서울시립 미술아카이브의 공간 설계 특성 연구- 미셀푸코의 헤테로토피아 개념을 중심으로 -

Art Archives, Seoul Museum of Art reconfigures the function of traditional art institutions by intertwining memory,history, and creative practice. Grounded in Michel Foucault’s concept of heterotopia—a space accommodating multiple, oftencontradictory realities—this study examines how the Archives embodies distinct spatial qualities beyond conventional museumparadigms. The analysis centers on three critical aspects. First, “a space of multiple layers and meanings” demonstrates howdiverse temporal and functional elements converge, enabling visitors to seamlessly traverse past, present, and future within asingle venue. Second, “a space of inclusion and exclusion” investigates the fluid boundaries formed by walls, apertures, andmaterials, rendering internal and external realms ambiguously linked rather than strictly divided. Finally, “a space of theextraordinary” illustrates how lighting, materiality, and movement collectively disrupt ordinary routines, offering an immersive,otherworldly experience. By illustrating the Archives as a heterotopic environment, this paper contends that it not only preservesart but also functions as an evolving cultural ecosystem, actively engaging and reinterpreting social, historical, and aestheticcontexts. Furthermore, heterotopia proves instrumental in rethinking the design of contemporary art spaces, suggesting newframeworks for institutions to challenge conventional notions of time, space, and collective memory in today’s society.

GIS를 활용한 도시주거지 공간특성 분석 -토지속성에 따른 지가분포를 중심으로-

도시와 건축분야의 주된 관심영역인 도시주거지는 GIS의 분석기능을 활용할 경우 더욱 다양하고 신속 정확한 분석이 가능하다. 이 중 도시분야에서의 GIS활용은 거시적 분석위주로 수행되어 왔으며, 건축분야에서의 활용은 상대적으로 그리 적극적이지 못하였으나, 도시-건축적 스케일에서의 활용방법이 적극적으로 모색되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 도시-건축적 스케일에서 GIS 활용의 실례로써, 토지속성과 지가의 개념을 도입한 건축적 분석과 해석을 시도하였다. 연구 결과 도시-건축적 스케일에서의 필지단위의 토지속성이 지가의 변화 및 분포패턴과 관련이 있으며, CIS의 가시적 분석기능에 따른 사용자 인터페이스 효과가 매우 유용하고 효과적 분석 방법임을 확인할 수 있었다.

‘우머니즘’의 관점에서 본 앨리스 워커의 『컬러 퍼플』과 엄인희의 <그 여자의 소설>

이 연구는 앨리스 워커가 『어머니의 정원을 찾아서』에서 정의내린 ‘우머니즘’ 개념을 토대로, 워커의 소설 『컬러 퍼플』과 엄인희의 희곡 <그 여자의 소설>에형상화된 ‘우머니즘’을 비교ㆍ분석한다. 주류 서구 페미니즘이 흑인 여성과 기타 소외된 집단을 배제하는 것을 비판한 워커의 ‘우머니즘’은, 인종, 젠더, 성적지향 등 각종 경계를 초월하는 포괄적인 문화로 여성 간 유대를 강조한다. 엄인희가 워커의 ‘우머니즘’을 알고 있었는지는 불확실하지만, 비교ㆍ분석을 해보면『컬러 퍼플』과 <그 여자의 소설>에서 장르와 배경(1900년대 초반 미국 흑인공동체와 1940년대에서 70년대까지 한국 봉건적 마을)을 뛰어넘는 공통의 주제적 핵심이 드러난다. 두 작품 모두 여성 간 정서적 유대와 이를 바탕으로 한여성의 각성을 다룰 뿐 아니라, 여성 간 결속이 남성까지 확장되는 과정을 보여준다. 구체적으로 이 연구는 『컬러 퍼플』의 씰리와 슈그의 성적ㆍ영적 결합을<그 여자의 소설>의 큰댁과 작은댁의 유대와 비교하여, 씰리와 작은댁이 내면화된 가부장적 성차별주의자에서 ‘우머니스트’가 되기까지의 여정과 그들 각각의남편들의 변화를 살펴본다. 이를 통해 이 글은 엄인희가 여성의 시각에서 우리의 전통을 잇고 민중의 목소리를 들려주는 극작가일 뿐만 아니라, ‘우머니즘’과같은 동시대 세계의 흐름에 조응하는 극작가임을 밝혀 엄인희에 대한 새로운평가의 길을 열어본다. This study examines the thematic similarities between Alice Walker's concept of 'womanism,' as described in In Search of Mothers' Gardens and illustrated in her novel The Color Purple, and the portrayal of 'womanism' in Eom In-hee's play <That Woman's Novel>. Walker's 'womanism' critiques mainstream Western feminism for excluding black women and other marginalized groups, advocating for a more inclusive approach that surpasses racial, class, national, gender, and sexual orientation boundaries, while emphasizing strong female connections. Although it is unclear if Eom In-hee was directly influenced by Walker's work, a comparative analysis reveals a shared thematic core in The Color Purple and <That Woman's Novel>. Despite differences in genre, cultural context, and historical setting, both works emphasize the formation of deep, supportive bonds among women, extending these connections to include men, which is an essential aspect of 'womanism.' This paper juxtaposes the sexual and spiritual bond between Celie and Shug in The Color Purple with the relationship between the older and younger wives in <That Woman's Novel>, exploring their transformation from internalized patriarchal sexism to embracing a womanist perspective, and the subsequent change in their respective husbands. In doing so, it positions Eom In-hee not only as a playwright who offers a feminist perspective on tradition but also as a playwright aligned with global contemporary trends like 'womanism,' thereby suggesting new avenues for evaluating her contributions.

공과대학 학생의 전공-진로 일치 여부에 따른 학업 성취, 태도 및 진로타협 양상 비교 분석 : 서울대학교 공과대학 사례를 중심으로

The purpose of this study was to explore the academic achievements, learning attitudes, and career compromising processes for successful undergraduate students in the College of Engineering. To achieve this goal, research was conducted to analyze whether there was a strong major-career connection among Engineering students of Seoul National University. Afterwards, differences in levels of academic achievement, learning attitude, and academic aspiration were analyzed between students who had achieved a major-career match and students who had not. As a result, it was found that the level of major-career connection was highly correlated to the level of academic achievement; furthermore, learning attitudes were strongly related to the level of motivation towards a high academic achievement, and influenced future learning attitudes as well. These findings suggest that further academic support, career guidance, and major switching policies are needed for undergraduate students in Colleges of Engineering. 직업흥미와 적성에 맞는 일을 하는 것이 개인의 정서적 안정및 일의 효율성 면에서 긍정적인 영향을 끼친다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 학업우수 공대학생들의 전공진입에 따른 학업성취, 학습태도, 진로결정 양상을 검토하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 공대학생들을 대상으로 자신이 선택한 전공과 진로와의 연관성을 조사하였고, 연관성이 있는 집단과 그렇지 않은 집단 간에 학업성취, 학습태도, 진로타협 양상이 차이를 보이는지 분석하였다. 그 결과 공대학생의 전공과 진로방향과의 일치정도는그들의 학업성취와 연관성이 높으며, 실제로 그들의 학습태도는 학업성취동기와 상관성이 높았고, 아울러 미래 학습태도에도 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 일치 정도는 향후 진로 결정과정에도 영향을 주기 때문에 본 연구 결과는 공대학생의 진로 지도 및 교육적 지원 방안을 모색하는 데 기초 자료를제공할 것이다.
