Recently in treatment planning for orthognathic surgery, 3-dimensional analysis using CBCT can give more detailed information that cannot be achieved with 2-dimensional cephalograms. Also, laser Scanning and 3D camera can show 3-dimensional information on soft tissue changes as well as hard tissue changes in orthognathic surgery patients. In other words, soft tissue changes in lateral facial area as well as mid facial area can be quantitatively calculated. To bring out the best results from orthognathic surgery, close interaction between orthodontist and oral surgeon is needed and well treated pre-surgical orthodontics can simplify orthognathic surgical plan that also results in good long-term stability. In surgery-first cases, more thoughtful diagnosis and pre-operative preparation will be needed to prevent complicated problems.

중고령 남성 수용자의 자살사고에 미치는 영향 요인

중고령 수용자의 수가 계속해서 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 중고령 수용자의 주관적 건강상태, 알코올 의존, 스트레스, 사회적 지지정도를 살펴보고, 자살사고에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인들을 규명해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울 경기 지역의 교정시설에 수감되어 있는 50대 이상의 중고령 남성 수용자들을 대상으로 2020년 12월에 조사를 진행하였다. 총 152명의 설문지가 분석에 이용되었고, 통계분석으로 기술통계, t-test, 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 분석 결과, 연령이 낮을수록, 초범인 수용자일수록 자살사고가 높고, 스트레스 경험이 많을수록, 그리고 사회적 지지가 낮을수록 자살사고가 심각하였다. 요약하면, 사회적 지지, 주관적 건강상태, 스트레스, 연령, 재범 유무의 변인들이 자살사고에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 중고령 남성 수용자의 자살사고를 예방할 수 있는 다양한 실천적, 정책적 방안들을 제시하였다. The number of middle and old-aged inmates population is increasing in correctional facilities. The purpose of this paper is to assess the extent of perceived health status, alcohol dependence, stress, social support as well as the major factors of suicide ideation in this population. For this purpose, a purposive sampling of 152 inmates aged 50 over was conducted in correctional facilities of Seoul and Gyeonggi province. Descriptive statistics analysis, t-test, and multiple regression analysis were used for statistical analysis. As the results, it was examined that social support, perceived health status, stress, age, and frequency of crime emerged as the significant predictors of suicide ideation in male inmates aged 50 over. Based on the results, several implications to prevent the incidence of suicide in middle and old-aged male inmates were discussed as follows: to help correctional personnel receive training programs for early detection of possible suicidal trials, to increase the amount of budget enough to upgrade the quality of correctional service, to build up the statistical data regarding to the characteristics of older inmates, and finally to provide them with social support resources in community after discharge.

알코올중독자의 A.A.몰입과 회복과의 관계에서 단주자기효능감의 매개효과: 성별 및 연령의 차이를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 알코올중독자의 A.A.몰입이 회복에 어떻게 영향을 미치며 단주자기효능감의 매개효과에 대해 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국의 A.A.에 참여하고 있는 알코올중독자 554명을 대상으로 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, A.A.에 참석하는 사람들의 A.A.몰입도가 높아질수록 그들의 회복 정도도 큰 것으로 나타나 A.A.몰입이 회복에 미치는 직접 효과가 존재하였다. 둘째, A.A.몰입도는 회복에 영향을 미치는데 있어 단주자기효능감의 부분매개효과가 존재하였다. 셋째. A.A.몰입도가 단주자기효능감을 매개로 회복에 이르는 경로에서 성별 및 연령에 따른 차이가 있는지를 살펴보았을 때, 남녀 집단의 차이는 나타나지 않았으며 연령에 따른 차이가 존재하였다. 본 연구는 알코올중독자의 A.A.참여를 통해 회복을 도울 수 있는 다양한 사회복지적 방안들에 대해 제시하고 특히, 성별과 연령에 따라 차별화된 개입전략을 논하였다는데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of alcohol abstinence self-efficacy in the relationship between the Alcoholics Anonymous affiliation and alcohol recovery. For these purposes, this study recruited 554 abstinent alcoholics participating in Alcoholics Anonymous. Based on structural equational modeling, the results can be summarized as follows: the relationship between the Alcoholics Anonymous affiliation and alcohol recovery was partially mediated by alcohol abstinence self-efficacy. In particular, age difference was found in the mediating relationship. Based on the findings, implications on practice and future research directions are discussed.

성전환여성(MTF)의 생애경험에 대한 생애사 연구

이 연구의 목적은 성전환여성(MTF)들의 생애경험을 이해하는 것이다.이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 성전환여성 4명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하고 생애사 접근을 통해 분석하였다.구체적으로,개별 연구참여자들의 생애를 상세하게 기술하면서 각 사례의 생애 주제들을 발견하였고,다시 사례간 분석을 통해 나타난 이슈들을 주제분석의 형식으로 검토하였다.분석 결과,성전환여성들의 생애경험에서 나타난 주제들은 “나”아닌 ‘나’로 살아가기,벗어나기 위해 머물러 있기,이루어질 수 없는 사랑하기,멀찍이서 애타게 관계 맺기,트랜스젠더가 아닌 그냥 ‘사람’으로 살아가기,어두운 미래에서 별빛 찾기 등으로 나타났다.이러한 연구결과를 기반으로 성전환자의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 사회복지실천과 후속연구에 대해 제언하였다. This study aimed to understand the life experiences of MTF(males-to-females). For this study method, in-depth interviews were employed to four MTFs, and its results were analyzed based on the life history approach; that is the life themes of participant were found based on the full description of each participant’s life history and the issues that were revealed by cross-case analysis were reviewed through thematic analysis. The results revealed the themes of the lives of the study participants were presented as “living not as what I am, but as myself” “staying to leave” “to have a hopeless love” “longing to enter a relationship but at a distance” “living as a human being and not as a transgender” and “finding starlight in the dark future.” Based on these results, to improve the quality of life of MTFs, some suggestions for social welfare practice and further studies were made.

약물중독자의 지역사회 내 회복경험

본 연구의 목적은 약물중독자의 지역사회 내 회복경험을 약물중독자의 관점에서 깊이 있게 탐색함으로써, 이들이 약물중독으로부터 회복되면서 경험한 현상의 의미를 밝혀내는 데 있다. 본 연구의 참여자들은 약물중독의 의료적 진단을 받거나 관련 프로그램에 참여했던 자 중에서 1년 이상 단약생활을 유지하고 있는 자들로 선정되었다. 자료 수집은 2013년 6월부터 4개월 동안 진행되었고, 연구참여자는 총 7명이었다. 약물중독자의 지역사회 내 회복경험의 4가지 본질주제는 ‘이상한 나라에 빠져 듦’, ‘나가는 길을 찾아감’, ‘또 다른 현실로 돌아옴’, ‘세상 속에서 새롭게 성장하기’로 분석되었고, 본 연구를 통해 드러난 약물중독자의 지역사회 내 회복경험의 본질은 ‘세상에서의 되살이’로 비유되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 도출된 약물중독자의 지역사회 내 회복경험과 그 의미를 통해 약물중독자들이 지역사회에서 긍정적인 상호작용을 하면서 자신의 회복을 유지하고 관리할 수 있는 구체적인 개입전략을 모색하는 데 기여하고자 하였다. This study aimed to clarify the meaning of the phenomenon experienced by drug addicts during their recovery from addiction by deeply exploring their recovery experience in a community from their perspective. The study subjects were selected from among persons who had been medically diagnosed with substance use and addictive disorders or who had participated in drug-abuse-related programs and have lived a drug-free life for over one year. The data from seven subjects were gathered for four months, from June to October 2013. The four essential themes of the recovery experiences of drug addicts in a community were expressed as follows: “walking into wonderland”, “finding the way out”, “turning back to another reality”, and “newly growing up in the world”. The essence of the recovery experience of drug addicts that had been revealed was expressed as “the regeneration in the real world,” Based on the results of the research, this study intended to contribute to explore the concrete intervention strategies for persons who have recovered from drug addiction to be able to maintain and manage their recovered conditions while such persons interact in the community in positive ways based on their recovery experience and its meaning as drawn from this study, which makes this study significant.
