Subsyndromal depression (SSD) is found to be more prevalent than major depressive disorder (MDD) and minor depressive disorder (MnDD). SSD is also associated with adverse clinical outcomes, increased risk of suicide, increased social dysfunction and disability, increased risk for future mood disorders, and increased uses of medical and mental health services. DSM-IV diagnostic criteria are not suitable for capturing SSD. Although there is no agreement on gold standard to define SSD so far, three definitions of SSD are available. First, SSD is defined as having two or more current depressive symptoms without core depressive symptoms (depressive mood or loss of interest) and with time threshold (most of the day and nearly every day over at least two weeks). Second, SSD is defined as having two or more current depressive symptoms with core depressive symptoms and without time threshold. Third, SSD is defined by using cutoff points of depression rating scales. SSD may represent a prodromal, residual, or interepisode symptomatic state in the course of MDD and MnDD. More than a half of SSD patients became any type of depressive disorders (SSD, MnDD and MDD) at 1 year. SSD may represent a discrete category of its own, without prior or consequent episodes of MDD. Considering clinical significance of SSD such as its high prevalence, significant psychosocial impairment and chronicity and serious outcomes, researchers and clinicians should be more vigilant in capturing and caring for patients with SSD.

Objectives Haenyeo are Korean professional women breath-hold divers in Jeju island. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical characteristics of depressed Haenyeo group, compared to non-Haenyeo depressed group. Methods This study included 75 Haenyeo and 340 non-Haenyeo with depressive disorders recruited from the Dementia Early Detection Program in Jeju island. Structural diagnostic interviews were performed using the Korean version of Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview. All patients completed the questionnaires, including the Subjective Memory Complaints Questionnaire (SMCQ), the Patient Health Questionnaire-15 (PHQ-15), and the Blessed dementia scale. Depression was evaluated by the Korean version of short form the Geriatric Depression Scale (K-SGDS) and cognition was assessed by the Korean version of the Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease (CERAD) assessment packet. Results Although the mean scores of the K-SGDS were similar between Haenyeo and non-Haenyeo depressed groups, the Haenyeo group showed a higher mean score on the PSQ-15 (p < 0.001, ANCOVA adjusting for age, the K-SGDS and education). The Haenyeo group showed poorer performance on the Korean Version of Frontal Assessment Batter (p < 0.001), the Mini-Mental State Examination in the Korean version of the CERAD Assessment Packet (p < 0.018), the word fluency test (p < 0.001), and the word list memory test (p = 0.012) in ANCOVA adjusting for age and education. The mean SMCQ score was higher in the Haenyeo depressed group than in the non-Haenyeo depressed group. Conclusions The Haenyeo depressed group shows cognitive dysfunction, especially frontal lobe dysfunction, compared to the non-Haenyeo depressed group, indicating the Haenyeo depressed group may have more severe frontolimbic dysfunction due to chronic exposure to hypoxia. The Haenyeo depressed group suffers more somatic symptoms than the non-Haenyeo depressed group.
도시형 전동차를 위한 능동조향 대차시스템의 적용가능성 고찰

On a conventional rail vehicle, passive primary suspensions stabilize wheelsets in the longitudinal and yaw direction. However, these suspensions reduce the natural curving ability due to the profile of the wheels. Stabilizing and steering of the wheelsets generate the conflict problems in design process. Therefore, most systems are designed to guarantee the stability in spite of decreased curving performance. As a result, severe wear of the wheels and rails occur on tight curves and squeal noise on curving is high. Active steering has been proposed to satisfy stabilizing and steering performance simultaneously. This paper describes the possibility investigation about the application of the active steering bogie for a urban railway vehicle. Vehicles run on an amount of tight curves at mid or low speed in urban railways. Thus, it is important to reduce the wear and squeal noise between wheels and rails. Simulations show that active steering can be reduce the wear and squeal noise significantly compared to conventional systems.

철도차량의 주행안정성과 곡선추종성능을 동시에 획기적으로 개선하기 위한 능동조향대차의 가능성은 이론적으로는 계속적으로 검증되어 왔지만 능동제어를 위한 정보획득 문제, 부수적인 기계요소, 높은 에너지 소비, 고장에 대비한 안전기능 등과 같이 해결해야할 기술적 난제 때문에 많은 노력에도 불구하고 아직까지 상용화되지 못하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자, 본 논문에서는 보다 진보된 능동조향 메커니즘을 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문의 메커니즘을 이용하면 적은 제어력만 필요하기 때문에 기어와 같은 동력전달장치가 필요 없고, 그 결과 추가되는 기계요소의 개수를 최소화 할 수 있으며 안전장치 또한 쉽게 구축이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 능동조향대차의 개념에 관하여 소개하고 선형동적모델을 이용한 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 그 가능성을 검증하고자 한다. An active steering bogie has been theoretically proved to improve both stability and steering performance remarkably. However, It has not been commercialized yet even though many researchers have been trying to develop it because some technical difficulties still exist such as information acquisition for active control, increasing mechanical components, high energy consumption, fail-safe problem and so on. To solve those problems, an advanced active steering mechanism is proposed in this paper. With this mechanism, required control force is small enough to use direct drives. Therefore, the number of additional mechanical components can be minimized since mechanical transducers like gears are not necessary. Fail-safe function can be also inserted easily. In this paper, concept design of the proposed active steering bogie is introduced and the possibility is verified through computer simulation using linear dynamic model.

Latin Hypercube Design (LHD) is one of the most widely used design of experiment methods in computer simulation, not involving random errors. However, because of randomness in LHD, its space-filling property is not robust. Although optimal LHD (OLHD) has been developed to resolve the robustness issue, the increase in the size of samples makes it practically impossible to find the optimal solution, due to rapid increases in computational time and the number of design variables for optimization problems of OLHD generation. Translational Propagation Latin Hypercube Design (TPLHD), creating near-optimal LHD based on rules without optimization, handled these shortcomings. TPLHD, however, has poor space-filling property compared to OLHD. Therefore, this paper proposed a method to efficiently create a large set of samples with space-filling property comparable to OLHD, through optimizing seed design of TPLHD instead of entire experimental points. Its performance was proved effective by comparing it with TPLHD and OLHD.
YOLOPv2 를 활용한 차선 탐지 기반 자율주행 구현

본 연구에서는 전동 차량의 자율주행 기능 구현을 위한 방법을 제시한다. 주요 구성 요소로는 카메라, PC, 아두이노, 모터드라이브, 가변저항 등이 사용되었다. 카메라를 통해 데이터를 수집한다. YOLOPv2 lane detection 딥러닝 모델을 사용하여 차선을 탐지하고, 후처리 과정을 통해 주행 경로를 정확히 인식한다. RANSAC 알고리즘을 활용하여 outlier 에 강건한 2 차 함수 회귀를 수행하고, 이를 바탕으로 주행 중 필요한 정보를 파악한다. 이러한 정보를 바탕으로 차량의 조향각을 조절하여 안전하고 효율적인 자율 주행을 구현하였다.
