Customer needs for final products are very unpredictable because product specifications and technologies are being improved very quickly thereby their requirement level is also elevated correspondingly. In order to survive and to enhance competitiveness in the global market, many manufacturing companies are trying to find a breakthrough from collaborization. Even though they want to collaborate with others, however, they do not exactly know what kind of system they have to develop or which technology they have to use. In this paper, therefore, we first investigate status and trend of information systems and infrastructure that are essential for collaboration. We then clearly describe definition and classification of collaboration with various point of views considering collaboration pattern, timing condition of collaborative activities, organizational structure, etc. With web-based collaboration systems already developed by i-Manufacturing (Korean-style Manufacturing Innovation) project, led by Korean government from 2004, we introduce main functions and analyze collaboration types of each system. Strategically important technologies for supporting collaboration will also be illustrated by reorganizing collaborization technologies after evaluating them with respect to emergency and importance of each technology. We hope this research will provide a guideline on collaboration especially for small and medium sized manufacturing companies.

최근 국내 제조업체들의 중국진출 가속화 및 지속적으로 진행되어온 중소기업의 구조적ㆍ기술적 취약성 등으로 인해 특히 국내 중소 제조업체는 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 상황을 극복하고 기업간 기술협업 기반의 제조경쟁력 강화를 위하여 현재 i매뉴팩처링(한국형 제조혁신)사업이 추진 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 i매뉴팩처링 사업을 통해 구축된 다양한 협업모델 가운데 성공적인 평기를 받고 있는, 가장기업 구성을 통한 중소기업 상생모델인 사출금형생산 협업허브 및 이에 대한 확대사례를 소개하고자 한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 기업 컨소시엄의 특성에 맞게 구축된 협업모델에 대해 기능강화를 통한 기업적용으로의 활용성 검증을 마친 기구축 협업허브를 신규 기업군을 대상으로 적용하는 과정에 대해 설명하며, 이러한 협업네트워크의 확산을 통해 기업경쟁력 강화에 어떠한 영향을 미칠 수 있는지에 대해서도 고찰해 보기로 한다.

최근 제조업은 고객계층이 다양화되고 수요변화 주기가 짧아지면서 IT 기술을 통한 정확도 높은 제조지원시스템의 도입이 증가하고 있다. 제조업의 제조지원시스템은 PDM(Product Data Management), PLM(Product Lifecycle Management), MES(Manufacturing Execution System), POP(Point of Product)로 구분될 수 있다. 제조지원시스템은 종류에 따라 제품기획에서 설계, 제조, 마케팅 그리고 제품폐기 등 제품 개발, 생산, 판매 및 유통에 관련된 모든 데이터를 수집하고 관리하는 기능을 가지고 있다. 하지만 제조지원시스템의 관리 범위와 개념이 너무 광범위 하여 제조지원시스템의 모든 기능을 도입하는 것은 비용적 측면이나 시스템의 운영측면에서 효과적이지 못하다. 제조지원시스템의 효과적인 도입을 위해서는 적용되는 기업의 생산전반을 정확하게 분석하고 생산의 특성을 추출해야 한다. 일반적으로 생산과정을 분석하고 특성을 추출해 내기 위해서는 전문가의 컨설팅을 통해 제조지원시스템의 설계지원이 이루어지지만 전문가의 역량에 따라 분석의 결과가 달라지고 정량적 타당성도 부족하다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 효과적인 제조지원시스템의 설계를 지원하기 위하여 제조프로세스 모델링 방법론을 이용한 공정분석을 통해 기업의 특성에 맞게 재구성된 맞춤형 제조지원시스템의 기능을 추천하는 방법론을 제안하고자 한다.

Globalization of market and diversification of customers’ needs make enterprises to collaboration of participants in supply chain. To establish collaboration, supply chain must have the flexibility and reconfigurability, which are supported by fractal based supply chain management (FrSCM). In this paper, base on the FrSCM, formulation of trust model among the enterprises in the supply chain, and development of profit sharing strategies in the supply chain based on the trust model are investigated. To evaluate trust model, generation of enterprises goal and its description, extraction and systematic composition of trust factors and trust evaluation are investigated. Based on the developed model, we developed the fuzzy inference engine to evaluate the trust value in terms of numerical value. And then revenue sharing strategies are developed based on the fractal concept and trust model for the collaborative SCM. The fractal concept is used to obtain the optimal production and transportation plans. In addition, the trust model will be integrated into the RS model. In such an RS model, the supply chain will obtain the maximum total profit and profit of each participant depends on its trust value.
재구성 가능한 생산시스템을 위한 재구성 가능한 생산기계 최소화 모델 개발

A Reconfigurable Manufacturing System (RMS) appeared as a solution to high variation in customer demands;allows manufacturers to satisfy different amount of demands in each single period;by reconfiguring its facility;referred to as Reconfigurable Machine Tools (RMT);to match the capacity exactly when and where needed. This reconfiguration process requires adding and removing machines whose number depends on the demand of every single period. RMT reconfiguration process should be properly planned since it costs time;budget;and factory floor space. Especially;companies often only operate in limited hours a day. It will be time consuming to reconfigure RMT while stopping some parts of the production process; therefore it is very necessary to calculate the system’s performance including tardiness to satisfy customer demands. In this study;multi-objective mathematical model with scoring method is developed to support RMT planning in RMS by optimizing factory space for machine reconfiguration as well as minimizing reconfiguration cost and time and penalty of tardiness.

Human-robot collaboration (HRC) systems have become one of the enabling technologies in Industry 4.0. With the development of deep learning algorithms, researchers implement various recognition systems into the HRC systems to enable the interaction between humans and robots in HRC work cells, such as object recognition to identify parts and tools, gesture recognition to identify commands using gesture. This paper proposes a conceptual framework of task recognition and progress estimation using objects and hand motion recognition for HRC in mold assembly operations. Task recognition consists of object recognition on parts and tools to identify tasks. With task recognition, progress estimation predicts the status of the task being executed by tracking the recognized parts, tools, and motion. A human controls tasks of robots in an HRC assembly cell using a push button in most practical cases. However, this kind of control method causes delays during the operation. We can eliminate the delays by executing robot tasks including picking and feeding parts before the manual task ends. Therefore, we integrate progress estimation into task recognition to reduce delays during the collaborative operation by deciding the start time of the subsequent robot tasks based on the status of the manual task and vice versa. The outcome of this framework will be helpful to enable just-in-time task execution without commands from a human operator.
제조실행시스템 도입효과 분석을 위한 프로세스모델링 기반 수행도 분석 방법론에 관한 연구

The global economic crisis is intensifying the competition among manufacturing companies. To meet such circumstances, they attempt to follow business trends by managing production and information efficiency. Therefore, many companies introduce a manufacturing execution system (MES) to increase their productivity. The MES is a manufacturing information system to deliver and share information which optimizes the production from order launch to finished goods. To achieve the desired effect by embodying MES, process modeling is particularly important step to design manufacturing data architecture and MES functions. Furthermore, the comparative analysis before and after introducing MES allow to decrease failure risk of introduction of MES. Therefore, we introduce manufacturing process modeling methodology referred to as Part-flow based Manufacturing Process Modeling (PMPM), aims to analyze and define the discrete manufacturing process including collaborative works. We apply the PMPM to a performance analysis by converting to Petri net model for pre-analysis of effects of MES using Reachability tree. PMPM based performance analysis methodology allows companies to measure on the performance changes of processes between before and after introducing MES. We expect that this research can support decision makers to establish the strategy of design MES in early stage of the MES introduction progress.

국내 제조업은 국가 경제에 중추적인 기여를 하는 분야이다. 제조업의 뿌리이자 기둥인 국내 중소 제조기업들은 급변하는 글로벌 제조환경의 변화 속에서 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 많은 노력들을 하고 있다. 그러나 국내ㆍ외 환경의 격렬한 변화와 구조적ㆍ기술적 취약성으로 인해 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이며, 이러한 상황에 대처하고자 정부에서는 2004년부터 전통 제조업에 IT기술을 접목한 e매뉴팩처링을 추진하여 여러 측면에서 좋은 성과를 거두었다. e매뉴팩 가진 고부가가치 선진 산업구조로 전환되도록 다양한 혁신정책을 일관성 있게 추진하고자 2007년부터는 기존의 e매뉴팩처링 사업영역을 확대하여 i매뉴팩처링(한국형 제조혁신)사업을 추진하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 i매뉴팩처링 사업의 추진전략 및 구체적인 실행방안에 대해 논해보고 이에 따른 기대효과를 설명하도록 한다.
프로세스 마이닝을 이용한 PDM/PLM 시스템 활용 프로세스의 효율성 개선

Process mining is a useful methodology that can be used for extracting user patterns in log files in order to discover efficient or inefficient processes in organizations. In general, it is used to find and reduce differences between pre-defined processes and actually executed processes in an organization. In this paper, we propose a method to improve processes in PDM/PLM systems based on process mining. In order to improve and detect the inefficient processes, we gathered event logs from PDM/PLM systems and derived process models using several process mining techniques such as α-algorithm mining, heuristics mining, and fuzzy miner. By comparing original process models with process mining results, it is possible to detect differences between predefined processes and real ones; thereby we can build improved process models for future application.
