지금까지 멀지 않은 미래 의 수학에 영향을 미치는 계산기계에 대해 생각해 보았는데 이 계산기계는 이론 보다는 실용, 언어보다는 행동, 존재의 설명 보다는 명확한 답변, 행동적인 것보다는 공식화된 정의, 구형상인 것 보다는 체적상, 무한한 것 보다는 유한한 것, 추상적인 것 보다는 구체적인 것, 인공적인 것 보다는 과학적인 것을 강조 하고 있읍니다. 시간이 경과 함에 기계의 사용이 널리 퍼질 것이며, 후학의 본질이 위험하고 불안정한 유동으로부터 서서히 변화해 나가기 때문에 더욱 더 체계적이고 명백한 과학으로 접근하고 있는 것입니다.

Laminitis is a common horse disease that causes pain and disability. One of the major causes of laminitis is carbohydrate overload, which leads to the overgrowth of gram-positive bacteria and subsequent toxemia. This study was performed to establish an experimental model of acute phase laminitis. A horse was fed with a bolus dose of oligofructose, examined for clinical signs and blood parameters, and euthanized for necropsy and histopathology. After administration, the horse exhibited clinical signs including watery feces, inappetence, severe lameness, pyrexia and tachycardia. Complete blood count showed increased hematocrit, lymphocytosis and neutropenia. Serum chemistry revealed hyperglycemia, hyperproteinemia, high level of glutamic oxalate transaminase, creatinine, uric acid and mild hyponatremia. Histologically, the lamina tissue was edematous with mild infiltration of inflammatory cells. These findings indicate that oligofructose-induced laminitis in horse is an appropriate model for studying pathogenesis of acute phase laminitis.
A short review of arsenic-induced toxicity

Arsenic is an environmental pollutant and is known to induce toxicity. Arsenic acts on cells through a variety of mechanisms, influencing numerous signal transduction pathways. It induces a variety of cellular effects such as apoptosis, growth inhibition, promotion or inhibition of differentiation and angiogenesis. Arsenic has been associated with cancers of the skin, bladder, lung, kidney, and liver as well as with noncancerous conditions, diabetes and hepatopathy. However, arsenic trioxide (ATO) was reported to induce remission in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). The anticancer efficiency of ATO was not restricted to APL; however, it has been extended to many solid tumors, including liver, cervical, prostate, lung, esophagus, and bladder tumors. Therefore, in this study, a number of previous studies are summarized that demonstrate arsenic-induced toxicity, including carcinogenesis and anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo. The arsenic metabolism that is involved in arsenic-induced toxicity is also discussed.

There is no reliable indicator available for the diagnosis of horse laminitis, although the disease is common and costly. This study was performed to develop a specific diagnostic biomarker for laminitis. We have identified 33 differentially expressed proteins in plasma of a horse suffering laminitis that is experimentally induced by an overdose of oligofructose, in comparison with normal horse plasma. Among the proteins, myosin-9 mRNA was found in RNA sequencing analysis to be expressed specifically in laminitis tissues compared to other horse tissues. It is thus suggested that expression of plasma myosin-9 may be used for the diagnosis of equine laminitis.

Exercise is one of the most common stressors in horses. Although various physiological parameters such as cortisol respond to exercise, there is no reliable parameter for the measurement of exercise-induced stress in sport horses. This study was performed to discover a new biomarker with high sensitivity for exercise-induced stress. The expression of fos mRNA was increased more than 10-fold in horse blood samples collected after an hour of exercise, as compared with before the exercise. The plasma cortisol levels were also increased after the exercise, but only by about two-fold. The fos mRNA levels were well-correlated with plasma cortisol concentrations. These findings suggest that fos mRNA expression in blood may be useful for the measurement of exercise-induced stress in horses.

Cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) is a xenobiotic metabolizing enzyme that is tissue-specifically expressed in the mammalian liver. In this study, the extent of CYP1A2 promoter methylation was analyzed to determine its potential role in the regulation of CYP1A2 in diethylnitrosamine (DEN)-induced mouse liver tumors. CYP1A2 mRNA was under-expressed about three fold in DEN-induced liver tumors compared to agematched control livers. The CYP1A2 promoter was hypermethylated in DEN-induced liver tumors compared to controls, especially in a promoter domain close to the coding region. These results suggest that promoter methylation is involved in the regulation of CYP1A2 in mouse liver tumors.
