As our society of the twenty-first century has entered into the era of pursuing added value based on knowledge and information, economic efficiency of invisible values has been demonstrated and their influence has been increasing. In addition, as people have more free time and money to relax, they ask markets to have delicate and specific differences in competitions of excess supply. Therefore, as a strategy to meet such competition, a variety of spacial marketing approaches through visual and spatial programs and contents which are sustainable in competitions have appeared. Therefore, this study examines cases of applying programs of culture and art which are icons of this emotion-based society to identify the meaning of culture and art and present directions of spatial marketing. Academic literature uses the abstract to succinctly communicate complex research. An abstract may act as a stand-alone entity instead of a full paper. As such, an abstract is used by many organizations as the basis for selecting research that is proposed for presentation in the form of a poster, platform/oral presentation or workshop presentation at an academic conference. Most literature database search engines index only abstracts rather than providing the entire text of the paper. Full texts of scientific papers must often be purchased because of copyright and/or publisher fees and therefore the abstract is a significant selling point for the reprint or electronic version of the full-text. Abstracts are protected under copyright law just as any other form of written speech is protected. However, publishers of scientific articles invariably make abstracts publicly available, even when the article itself is protected by a toll barrier. Objectives : Schisandrae Fructus (SF) has traditionally been used to balance level of body fluid and to strengthen kidney function. It has been reported that the SF extract has antioxidant, hepatoprotective, neuroprotective and anticancer effects. This study investigated an antiproliferative effect of SF extract on PC-3 human prostate cancer cells and analyzed active ingredients of SF extract qualitatively and quantitatively. Methods : We examined the antiproliferative effect of SF extract with MTT assay, DAPI staining and annexin-V/7-AAD double staining. The active ingredients of SF extract were identified by using HPTLC and HPLC/DAD system. Results : SF-chloroform fraction inhibited growth of PC-3 cells and changed the morphology of nucleus in a dose dependent manner. A dose-dependent apoptotic cell death was also measured by flow cytometry analysis. It was analyzed that SF-chloroform fraction contained more schizandrin than other fractions by using HPTLC and HPLC/DAD system. Conclusions : These results suggest that SF extract and schizandrin may be a potential chemotherapeutic agent for the control of PC-3 human prostate cancer cells.
여자중학생의 신체적 체력과 학업성적에 관한 종단적 연구

This study set out to longitudinally compare and analyze connections amongphysical fitness, body composition and academicperformance of a group of students for three years and to emphasize the importance ofphysical fitness. 333 girls were cluster sampled in middle school, and their data were gathered inphysical fitness, body composition, and academic performance for three years(2006, 2007, and 2008). In Middle School Girls there were significant changes(p<.05) to the subjects'physical fitness among the years and there were significant changes(p<.05) to the subjects' body composition among the years. Also there werepartial(2006 and 2008) causal relations(p<.05) betweenphysical fitness and academic performance and there werepartial(2006) causal relations(p<.05) between BMI and academic performance. The studypresents the results of a longitudinal study based on the data of the same group of students for three years(2006∼2008) and a meaningful conclusion that the girls with strongphysical fitness(muscle strength and endurance,power, cardio-respiratory endurance, and flexibility) and low BMIperform better academically than the girls with no such conditions.

Kimchi is the most well-known Korean traditional food, but it is also the main leftover of school lunch and dinner menus. This study aimed to familiarize teenagers with kimchi through school meals and to increase their daily kimchi intake, ultimately by appealing to the young generation`s taste. A questionnaire survey was conducted in the Ansan area to examine student`s acceptability of kimchi and their attitudes toward kimchi. Approximately 65% of males and 67% of female students liked the moderately fermented and pungent taste of kimchi. Kimchi served in school meals was regarded as nutritional but cheap. Approximately 72% of male and 82% of female students responded that they liked menu items using kimchi. Approximately 48% of students responded that menu items using kimchi in schools are not diverse. Students preferred meat as an ingredient in kimchi. The preferred cooking methods were stir-frying and frying, whereas boiling was the least favorite. Based on the survey results, ten kimchi menu items had been developed. The suitability of the menu was evaluated by students and cooks. Six kimchi items, including Kimchi mixed with rice, chicken, soybean sprouts, Kimchi cheese rice, stewed beef ribs with kimchi, rice topped with kimchi curry, kimchi cheese meat roast, and kimchi udong were considered appropriate for school meals, whereas kimchi kangchong, kimchi topokki, kimchi stew with surimi, and frozen Pollack kimchi soup were not suitable as menu items. Kimchi topokki was not accepted by students, while kimchi kangchong was not accepted by cooks. Cooks judged the suitability of a menu item by the cooking process and cooking times, whereas students judged an item by its sensory preference. Approximately 63% of students responded that kimchi intake has increased by participating in the development of kimchi dishes.
