 발달수준을 중심으로

        본 연구는 COVID-19 상황에서 만 2, 3세 영유아가 시도하는 상호작용의 특성(동기와 유형)을 알아보고, 나아가 영유아가 시도하는 교사와의 상호작용이 이들의 기질 및 발달수준과 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 연령에 따라 비교·분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 경기도 H시 소재 보육시설 1개소에 6개월 이상 재원하는 만 2세 2개반, 만 3세 2개반의 영유아 39명과 담임교사 4명으로, 사회적 거리두기 단계에 따른 방역지침(예: 마스크 의무착용 등)을 준수하여 4개월간 현장 관찰 및 비대면 참여관찰(연구대상 교사 바디캠 착용)을 병행하여 실시하였다. 영유아-교사 상호작용 관찰은 영유아 1명당 1회기 40분씩 총 4회기 160분간 진행되었다. 주요 연구결과로는 첫째, 만 2세 영아와 만 3세 유아 모두 놀이동참의 동기에 의해 가장 활발히 상호작용을 시도하였으며, 만 2세 영아가 만 3세 유아에 비해 더 빈번하게 교사와의 상호작용을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, COVID-19 상황에서 연령별 영유아의 주요 변인과 교사와의 상호작용 관계를 살펴본 결과 만 2세 영아는 기질 및 발달수준이 각 상호작용의 동기별 유형과 유의한 관계가 나타난 반면, 만 3세 유아는 기질만이 상호작용 특성과 유의한 관련성을 보였다. 이러한 연구결과는 COVID-19 확산세가 장기화됨에 따라 마스크 의무착용과 사회적 거리두기 등 특수한 상황이 지속되고 있는 보육현장에 관련 정책 수립 및 영유아-교사 상호작용 지원 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study was to understand the characteristics of child-initiated interactions with their teachers in early childhood childcare center during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to compare the patterns in the child-initiated interactions with teachers, focusing on the child’s temperament and development between the two groups by child’s age(2 years old vs. 3 years old). The subjects of this study were 39 young children (aged 38 months to 58 months old) who attended a childcare center, located in Gyeonggi province, Korea. The data on child-teacher interaction were collected by both participant and non-participant observations using a wearable body camera(total 160 minutes per child over 4 sessions in 4 months). The major results of this study are as follows. First, the children of this study were most likely to initiate their interactions with their teachers through the invitation to their play activities. Nevertheless, the two-year-old children were more likely to express both linguistic and behavioral types of interactions with their teachers than their three-year-old counterparts. Second, the patterns in the characteristics as to the relationship among the variables associated with the child-initiated interactions with their teachers revealed to be different between the two age groups. The child’s temperament and development were significantly related in the group of children of age two. For the children in the group of age three, temperament was the only element that was significantly related to the child-initiated interactions with their teachers. In the COVID-19 pandemic situation where the quarantine guidelines (e.g., social distancing and wearing a face mask) by the government should be strictly complied with, the results of this study shed light on the importance about understanding the characteristics associated with the child-teacher interactions in early childhood childcare facilities.

        유아의 친사회적행동에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서 유아의 친사회적 행동에 관련된 변인들을 탐색하고, 관련 변인들 간의 관련성 및 유아의 친사회적 행동 발달에 영향을 미치는 변인들의 영향력을 검증하고자 하였다. 두 곳의 유치원으로부터 만 5세 유아-어머니 43쌍을 선정하여 유아의 자유선택활동 시간에 놀이를 하면서 사용하는 요구전략을 관찰하였고, 표준화된 검사도구(PPVT-R)를 사용하여 관찰자들이 유아들의 언어발달을 측정하였다. 또한 유아들의 친사회적 행동 측정하고 어머니의 친사회성과 관련된 양육신념과 사회화 전략을 알아보기 위해서 담임교사들과 어머니들을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 어머니의 친사회성과 관련된 사회와 전략이 유아의 친사회적 행동을 가장 영향력 있게 예측하는 것으로 나타났으며, 그 다음으로는 유아의 언어발달인 것으로 나타났다. 추가적으로 본 연구의 상관관계 및 회귀분석 결과를 바탕으로 경로분석을 한 결과, 또래와의 상호작용 시 유아가 사용하는 요구전략 중, 특히 유아가 사용하는 간접적 요구전략은 언어발달을 통해 친사회적 행동에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among children's language development, children's requestive strategies, children's prosocial behavior, mothers'beliefs and strategies with regard to children's prosocial behavior. In addition, this study investigated which variables predicted prosocial behavior in children. The subjects consisted of 43 5-year-old children and their mothers at a preschool in Seoul. The children's language development was assessed by the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test-Revised Test (PPVT-R), and their requesting behaviors were observed during self-selected activities in preschool by trained observers. Also, data on the mother's socialization beliefs as well as socialization strategies were gathered through maternal self-reported questionnaires. The children's prosocial behaviors were assessed by teachers. The results showed that the children in this study were more likely to be involved in sharing with their peers as compared to other forms of prosocial behaviors. Also, the children were more likely to use direct requestive strategies. The mothers of this study emphasized more sharing than other social skills. The results showed that the mother's socialization strategies were found to be the most influential predictor of the children's prosocial behavior. The children's language development was found to be predictive in the children's prosocial behavior. The effects of the children's requestive strategies used in the peer relationships on the children's prosocial behavior were mediated through the children's language development.

        영아의 보육기관적응행동에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 영아발달, 기질, 교사-영아간의 상호작용, 어머니의 양육 및 보육신념과 적응지원 전략을 중심으로

        This study investigated the relationships among infant`s temperament, infant development, teacher-infant interaction, maternal attitudes, and infant`s adjustment behavior in the early child care setting. Furthermore, this study examined both stability and change in these relationships of interest over time. Subjects were 52 infant(19 through 36 months old), their mothers, and their teachers. Teacher-infant interactions were observed by the trained researchers during free play activities; infant development and infant`s adjustment behavior were assessed by teachers; infant`s temperament was assessed by mothers; the mother`s attitudes and strategies on infants` adjustment behaviors were gathered through their self-reported questionnaires. Data were gathered from both survey questionnaires and observations at two times (Time 1 & Time 2) and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-tests, correlation, and regression analyses. Results indicated that there were significant correlations and differences in infant`s adjustment behaviors measured at Time 1 and Time 2. Also, infant`s adjustment behavior at Time 2 were significantly influenced by their temperament and language development measured at Time 1 as well as by their concurrent cognitive development.

        유아의 정서지능과 친사회적 행동의 관계에서 유아-교사 관계의 조절효과에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effects of child-teacher relationships on the relation between young children’s emotional intelligence and their pro-social behavior. The participants were 246 children and 56 their head teachers who were attending preschools(aged 3 to 5 years old) located in Seoul and Kyung-gi province, Korea. The pro-social behavior and child-teacher relationship were assessed by the teachers of this study. The levels of emotional intelligence were tested by a trained researcher. The main results of this study as follows. First, girls were found to have higher levels of emotional intelligence as well as those of pro-social behavior than their counterparts by gender. Also, the relation between preschoolers’ emotional intelligence and their pro-social behavior were significantly moderated by both conflict and dependence driven child-teacher relationships. Implications for future research and practice were discussed.
