Tennessee Williams 후기극 속의 구원의 여성상
박찬조 한국영어어문교육학회 1997 영어어문교육 Vol.3 No.-
In the case of Tennessee williams, almost all of his works are shaped by reflections on his life and experience. Accordingly, the characters that appear in his works can be said to be shaped by his own character or other characters around him in real life. Especially, and analysis of his feminine characters provides a very suitable access to a study of Williams' works. This study lays aims to suggest the Feminine Type as the self-sacrificer through the characterization of feminine characters, using Lajors Egri's method. The type of character is presented in Williams' later plays. She appears in women like Hannah in the Night of the Iguana and Leona of Small Craft Warnings. In Hannah and Leona, this type puts on the face of a woman who, psychologically, has a transcendental, yet practical will. She maintains a sound physical condition, and in the degree of bestowing her favor upon other characters in her situation, shows a surplus in giving. In contrast to Williams' earlier characters, her relationship of bestowing favor on other characters forms the basis for giving the impression of living a comparatively balanced life economically, physically and psychologically. This analysis of this feminine type that Tennessee Williams created reveals a notable change in the world view that is presented through his early and middle plays. Close analysis of Williams' feminine characters shows clearly a chronological progression from negation to affirmation of life in his works. There is a clear development from the negative femine characters in his early plays to the later life-affirming women who people the stage of his later plays. Study of this progressive change in the world view presented in Williams plays can be most clearly documented through the change in the feminine types presented in his plays.
근적외선 분광법을 이용한 고순도 SiCl4 중의 미량 불순물 SiHCl3의 분석
박찬조,이석근 한국분석과학회 2002 분석과학 Vol.15 No.1
The content of SiHCl3 as a trace impurity in SiCl4 was analyzed by Near IR spectrophotometer with optical fiber. The strong absorption bands of 5345 ∼ 5116 cm-1 and 4848 ∼ 4349 cm-1 were used for analysis of SiHCl3, and the detection limit of impurity SiHCl3 was appeared to be 0.005 % in the spectrum. The quantitative analysis by Near IR spectrophotometry showed the analytical possibility of trace impurity in SiCl4 without sample pre-treatment not only in the laboratory but also in the field.
