전동기는 사용시간과 동작 상황에 따라 베어링이 파손되기도 하고, 마모로 인한 동적 및 정적 편심, 회전자 바의 손상, 권선의 절연 열화로 인한 단락 현상 등 다양한 결함을 일으키게 된다. 이를 적시에 발견하지 못하고 방치할 경우 유도전동기뿐만 아니라 구동되는 핵심 설비의 고장을 발생시키게 된다. 이는 주요 사용처인 생산현장의 시스템에 악영향을 미쳐 경제적 손실과 시스템의 복구를 위한 추가 인력 및 시간 손실을 초래하고, 심할 경우 인적 피해도 가져올 수 있다. 따라서 유도전동기의 조기 감시 및 진단은 매우 중요한 문제라 할 수 있다. 전동기로부터 취득한 전압과 전류 신호의 특징을 추출, 분석하여 결함의 유형을 진단하는 방법은 이미 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서는 결함의 유형을 파악할 수 있는, 더욱 정밀한 파라미터를 도출하는 기법을 연구하였다. 기존의 신호해석기술인 FFT, STFT(short time FT), Wavelet 해석법은 해상도 등의 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 super resolution 기법들 (MUSIC(multiple signal classification), root-MUSIC, ESPRIT, Pisarenco, MPM(matrix-Pencil method) 등을 사용하여 기존의 한계를 뛰어넘는 기법을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통하여 상태진단 알고리즘을 개발함으로써, 운전정보감시 또는 설비건강지수 시스템에 탑재가 가능하다. Motors can have a variety of faults, including damage to bearings, dynamic and static eccentricity due to wear, damage to rotor bars, and short circuits due to deterioration of insulation in windings. These faults depend on the period of use and operating circumstances. If a fault is not discovered right away, an induction motor and the equipment that it drives will both fail. This has a negative impact on the system at a production site, which is where it is used most frequently. As a result, there will be financial loss, an increase in labor requirements and recovery time, and potential harm to people in more serious circumstances. It is crucial to monitor and diagnose induction motors as soon as possible. Much research has been done on how to diagnose the type of fault by extracting and analyzing the characteristics of the voltage and current signals acquired from a motor. In this study, we derived a more precise parameter that can identify the type of defect. Existing signal analysis techniques such as FFT, short time FT (STFT), and wavelet analysis have limitations such as resolution. In this study, we propose a technique that overcomes the limitations by using super-resolution techniques (MUSIC (multiple signal classification), root-MUSIC, ESPRIT, Pisarenco, MPM (matrix-Pencil method), etc.). By developing a condition diagnosis algorithm, it is possible to use the proposed technique in operation information monitoring or a facility health index system.
[전력경제] 우리나라 전력시장에서 수도권 열병합발전기의 송전혼잡완화 편익 산정 연구

The combined heat and power system (CHP) is one of the representative distributed energy resources which provide various benefits to the power system. This paper estimates the transmission congestion relief benefits from the CHPs located in the metropolitan area in Korea Electricity Market. Based on the results of the electricity market operation, we extract the transmission congestion relief contribution to the power system from CHPs’ excess generation due to the self-constraint. The calculated transmission congestion relief benefits are energy cost savings from the power system perspective and energy settlement cost savings from the utility perspective. The improved market settlement rules for the excess output due to the self-constraint are suggested, considering the transmission congestion relief contribution.
비주거용 소비자 전력요금최소화 목적 BESS 최적운영 및 경제성 평가

This paper presents optimal operational scheduling model and economic assessment of Li-ion battery energy storage systems installed in non-residential customers. The operation schedule of a BESS is determined to minimize electric bill, which is composed of demand and energy charges. Dynamic programming is introduced to solve the nonlinear optimization problem. Based on the optimal operation schedule result, the economics of a BESS are evaluated in the investor and the social perspective respectively. Calculated benefits in the investor or customer perspective are the savings of demand charge, energy charge, and related taxes. The social benefits include fuel cost savings of generating units, construction deferral effects of the generation capacity and T&D infra, and incremental CO2 emission cost impacts, etc. Case studies are applied to an large industrial customer that shows similarly repeated load patterns according to days of the week.

In the distribution systems, the maximum power transportation capacity is restricted within 40㎿ based on two lines, because of the thermal current limit of a distribution line. Recently it has been continuously required to expand the abilities of the power transportation in distribution systems, as the number of large scale industrial complexes and distributed generations are growing. In this paper, we suggested the five alternatives combining two methods, laying the two bundle lines and adding another voltage between the 22.9㎸ and 154㎸ in distribution systems. This paper implemented the economic evaluations of proposed alternatives from national and customer perspectives. And then we compare the results with those of 154㎸ transmission system.
