Currently, there are many kinds of tracked armored vehicles in service and they have encountered various environment and situations. So there are many obstacles to operate them improperly such as an engine stall. The causes of engine stall are an insufficient fueling, a mixture of air-fuel or vapor lock, and load increment which results from a rapid steering or increasing a viscosity of lubricant by low temperature. In this paper, engine stall by load increment due to a rapid steering or increasing of lubricant viscosity on tracked armored vehicles is analyzed, the ways to prevent it are applied, and their degrees of improvement are evaluated.
전투기 캐노피투명체의 편각 측정을 위한 정밀 자동측정장비 개발

Angular Deviation(AD) applied to TA-50 Aircraft deteriorates armament system’s accuracy by inaccurate aim which result in difference between actual target and theoretical target. In order to solve this problem TA-50 Aircraft must measures AD and revises AD Coefficient for Integrated Mission Display Computer and Head-Up Display. This paper is analysis result about Induce equation AD automatic measure equipment system developed by local technique at first, development concept and operation system, reliability verification to accuracy and precision. At a result we get very fit data that accuracy is within judgement criterion 1% with maximum bias ± 0.04 mm, % bias 0.3 % linearity 0.8 and precision is within judgement criterion % contribution < 1%, % study variation < 10%, number of distinct categories > 10 with % contribution dx 0.18, dy 0.04 % study variation dx 4.24, dy 2.08, number of distinct categories dx 33, dy 67.

TA-50 항공기에 적용되는 투명체의 편각은 실제목표와 투명체를 통해 조종사가 인식하는 목표와 차이를 유발시켜, 부정확한 조준 및 이로 인한 무장계통의 정확도를 저하시킨다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 TA-50 항공기에서는 원드실드 투명체의 편각을 실측하여 편각 계수 형태로 항공기의 통합임무시현컴퓨터에 입력, 각도 편차를 보정하여 전방상향 시현기에서 목표물에 정확히 조준되도록 한다. 이러한 작동원리를 실전에 적용하기 위해 본 연구에서는 편각 자동측정장비를 국내 최초 독자적으로 개발하였다. 또한 편각 유도공식산출 등 개발개념 및 운영 체계와 장비의 신뢰성 검증을 위한 정확성 및 정밀성에 대한 내용을 다룬다. 본 연구를 통해 개발한 장비의 정확성은 최종 판정기준인 1% 미만으로 매우 적합하였으며, 정밀성 또한 최종 판정기준을 모두 만족하여 매우 적합하다는 결과를 얻었다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 편각 자동측정장비는 우수한 품질로 입증되어 캐노피 투명체의 국방규격에 등재되어 사용되고 있다. Angular Deviation(AD) on transparency applied to TA-50 Aircraft deteriorates armament system's accuracy because it makes a difference in between actual and theoretical targets. In order to increase accuracy, therefore, TA-50 Aircraft measures AD on transparency and provide the measured values for the integrated mission display computer as a type of AD coefficients. This makes AD revised so that pilots can accurately see the actual target on their head-up display. In order to implement such mechanism into a real field, we develop a new device and system automatically measuring AD for the first time. We also deal with basic concept including AD induction formula as well as operating systems. As a consequence of testing the accuracy and precision for verifying reliability of the system, we got satisfactory results. In specific, the accuracy was within the resultant criterion of 1%. The precision was also satisfied with respect to the whole criteria. The system developed through this research is qualified as a military standard equipment for transparency of the canopy.
Opioid 수용체 효능제의 뇌실 내 주입이 고양이 척수후각세포의 활성에 미치는 영향

Intracerebroventricular (ICV) infusion of morphine (MOR) produces strong analgesia in man and animals. The analgesic effect is thought to be mediated by the centrifugal inhibitory control. But neural mechanisms of the analgesic effect of ICV morphine are not well understood. In the present study, we found that ICV MOR had dual actions on the activity of dorsal horn neurons: it produced both inhibition and excitation of dorsal horn neurons. Since MOR exerts its action via three different types of opioid receptors, we further sought to investigate if there are differential effects of opioid receptor agonists on dorsal horn neurons of the spinal cord in the cat. ICV VOR inhibited, excited and did not affect the heat responsers of dorsal horn neurons. ICV DAMGO and DADLE, mu-and delta-opioid agonist, respectively, exhibited the excitation of dorsal horn neurons. In contrast, U-50488, a k-opioid agonist, exhibited both the inhibition and excitation of dorsal horn neurons. These results suggest that opioid receptors have different actions on activity of dorsal horn neuron and that the inhibitory action of k-opioid agonist may subserve the analgesia often produced by ICV MOR.
궤도차량 변속기 출력 하우징의 구조건전성 평가에 대한 연구

Transmission of a tracked vehicle designed for multiple functions such as steering, gear-shifting, and braking is a core component of heavy vehicle to which the power is transferred based on combined technology of various gears, bearing, and fluid machineries. Robustness and durability of transmission, however, have been issued due to a large number of driving units and sub-components inside its body. Particularly, transmission housing is important structure which supports the transmission, and is made of aluminum alloy. Thus, structural robustness against such mechanical loading or vibration must be attained. Structural reliability evaluation through FEM analysis can save time and cost of the actual tests. In this study, structural evaluation is conducted on output housing of transmission, which is core component of tracked vehicle, using the simulation program. In addition, transmission dynamo test is performed to evaluate structural robustness of the output housing against the vibration which can be produced during the transmission operation.
역설계 기반 제조기술 설계를 통한 방탄용 부가장갑킷트 개발에 관한 연구

Purpose: The study focused on localization of the enhanced applique armor kit (EAAK), which are applied to Korea Assault Amphibious Vehicle (KAAV). Methods: For this propose, we developed the manufacturing technology by analyzing the original products. Considering the conditions used in the military, we made the test evaluation criteria. Results: In results, The EAAK developed through this research performs equivalent performance compared to Rafael, Co. Thus, It is possible not only stably supply a parts of EAAK for maintenance, but also to reduce costs due to import substitution effect. Conclusion: It is expected that the manufacturing technology and test evaluation criteria accumulated through this study can be used in the localization of similar parts.
