GMA welding process is a production process to improve productivity for the provision of higher welding quality of material. These includes numerous process variables that could affect welding quality, productivity and cost savings. Recently, the welding part of construction equipment had frequent failure of major components in the welding part of each subsidiary material due to shock which is very poor according to the welding part. Therefore, the implementation of sound welding procedure is the most decisive factor for the reliability of construction machinery. The data generated through experiments conducted in this study has validated its effectiveness for the optimization of bead geometry and process variables is presented. The criteria to control the process parameters, to achieve a good bead geometry. This study has developed mathematical models and algorithms to predict or control the bead geometry in GMA fillet welding process.
호이스트 및 크레인에 적용 가능한 안전후크와 X-jog 제품 설계 및 제작

본 연구에서는 크레인 작업시 발생하는 재해발생 사례를 토대로 호이스트의 중량물 이탈 방지에 대한 연구를 수행하였으며, 안전고리의 결합으로 구성된 종래의 체결방식을 벗어나 구조물의 무게에 의한 자동 체결 및 결합 방식의 후크 및 특수목적을 가진 X-jog를 설계 및 제작하여 현장에 적용하고자 하였다. 주요 기구부의 3차원 상세설계와 구조해석을 통해 Safety Hook와 X-jog의 미소변형과 허용응력 이하의 구조안정성을 확인하였으며, 안전율은 일반적인 구조설계시 고려되는 안전율 1.2를 상회하는 평균 1.5를 나타냄을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 연구에서의 Safety Hook와 X-jog는 구조물이 호이스트와 크레인에 부착되어 운용되어질시 구조적 안정성은 충분할 것으로 판단된다. In this study, we performed a study on prevention of the escape hoist heavy objects on the basis of the case of a disaster occurring during crane operations. A safety hook of the automatic fastening and coupling method by the conventional coupling method, the weight of the outside consisting of a combination of a safety ring structure was designed and manufactured. The main mechanism three-dimensional detail design and structural analysis confirmed the structure and stability of small strain than the allowable stress of the Safety Hook with X-jog through. Safety factor was confirmed to represent the average 1.5 to 1.2 higher than the safety factor to be considered in the general design structure. Therefore, Safety Hook and X-jog in the present study is to be operated upon structural stability is a structure attached to the hoist and crane are considered sufficient.

An increasingly competitive business environment has been concentrated on industries to reduce the operating costs. Industries such as gas, oil, petrochemical, chemical, and electric power have employed for the operation and used for large equipment or structures that require a high capital investment. In order to meet these requirements, the industries are increasingly moving toward saving the experimental verification and computer simulation. Therefore industries to reduce the maintenance costs without compromising the operational safety have been forced on finding for better and more efficient methods to inspect their equipment and structures. In this study, it focused on the development the real-time non-contract monitoring system as an efficient tool for the experimental study of weld defects based on the relationship between the measured voltage and input parameters.

Since welding process for most pipes with large diameter has been carried out by the manual process, automation of the welding process is necessary for the sake of consistent weld quality and improvement in productivity. In this study, an optimized algorithm to predict process variables for root-pass welding of pipeline in STT(Surface Tension Transfer) welding process has been proposed. A regression analysis and RSM(Response Surface Method) have been employed for optimization of the coefficients of linear and 2nd-orderinteraction models. Not only the fitting of these models were checked and compared by using a variance test (ANOVA), but also the predictions on back-bead width and height for carbon steel using the developed models were carried out.

Since welding process for most pipelines with large diameter has been carried out by the manual process, automation of the welding process is necessary for the sake of consistent weld quality and improvement in productivity. Therefore the development of the optimized algorithm to decide the welding condition is an effective technique to prove the feasibility of interface standards and intelligent control technology to increase productivity and reduce the cost of system integration. In this study, the pipe welding experiment has been carried out using plused GMA welding process to select optimal welding condition. And necessary information in root-pass welding has been obtained by applying in the pipeline using the selected welding conditions through the welding experiment.
