As the high-rise building projects are increasing, lifting management is a critical factor for construction productivity. Existing researches on lift management are mostly focused on developing optimum lift plans applicable to high-rise building. Meanwhile, it is difficult to estimate lifting traffic load due to influence of operational conditions on construction process. This research aims to reduce workers’ transportation time in the morning using temporary vertical zoning of construction lift. To identify the lifting operation, this paper presents a model including three modules: passenger, zoning, optimization modules. First, each floor’s population is calculated through a resource-driven schedule data. Then, the passenger module is involved in grouping of passengers for feasible crew work. Third, the zoning module generates the alternatives of zoning area where a certain lift is constrained to serve a designated set of floors(service floor). Finally, identification of optimal zoning area can be achieved with the optimization module using the genetic algorithm. An application of a diverse set of scenarios is demonstrated to compare zoning alternative using a complex traffic simulation. This proves that the proposed model has capabilities in optimizing zoning area and enhancing life efficiency.

Negotiation with foreign countries is difficult in the context of global business interaction. Furthermore, negotiation on the area of trade in services is more difficult than that of trade in goods. Policy-makers in charge of service trade in Korea have neglected the importance and economic value of service sector, and have not prepared the FTA strategies relating to trade in services. This paper analyzes some problems about FTA negotiation trend focusing on trade in services, and provides the FTA negotiation strategies of Korea for the success of global business relationship with foreign countries. This paper suggests that Korea should determine the priority which country is a FTA partner. It also suggests that policy-makers may well consider the economic relationship between countries such as U.S., Japan, BRICs, etc. and regional trade agreement(RTA) such as ASEAN, APEC, EU, NAFTA, etc. when Korea encounters the FTA negotiation on service sector. More than anything else the competitiveness of service industry and trade of Korea should be strengthened day by day.

The government to resolve disparities between local governments because of the rapid economic growth has taken various policies such as the administrative city and innovative city. Main topics of the recent urban development can be summarized as the sustainable city, the ubiquitous city, and the self-sufficient city. In this study, the self-sufficient city development in Korea’s key success factors were derived and the causal loop diagram was constructed using these key factors to check the interaction between elements of the self-sufficient city development. In addition, system dynamics model was developed for the comprehensive quantitative analysis of the urban development of self-sufficiency and multi-functional administrative city development policies using a system dynamics model was simulated. As a result, industry, housing, services, facilities, and education and welfare facilities are related to the growth of the city but influenced in different ways. In the case of the multi-functional administrative city, the limitation of the number of companies due to the proportion of industrial land had an impact on the city’s population growth and policies from investments in various sectors confirmed the population growth from increasing rate of industrial land.
시스템다이내믹스를 이용한 공공건설사업 시공단계 VE 활성화 방안

Recently, the application of Value Engineering(VE) has become the center of industrial interest for an improvement of productivity and efficiency through a construction technology development, an advancement of project management and the removal of wasting factors in construction projects. In Korea, government implemented 'technology development rewarding system' to encourage cost reduction in construction phase like VECP(value engineering change proposal) in U.S. However, it hasn't got intended result by analogy the fact that there are only 5 cases which has accepted and rewarded for over 10 years because it didn't motivate the contractor and public owner properly. So, this study deduced variables through antecedent research and survey of recognition and then analyzed the causes of problems in an integrated point of view by modeling feedback loop using system dynamics methodology. And then derived from the simulation, it proposed policy alternatives for boosting VE in construction phase by raising recognition degree of project participants.
자궁경부무력증에서 Beriplast ( TM ) 를 이용한 Modified McDonald cerclage 15 예의 경험

Objectives : As a main treatment modality of Incompetent Internal Os of Cervix(IIOC), Transvaginal cerclage(TVC) has been performed. But Transabdominal cervico-isthmic cerclage(TCIC) has been selected in cases of at least one history of failed TVC and severe damaged uterine cervix, very short or congenital anomalous cervix, or removed state of uterine cervix due to another disease. However, this TCIC has not been popularized, due to dangerous operation procedure, and two laparotomies. There are also difficult operative situation performing TVC & TCIC, such as bulging amniotic membrane and in patients who have medical contraindication of laparotomies. In this reason, we designed Modified Mcdonald cerclage using Beriplast (TM) as an alternative of TCIC. Methods : We involved 15 patients who visited recurrent abortion clinic of Hanyang University Hospital, diagnosed as IIOC, who were appropriate for the above mentioned TCIC indications or had bulging amniotic membrane through cervical canal. Briefly explaining the procedure, at proximal portion of internal os of cervix, first cerclage was performed and about 1-2cm distal from first cerclage, second cerclage was done. For doing this, it is important that first cerclage band is as proximal as possible. And then, 1-3cc of Beriplast(TM) was injected in cervical canal between two McDonald cerclages. Results : The mean gestational age at operation was 16.9±4.3weeks. The live births were 13 cases among 15 cases(success rate was 86.7%). In 13 cases of success, the mean interval time between operation and delivery was 21.0±4.1weeks, and mean body weight of neonates was 3094±535gm. The failed 2 cases were as followings; one case failed after 2 weeks postoperatively and the other case was twin pregnancy. Conclusions : The burden of patients as well as of operator is considered as obstacles in performing TCIC in IIOC patients. In this circumstances, we designed the Modified McDonal cerclage. This method would be useful in cases of above mentioned operation indications. We named this procedure as Candy operation.
