Usually, cut-slope is the term that call rock slope. Therefore, the cause of instability of cut-slope is influenced generally in lithological and structure geological qualities including weathering disintegration. Through the several case studies, we could confirm that stabilization countermeasure also should be based in geological properties.

In rock mass, great many discontinuity exists that is caused to various factors of formation. But these are parted to some groups by specific category, so called these as discontinuity set. This discontinuity set has unique special characteristics in original rock mass, but for the moment, differ the special quality if external force such as digging etc.. acts, specially, change of stress condition. Also, geometrical relation change between discontinuity orientation and direction of excavation various characteristic is seen. Therefore, we introduce here the useful chart that can do specification these relation.

This study was carried out in order to effect on tunnel structure by acid mine drainage (A.M.D). There were investigated efflorescence, spalling and scaling as leaking acid mine water into the tunnel, which is situated in △ △ city Kangwon province. For effect on tunnel lining by acid mine water, it was executed to geologic survey, topographic survey and water examination. After carrying out these analyses, the limits which were effected by acid mine water were decided and there was proposed repair and reinforcement method.
핵석을 포함하는 풍화사면에서의 지구물리탐사 적용사례 연구

암반내의 핵석의 존재는 불안전한 요소로 작용하고 있으며 특히, 절개사면의 경우 노출이 되지 않더라도 핵석이 풍화정도의 차이에 따라 사면의 불연속면 증가 또는 강도 감소가 되며 사면의 낙석이나 붕괴등 사면 거동의 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 연구대상 사면은 20여년전 절개가 완료되어 일부분 사면보강을 완료하였으나 적은 강우에도 잦은 낙석이 발생하여 항구적인 안정대책이 시급한 실정이었다. 탄성파탐사와 사면지질조사 결과를 비교·분석하여 핵석의 분포특성 및 규모를 파악할 수 있었다. 또한 주변 암반사면에서 DIPS 프로그램을 이용한 평사투영을 실시하여 주변 풍화토 사면에서의 핵석분포특성 및 규모 파악에 대하여 검토하였다. Existence of core stone at the inside of the Rock mass is reacting as unstable element. In particular, in case of the cut slope, even when it is not exposed, slope`s discontinuity increases or strength level decreases depending on the difference in the weathering grade when it comes to the core stone, and reacts as an important element of the slope movement such as slope`s rock fall or collapse. As for the slope that is subject to study, incision was completed after 20 years or so, and parts of the slope reinforcement was completed, but frequent rock fall occurs despite small amount of rainfall, and permanent stability measures are urgent. Refractional seismic survey and geological survey results were compared and analyzed, and reliability was improved by complementing the two survey methods, and stereo-graphic projection using DIPS program was conducted to analyze the characteristics of oore stone in the weathered soil slope.
편마암 풍화사면에서의 지구물리탐사 및 안정성 해석 사례연구

암반사면은 다수의 불규칙한 패턴의 불연속면들이 내재되어 있는 불연속체로써 암반 내에 존재하는 절리는 암반의 수리적, 역학적 거동을 좌우하는 중요한 요소이다. 이러한 절리들의 수리적, 역학적인 특성은 각각 다르게 나타날 수 있으며, 이러한 특성은 사면 설계에 중요한 요소이다. 다수의 절리패턴을 가진 암반의 구조적 특성을 사면안정해석과 물리탐사 결과로부터 분석하여 지반의 구조적 문제점을 분석하였다. 본 연구지역은 5개 구간을 설정하여 총 5개 측선에 대해 전기비저항 쌍극자탐사를 실시하였으며, 20개 사면에 대해 SWEDGE 및 SLIDE 프로그램을 이용해 사면 안정성 해석을 함께 수행하였다. Rock slope has a variety of irregular discontinuities and represents a discontinuous mass. Rock joint plays an important role of control hydraulic and mechanic movements in the rock mass. These characteristics between hydraulic and mechanic movements at the rock joints could be represent difference. Therefore they are quiet important factor for slope design. In this study the weathered rock slopes were carried out to analysis of slope stability and geophysical survey. The electrical resistivity survey with dipole-dipole array conducted five profiling sites, and SWEDGE and SLIDE for slope stability analysis were applied on 20 rock slopes for assessment of slope stability and understand to geological situations due to the weathering.
