This paper describes the establishment of defense systems test works architecture model for the efficientoperation of an expanded test organization and the provision of standardized test services after the integration ofproving grounds in ADD. The system engineering vee model is applied to the defense system test works to definethe project management model and the unit-test management model. In order to establish the defense systems testworks architecture model, the process flow of test works, artifacts by life cycle, and interrelations betweenregulations and test works are explained, and Integrated Test Information System for implementation of architecturemodel is discussed. Through the defense systems test works architecture model presented in this study, it willcontribute to quickly responding to the test requirements of complex and diverse defense systems, efficientlymanaging projects, and providing standardized test services.

In this paper, the proper quantity of conditioning rounds has been studied using the statistical analysis on the basis of the acceptance test data of K676 and K677 propelling charge for K9 self propelled howitzer. In general, the muzzle velocity of the initial rounds tends to be a little lower than that of the succeeding rounds. The latter rounds are likely to have the constant velocities after firing the appropriate conditioning rounds. The main cause of velocity difference was proved to be the proper quantity of conditioning rounds by doing the correlation analysis among the initial tube temperature, the tube life and the quantity of conditioning rounds. The result of paired t-test shows that two rounds of conditioning projectiles are proved to be enough to maintain the constant velocity in the case of the acceptance test of K676 and K677 propelling charge.

This study proposes an evaluation method for time delay function(TDF) of Point Detonation(PD) fuse using underwater explosion and water entry phenomena. Until now, nothing but the naked eyes of an observer or video images have been used to determine whether the TDF of PD fuze is operated or not. The observer has verified the performance of TDF by analysing the shape of the plume formed by underwater explosion. However, it is very difficult to evaluate the TDF of PD fuse by these conventional methods. In order to overcome this issue, we propose a method using underwater sound signal emitted from the underwater explosion of high explosive charge. The result shows that the measured sound signal is in accord with the physical phenomena of water entry of warhead as well as underwater explosion. Also, from the hypothesis test of bubble period, difference on underwater sound analysis between dud event and delay one is proved.

Today, risks created by uncertainty must be managed for successful project execution. From this perspective,applying a risk management process is very important for successful defense systems test works. This paperdescribes ‘the implentation of risk management process for test work’ carried out by DTERI’s process improvementactivities. In this study, the concept of risk management process, and details of the risk management process areexamined through PMBOK and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, CMMI. After that, we defined ‘Standard Process for RiskManagement’ of defence systems test works. And, we describe ‘Risk Management Function’ of DTERI’s ProjectManagement System(PMS) and the risk management process of DTERI. Finally, the effectiveness of the riskmanagement standard process is verified through quantitative analysis.

With the proliferation of cloud computing infrastructures, service providers are able to deploy services in on-demand manner. Recently, microservice architecture has been attracting attention in order to maximize the efficiency of resource expansion in cloud infrastructure. Instead of implementing all of the service functions in a single software, service providers can easily and autonomously implement the necessary services by interconnecting the necessary services through an efficiently designed application programming interface (API). Moreover service developer can freely choice programming languages and define software, and functional structures to meet their functional requirements. In this paper, we propose virtual infrastructure manager service based on microservice architecture and evaluates its performance in scalability perspective.

Multi-homing mobile router separates network for user connection and network for internet access using various interfaces for internet access. This paper proposes a load balancing metric in order that multi-network mobile router distributes its traffic to one of several heterogeneous network interfaces. To evaluate the performance of the load balancing metric, experiments on traffic balancing is performed on real commercial networks were used in Korea and Hong Kong.
다지점 오픈플로우 사이트들을 위한 자동화된 연동 도구의 설계 및 구현

미래형 서비스 실증을 위해서 실험자들에게 소프트웨어-정의 네트워킹(Software-Defined Networking: SDN)과 클라우드 컴퓨팅(Cloud Computing: CC) 기반으로 융합된 컴퓨팅/네트워킹 자원들을 유연하게 제공하는 통합된 시험/실증 환경의 중요성이 확산되고 있다. 이러한 추세에 맞춰서 OF@TEIN (OpenFlow @ Trans Eurasian Information Network) 시험/실증 환경에서는 국내외 다수 지역들에 가상화를 지원하는 융합형 자원인 SmartX Rack들을 설치하고 이들을 오픈플로우(OpenFlow) 기반의 SDN에 의해 연동하여 활용한다. 본 논문에서는 다지점에 설치된 오픈플로우 사이트들을 2계층 이더넷(Ethernet) 차원에서 연동할 때 원하는 토폴로지에 부합하도록 NVGRE(network virtualized generic route encapsulation) 터널링을 자동으로 설정하고 관제하는 관리도구를 소개한다. 제안한 관리 도구를 활용하면 운용자는 다수의 오픈플로우 사이트들간의 네트워크 연동을 신속하고 효율적으로 관리할 수 있고, 이와 동시에 실험자들은 원하는 가상화된 사용자 네트워크(virtual tenant network)를 최대한 자율적으로 구성하고 활용할 수 있다. To realize futuristic services with agility, the role of the experimental facility (i.e., testbed) based on integrated resources has become important, so that developers can flexibly utilize the dynamic provisioning power of software-defined networking and cloud computing. Following this trend, an OpenFlow-based SDN testbed environment, denoted as OF@TEIN, connects multiple sites with unique SmartX Racks (i.e., virtualization-enabled converged resources). In this paper, in order to automate the multi-point L2 (i.e., Ethernet) inter-connection of OpenFlow islands, we introduce an automated tool to configure the required Network Virtualization using Generic Routing Encapsulation (NVGRE) tunneling. With the proposed automation tool, the operators can efficiently and quickly manage network inter-connections among multiple OpenFlow sites, while letting developers to control their own traffic flows for service realization experiments.
