        Nonlinear dynamic systems are well known to contain special additional phenomena compared with linear dynamic systems. Railway wheelsets are good example to explain such a special phenomena. Generally railway wheelset has two kinds of limit speed. One is linear limit speed and the other is nonlinear limit speed. The nonlinear limit speed is lower than linear limit speed. The methods to obtain nonlinear limit speed, experimental approach and analytical one based bifurcation theory. But the bifurcation theory is not simple. In this study, the perturbation method was introduced to nonlinear limit speed of wheelset. Moreover, the parametric study for limit speed was conducted.

        The object of this study is to investigate the effect of elastic wheel from the viewpoint of noise and vibration of railway vehicle. The vibration reduction was predicted from the FRF difference between elastic wheel and sol id wheel by FEM simulation. The elastic wheel and solid wheel Were compared in viewpoint of carbody vibration and car interior noise level. The effect of elastic wheel on the noise and vibration of subway vehicle was obtained. But, the application of elsatic wheel must be reviewed in some aspect.

        제주도민과 제주방문 도보여행객의 제주올레에 대한 만족도와 친환경 행동 비교

        제주올레는 2007년 제1코스 개장을 시작으로 2017년 2월 현재 총26개 코스가 제주전역에 퍼져있으며 매년 1백 만 명 이상의 관광객이 제주 올레를 걷기 위해 제주를 방문하고 있다. 제주올레는 환경문제가 큰 사회적 문제로 대두되는 현 시점에서 도보 여행으로서 제주의 자연과 생태계를 지킬 수 있는 대표적인 친환경 여행 형태라는 점에서 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 지금까지 제주올레에 대한 연구는 제주방문 관광객 위주로 진행되어 제주올레의 또 하나의 주인이라고 할 수 있는 제주도민의 제주 올레 여행에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제주 방문 올레 도보여행자들과 제주도민을 함께 연구 대상으로 선정하여 제주올레에 대한 여행 행태와 여행 만족도, 친환경 행동에 차이가 있는지 비교하는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 2016년 12월부터 2017년 2월까지 수집한 총 290부의 설문지를 분석한 결과, 제주도민은 제주방문 올레 도보 여행자에 비해 평균 동반 인원수가 더 많은 반면 제주올레 여행 만족도와 친환경 행동 점수는 제주방문 올레 도보 여행자에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 제주도민이 제주방문 올레도보 여행자보다 상대적으로 낮은 친환경 행동을 보인 본 연구 결과는 제주전체의 환경문제와 연관되는 것으로 친환경 행동을 향상시키기 위한 제주도민 대상의 지속적인 환경 교육 프로그램과 홍보가 필요한 때이다. The Jeju Olle Trail Route No. 1 has opened in 2007, and over one million visitors per year trek total of 26 Olle trails throughout the island of Jeju as of 2017. The Olle trekking is one of eco-friendly tourism activities in the era of social issues with environmental collapse and threats. Up until now, studies on the Jeju Olle trail are focused on the visitors while the studies on residents who are the other major pillar of Jeju Olle trail have been limited. The study aims to compare the visit types, satisfaction level and pro-environmental behaviors between the visitors and residents on Jeju Olle trails. Total of 290 survey was collected in three month period from December, 2016 to February, 2017. The survey result indicates the Jeju residents trek the Jeju Olle in a larger group than the Jeju Olle visiting trekkers and show lower level in the visit satisfaction and pro-environmental behaviors. The noticeable lower level in the pro-environmental behaviors of residents can directly connect to the issue of Jeju environment as a whole, and the continuing environmental education program and promotion for residents to improve the pro-environmental behavior level is essential.

        지리과 환경수업의 설계 및 수행평가 적용에 관한 연구 - 중랑천 야외조사 활동을 통하여 -

        Environmental problems of today are caused mainly by men`s misunderstanding of and their wrong attitude against nature. To solve such problems and to find ways for co-existence between human beings and nature, the most effective method is environment education. Geography has long been interested in environment, especially in the relationship between human being and nature. In geography classes, teachers can provide instructions about environment to students in many ways. This paper is based on the presumption that community-based geographical field-work is very effective in providing students to develop eco-friendly attitude and to have concerns for environmental problems of their community. With respect to evaluation of students` outdoor activities, `evaluation plan` was carefully prepared under the name of `performance assessment`. The process and results of outdoor activity program are as follows: 1. The process of outdoor activity program The Community-based outdoor activity program includes four stages. ① Planning Stage: Set instructional goals that are to develop students` eco-friendly attitudes and behavior. Make curriculum plan for indoor and outdoor activities and prepare evaluation plan for fair assessment of students` performances. ② Pre-activity Stage: Before starting outdoor activities, students are provided with information on environment in general from geography textbook and video materials. In addition, they are also provided with information on outdoor program therefore they are requested to make groups according to their interests. When they are grouped, they decide by themselves the research topics and the schedule for their own activities. ③ Research Stage(Indoor & Outdoor): To enhance students` interests, teacher may give instructions on their community`s history, geography, people etc. In addition, students may be provided with practical skills for their outdoor activities such as map-reading, data-collecting, report-writing and so on. In this stage, teacher can contact community`s environmental organizations and get some useful materials about community`s current environmental issues. After indoor research, each group of students start their outdoor research according to their plan and schedule. Six groups of students whose topic was to investigate Chung-rang River`s environment, measured its pollution and observed surrounding vegetation. Therefore, they discussed the cause and effect of such pollution. ④ Evaluation Stage: Each group submits paper and the presentation to other students in geography class. Their performance is evaluated according to what they have done. The performances include quality of papers, the skill of presentations and the attitude of participating, in the program the criteria for evaluation of performances are set in the planning stage above. 2. The Results of students` activities: post-questionnaire Students` responses on post-questionnaire are as follows: Their concern and attitude for environment are highly enhanced. Comparing with learning `about` environment from text books, learning `in` environment from community` outdoor setting is more effective in environment education in affective domain. Students can also develop the synthesizing ability by analyzing what they have observed. Students are highly interested in group work, which help to develop collaboration and communication skills.

        This report was studied about system design of tilting car for speed up for conventional railroad of KNR. The maximum operating speed of Kyun-Pu line was recorded a 140Km/h by saemaul train at 1985 and the average speed its is 107Km/h now. The chungang line, janghang line and honam line of KNR had rebuilt to the electrified line for operation of tilting train. This report was described about the operation status of advanced countries, the operation situation of trains of KNR, system design for operation and speed up by EMU tilting train on the conventional railroad in the future.

        지하철 곡선부소음과 차륜 마모와의 관계에 관한 연구

        There are many curves in Seoul subway system. Therefore, the noise from subway system in curved line gives displeasure to passenger. The subway noise in curved line is affected not only by rail condition but also wheel condition and dynamic characteristics. The railway curving noise can be divided into 2 categories. The first is the noise due to stick-slip between wheel tread and rail head, and the second is one by wheel flange contact on rail side. Because of these phenomena - stick-slip and wheel flange contact - wheels are worn seriously. In this study the curving noise was reviewed by using eigen-mode of wheel and waterfall plot which shows noise level in time-frequency domain. And also those were reviewed in viewpoint of stick-slip noise and wheel flange contact noise. Finally, the relationship between curving noise and wheel wear was studied.

        철도차량용 냉방기 배관계의 진동저감 연구

        The air-conditioner for railway vehicle should have vibration durability in order to operate normally in vehicle running situation. KS R 9144(vibration test methods for railway vehicle parts) is used to verify the vibration durability. The specifications of compressor, condenser and evaporator for air-conditioner in railway vehicle are standardized, but the shape and structure of pipe lines are not specified. Because the air-conditioner handler produces the pipe line arbitrarily, sometimes the pipe line is broken during the vibration durability test. In this research the cause identification and solution of pipe line breaking problem in during the vibration durability test were studied for air-conditioner of railway vehicle(diesel multiple unit). It was found that the natural frequency of pipe line is related to the pipe line breaking by experiment. A new pipe line shape was introduced by using FEA in order to avoid the resonance. The prototype new pipe line was applied to air-conditioner and the natural frequency was measured by experiment in order to verify the resonance avoidance. The vibration reduction of air-conditioner with new pipe line was reviewed by comparing to the air-conditioner with original one.

        In relation to the connection of South-North railway(Kyongui-Line), the operating speed of the train in Kyongui-Line was reviewed. Due to the insufficient maintenance to support on the track of north section of Kyongui-Line, it is very old. The plan that the train run in the north section faster than present time was studied. Finally, the electric power required in the north section was predicted.

        The coldproofness should be studied in order to operate the freight car by connecting the South and North Korea Railway. Actually, there is no standard for coldproofness in South Korea Railway. The standard for coldproofness of the Russian Railway, the Chiness Railway and the North Korea Railway was studied. From the analysis of these standards, the standard of coldproofness was proposed for the freight vehicle connecting the South and North Korean Railway.

        Recently the operation of tilting train is considered in order to speed up the conventional railway. The vehicle and track should be studied to operate the tilting train. In this study, the basic technical feasibility was studied in order to operate the tilting train in the specific line.
