2004년 4월 우리나라에 고속열차를 운행한지 5년이 되었다. 프랑스 TGV열차를 한국형 지형과 환경에 최적으로 개량한 열차가 KTX열차이다. 고속열차에 대한 연구와 개발로 차량의 외형적장치 설계는 독자적인 설계 능력을 갖추었으나, 고속열차 열차제어진단장치 설계는 모방의 수준에 머물러 있다. KTX의 열차의 진단제어데이터를 분석하기 위해 VME 분석장비를 사용하여 수집하는 방법과 제어데이터구조를 분석하여, 열차제어진단장치에 대한 운용능력과 설계능력을 갖추어야 한다. 다양한 고속열차가 선로에 운용됨에 따라 철도운용자에게 필요한 다양한 열차제어진단에 대한 사전 대비를 함으로서, 고속열차 안전운행과 운용경비 절감을 위해 필요하다. 단일화된 열차제어진단 설계로 한국형고속열차 제작 능력뿐만 아니라, 운용능력 향상으로 고속철도 운영국가로서 위상이 확립되어야 한다. It has been 5 years since KTX high speed train was operated by KORAIL in Korea in April 2004. As for KTX train, France TGV was optimally renovated to make it, considering Korean geographical and environmental features. The research and development about KTX make it possible that train's exterior device design has the original design capability but, KTX train control & diagnosis design remains in the level of imitation. In order to analyze KTX train's diagnosis & control data, there are a collection method, using VME analysis device and method of analyzing control data structure and the operating and design capability about train control & diagnosis device should be secured. As the various high speed trains are operated in tracks, high speed train's safety driving and reduction of expense are necessary, by preparing in advance various train diagnosis & control which is indispensable to train operator. With the simplified train diagnosis & control design, Korean type high speed train's manufacture capability and operating capability should be improved and Korea's international status as a nation of operating high speed train should be established.
고속열차(KTX)의 TORNAD 네트워크시스템 데이터 분석방법 연구

KTX train system is composed of TORNAD* network for transmitting information of train"s internal equipments and OBCS which proceed information within train. OBCS of one trainset consisted of 28 equipments takes intelligent and dynamic composition according to equipment handling, train command and control flow. Each OBCS which is installed within trainset handle and supervise mutually action information about equipments, transmit it to driver to transmit information about train operation and preventive management. This mutual supervision and information transmission use KTX TORNAD* network system. TORNAD* network system is the one which is uniquely developped by GEC ALSTHOM, the KTX trainset manafacturing provider and this field is excluded from technical know-how transfer item. Through the research on analysis method of KTX TORNAD* system data structure which is operating on Seoul-Pusan Line, I hope that this thesis can contribute to train network system"s standardization after applying it to improvement of train network system maintenance, enhancing quality of train service and applying it to future Korean rolling stock network system development.

KTX control systems mutually control OBCS, ATC, MBU, TECA, MDT, ABU, HVAC, TRAE, PID and FDTR, KTX OBCS as master, and controls other sub-control devices as slave, using various serial lines. In order to analyze physical structure of various serial link lines and mutual data transmission structure, serial line analyzer is used in many ways. To use serial line analyzer, prior and professional technics about High Speed Train and experience of using device are necessary. In spite of difficult situation of space and environment where we work for maintenance of High Speed Train, in presenting basic structure about physical connection method aquired by sub-device serial line data collection and about communication data analysis, I hope that this research will be helpful for the person who work for similar area. Also, I hope that this research will help diagnostic work of High Speed Train, which is necessary for test run of independently developed High Speed Train.

KTX 고속열차는 차량설계시 정비검사(systematic and conditional preventive maintenance)주기를 일일 2,500㎞ 주행거리 운행을 기준으로 산정한다. KTX 개통초기 기술이전으로 제공 된 절차와 방법으로 차량정비를 시행하였다. 정비기간 유지보수효과가 동기간 운행수입보다 효과적인 정비원칙을 세우고, 차량운용 최적화와 차량성능보장이 되도록 정비원칙을 개선하고 업무의 피드백을 추구한다. 차량예방정비 최소단위인 일상검수(Examination in Service) 이후에 양쪽 동력차 운전실에서 시행되는 검수종료후 자동출고검사(exit test-checks from maintenace-shop after preventive maintenance)와 도착출발검사 (arrival-predeparture test-check) 프로시져를 분석하고, 차량 운전실내에서 차량의 상태검사를 확인하는 절차에 따른 점검항목에 대한 분석으로 안전성과 규정성이 강한 장치에 대한 검사절차에 대한 기준을 체계화하고, 향후 차량정비도 향상 및 도중고장예방으로, 고속열차운영 효율화 및, 고속열차 자동출고검사 표준화에 기여 할 것으로 기대한다. At the time of transet design, the cycle of systematic and conditional preventive maintenance for KTX trainset is 2,500 ㎞ based on daily running distance. Initially when new technology for KTX was introduced from abroad, maintenance and repair works were carried out with the procedures and methods provided by technology transfer. The maintenance procedure was established and carried out in such a way that the maintenance effect during the maintenance period was more effective than the income during the same period. In order to optimize train operation and performance, the maintenance principles must be observed and feedback of improvements must be promoted. We will analyze the exit test-checks from maintenance shop after preventive maintenance and arrival-predeparture test-check procedures that are carried out by both drive cabins after daily examination in service which is the minimum unit of train preventive maintenance. We will also systematize the standards for test procedures for devices that are important for safety and regulation through detailed analysis of the checkpoints in accordance with the procedure for train status check in the driver's cabin. Furthermore, we will prevent high speed train breakdown during operation and improve KTX trainset maintenance level which are expected to contribute to the higher efficiency of high speed train operation and to the standardization of exis test-checks from maintenance shop after preventive maintenance.

Pro-inflammatory cytokine인 종양괴사인자-α (TNF-α)는 B형 간염바이러스(HBV) 감염에 대한 면역반응의 중요한 매개인자이다. TNF-α의 생산은 전사수준에서 주로 조절되며, TNF-α promoter 다형성은 TNF-α 유전자 발현을 변화시키기 때문에, TNF-α promoter 다형성이 만성 HBV 감염의 병태생리에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 높다. 그러므로I 본 연구에서는 TNF-α promoter 다형성과 만성 HBV 감염의 연관성을 조사하였다. 본 연구는 만성 HBV 감염환자 181명, HBV 감염이 자연적으로 치유된 201명, 그리고 건강한 대조군 170명을 대상으로 하였다. TNF-α promoter의 -308G/A와 -238G/A 다형성은 PCR-RFLP법을 통하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 환자군에서 -308과 -238 유전자형의 분포는 자연치유군 및 건강대조군에서의 분포와 통계적인 차이를 보이지 않았다(p>0.05). 또한, 그룹 간에 allele frequency도 통계적 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 따라서, 본 연구의 결과는 한국인에서 TNF-α -308과 -238 promoter 다형성은 만성 B형 간염 바이러스 감염의 발생과 연관성이 없음을 시사한다. The pro-inflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) is an important mediator of the immune response in hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Since the production of TNF-α is mostly regulated at the transcriptional level and polymorphisms in the TNF-α promoter alter its expression, TNF-α promoter polymorphisms could affect the pathogenesis of chronic HBV infection. In this study, we investigated the potential association of TNF-α promoter polymorphisms with chronic HBV infection. The study included 181 patients with chronic HBV infection, 201 persons who had been spontaneously recovered from hepatitis B, and 170 unrelated healthy controls. The -308G/A and -238G/A polymorphisms in the TNF-α promoter were analyzed by PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism. The distribution of both the -308 and -238 genotypes in the patient group was not statistically different from that in the spontaneous recovery and control groups (p>0.05). There was also no significant difference in the allele frequency between the groups (p>0.05). The results suggest that the TNF-α -308 and -238 promoter polymorphisms are not associated with the development of chronic HBV infection in the Korean population.

Primary human hepatocytes are used for cell transplantation and bioartificial liver system for supporting patients with intractable liver diseases. Efficient cryopreservation of human hepatocytes is of great interest. To improve the cryopreservation outcome of human hepatocytes, effects of intracellular-type cryopreservation solutions and apoptosis inhibitor were investigated. Hepatocytes were isolated from the resected livers from 10 patients with intrahepatic stones or tumors. Isolated hepatocytes were cryopreserved usingeither culture media with 10% DMSO, CryoStor CS5, or University of Wisconsin(UW) solution with 10% DMSO. CryoStor CS5 significantly improved the post-thaw cell viability assessed by MTT test, the recovery of viable cells, and the plating efficiency compared to the culture media-based solution. UW solution also showed some beneficial effects on the cryopreservation outcome, but the effects were not statistically significant except the improved 24 hours post-thaw viability. On the other hand, inhibition of apoptosis by a pan-caspase inhibitor Z-VAD-fmk showed no effects on the cryopreservation outcome. These results demonstrate the usefulness of the intracellular-type cryopreservation solutions and CryoStor CS5 is superior to UW solution for the cryopreservation of human hepatocytes.

Using network communication, KTX OBCS is KTX"s core device which inspects operation status of various electric equipments and supports driving command, train control, train"s maintenance, train crew"s driving. Since this device is manufactured as specialized system, being dependent on TGV manufacture specification and France"s high speed train operation method, actual technic transfer is difficult. Therefore, there are many difficulties, since most of interface signals are connected with OBCS when function improvement, maintenance, various electric equipments(propulsion control device, auxiliary power supply device, door control device etc.) are replaced with localized ones, which are required in operational view after introduction of KTX. Ergo, this study would like to contribute to function improvement and maintenance"s efficiency, furthermore to realize technical independence, escaping from dependency of developed foreign technology in high speed train and electric equipments, through KTX OBCS" function analysis and mutual interface information analysis with peripheral device(driver console, PID system, fault display device, various electric equipments).

D-raf, a Drosopihila hornolog of Raf-1, functions as a signal transducer in cell proliferation and differentiation. The reporter plasmid p5'-1103 Draf-lacZ fused the Draf gene regulatory region (-1103∼+300 with respect to the translation initiation site) with the lacZ gene in a P-element vector was constructed. Expression of the Draf-lacZ fusion gene was demonstrated in Kc cells by transient expression assay. Transgenic lines bearing Draf-lacZ fusion gene were established by P-element mediated transformation with the reporter plasmid. Spatial pattern of the Draf-lacZ expression in transgenic embryos and ovaries was similar to the distribution of the endogenous D-raf transcripts examined by in situ hybridization in previous study. We first report the expression of D-raf gene in larval fat body analogous to the vertebrate liver and in testis and anterior ejaculatory duct of adult male. And our results show that the regulatory region is sufficient for expression of the D-raf gene. Draf-lacZ transgenic flies obtained in this study promise to be useful for studying multiple roles and regulation of expression of D-raf gene.
