Spin diffusion theory is widely used to interpret experimental results in the field of spintronics. In this paper, we overview the detailed derivation of spin diffusion equation with emphasizing two main assumptions. We discuss possible misinterpretations when applying the spin diffusion equation to spin-orbit torque experiment, where two assumptions of the spin diffusion theory are not applicable in general.
스월 유동이 직분식 디젤엔진 내의 Soot 분포에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Recently, many researches have been performed to improve performances of the combustion and emission in the D.I.Diesel engine. Especially reduction of the soot formation in tole combustion chamber is the essential to acquire the improvement of the emission performance. These emission of the diesel combustion is effected by the characteristics of air-fuel mixing. Thus, in this study, the distribution of soot in the diesel combustion is measured by LII(laser induced incandescence) and LIS(Laser induced scattering) method. From this experimental results, it is confirmed that the swirl flow intensified by SCV(swirl control valve) is effective on the reduction of soot in the combustion chamber.

Industrial cameras used in traditional machine vision are subject to errors because of the distortions induced in the images due to the camera lenses and various external factors. To calibrate these errors, a picture of the dot grid was taken and the center of the circle was calculated using the least squares circle-fitting method and the centroid method. In addition, an error map was generated using these methods, which can be used for generating a first-order equation with the least squares method. It is possible to calibrate the object point. In this work, an equation that can correct this error and perform an accurate measurement. It was applied to the stacking equipment of secondary batteries for automobiles to an algorithm that accurately measures the alignment of the cathode and the anode.
튜브형 레일를 갖는 초고속 자기부상열차의 와전류 현상 해석

The paper presents analysis of eddy current effect on tubular type rail for high-speed maglev train. The research about the tubular type rail is in progress to reduce aerodynamic resistance. The eddy current effect gives the temperature rise in the tunnel. So this type needs a cooling system to keep the temperature in tube. To set specifications of the cooling system, it should be analyzed in advance by using numerical method. In this paper, according to change the diameter and material of tubular type rail, eddy current effect were analyzed. however a traveling wave on thrust coil was kept constant.
