Brucella abortus 국내 분리주의 Heat Shock Protein 암호 groE 유전자의 염기서열 분석과 발현

GroE that is a heat shock protein composed of GroEL and GroES is known as an immunodominant target of both the humoral and cellular immune responses in bovine brucellosis. This study was carried out to characterize groE gene encoding heat shock proteins of B. abortus isolated in Korea and to evaluate the immunogenicity of the GroE protein expressed in E. coli system. In PCR the specific signals with the size of 2,077 bp were detected in five strains isolated from the mammary lymphnodes of the dairy cattle that were serologically positive and the reference strains. In comparison of the sequences of nucleotides and amino acids among the strains, GroES showed 100% identity in both sequences. GroEL was evaluated 99.0~99.9% in nucleotides and 98.0~100% homology in amino acids. The groE gene including groES and groEL was inserted into pET29a vector and constructed pET29a-GroE recombinant plasmids. The inserted groE was confirmed by digestion with Nco1 and EcoR1 endonucleases and nucleotide sequencing. E. coli BL (DE3) was transformed with pET29a-GroE, named as E. coli BL (DE3)/pET29a-GroE. In SDS-PAGE, it was evident that the recombinant plasmid effectively expressed the polypeptides for GroES (10 kDa) and GroEL (60 kDa) in 0.5, 1 and 2 hours after IPTG induction. The immuno-reactivity of the expressed proteins were proved in mouse inoculation and Western blot analysis.

다단계 온도 감지막을 가진 마이크로 흐름센서의 열전달 특성

마이크로 흐름센서는 반도체 집적기술을 이용할 수 있어, 소형으로 제작이 가능하며 빠른 응답특성을 가져 다양한 분야에 응용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 넓은 흐름의 세기 영역에서 정밀한 감도를 가지는 2차원의 마이크로 흐름센서를 실리콘 기판위에 적충시켜 제작하였다. 흐름센서의 중앙에 하나의 히터와 양측에 온도를 검출할 수 있는 3쌍의 감지막을 가진 새로운 센서 구조를 제안하고, 온도 검출에 대한 성능평가를 위하여 시간영역에서의 유한차분법을 이용하여 공기흐름의 세기 변화에 따른 온도분포를 계산하였다. 계산결과를 통하여 실제 흐름센서의 동작을 정량적으로 분석하였다. A micro flow sensor on silicon substrate allows the fabrication of small components where many different functions can be integrated so that the functionality of the sensors can be increased. Further more, the small size of the elements these sensors can be quite fast. A thermal mass flow sensor measures the asymmetry of temperature profile around the heater which is modulated by the fluid flow. In normal, a mass flow sensor is composed of a central heater and a pair of temperature sensing elements around the heater A new 2-D wide range micro flow sensor structure with three pairs of temperature sensors and a central heater was proposed and numerically simulated by Finite Difference formulation to confirm the feasibility of the flow sensor structure in time domain.

비침투형 공격에 강한 다중 유전체 코팅 설계

In general, IC chip circuit which is operating a cryptographic computation tends to radiate stronger electromagnetic signal to the outside. By using a power detecter such as a loop antenna near cryptographic device, the encryption key can be identified by probing a electromagnetic signal. To implement a method against non-invasive type attack, multi dielectric slab structure on IC chip to suppress radiated electromagnetic signal was introduced. Multiple dielectric slab was implemented by suitably configured to have the Bragg reflection characteristics, and then the reflection response was computed and verified its effectiveness. As a result, the thickness of the dielectric coating was 2mm and the reflection response characteristics for the vertical incidence was achieved to be 91% level. 일반적으로 암호연산이 수행되는 IC 칩 회로는 강한 전자기 신호를 외부로 방사시키는 경향이 있다. 암호 칩 근방에서 루프 안테나와 같은 전력 수집 계측 장비를 활용하면 계측된 전자기 신호에 의해 암호 키의 동정이 가능하다. 이와 같은 비침투형 공격에 대응하기 위한 한 방법으로서 IC 칩 외부로 방사되는 전자기 신호를 억압하기 위해 칩 상부에 다중 유전체 슬래브 구조를 가지도록 구성하는 방법을 도입하였다. 다중 유전체 슬래브는 Bragg 반사특성을 가지도록 적절하게 구성하여 구현하였고 반사응답 특성을 구하여 그 유효성을 검증하였다. 실험결과로서 유전체 코팅의 두께는 2mm로서 수직 입사파에 대한 반사응답 특성은 91% 수준을 달성하였다.

Urinary disturbance is deficit in volitional control of voiding. Stroke can cause temporary or permanent urinary disturbance. The purpose of this study was to confirm the effect of Jasin-hwan on urinary disturbance as heat syndrome. This study was carried out on 3 patients with urinary disturbance caused by stroke. We measured components of IPSS (international prostate symptom score) at pre-treatment and post-treatment. After prescribing medication to the patients, symptoms improved rapidly within three weeks. These results support that Jasin-hwan is effective in reduction of urinary disturbance as heat syndrome.

복제 방지용 PUF 모델링을 위한 전자계 해석

본 논문에서는 Debye 분산 특성을 가지는 복제 방지용 PUF를 설계하기 위한 전자계 해석 방안을 고려하였다. 공기층과 유전체 기판 위에 형성된 분산매질(Si)로 구성된 1차원 모델 내에 전파하는 펄스를 모형하기 위해 FDTD법을 이용하였다. 불연속 경계면에 도달한 펄스는 일부 반사되고 일부는 투과되어 빠르게 감쇠되는 것으로 나타났다. 그 결과 FDTD법에 의한 유전체 기판을 고려한 Debye 분산특성을 가지는 1차원 복제방지용 PUF 모델링에 적용 가능한 것을 확인하였다. Electromagnetic analysis to design unclonable PUFs with frequency-dependant materials with Debye dispersion was considered. To simulate FDTD calculations consider that 1-D problem of pulsed plane wave traveling in free space normally incident on air-silicon material interface on dielectric substrate. The pulse traveling wave at a vacuum-medium interface was reflected, and transmitted wave was dissipated. As a result, 1-D PUF modeling with Debye dispersion on dielectric substrate structure can be applied and FDTD calculation for PUF modeling is a good approximation.

TLM법을 이용한 Soret 타입 프레넬 존 플레이트 렌즈 안테나 해석

In order to analyze the receiver gain characteristic of the Soret-type FZPL lens antenna which is operated at 12GHz, TLM method can be applied. The application of the FZPL lens antenna is often use the receiver for satellite TV system, radio telescope, and Geodetic System. Some numerical results computed by TLM method are compared with Kirchhoff's approximation and PO method. The focal characteristic of receiver gain on main axis of the FZPL is mostly shown at the front side, which means that the position of the receiver should be properly calibrated. 위성 TV 시스템, 전파 망원경, 측지 시스템 등에 응용 가능한 Soret 타입 프레넬 존 플레이트 렌즈 안테나의 수신이득 특성을 해석하기 위하여 TLM법으로 계산을 수행하였다. TLM법에 의한 계산결과를 확인하기 위하여 키르히호프 및 PO법에 의한 광학 해와 비교하였다. 계산 결과, 12 GHz대의 FZPL의 중심축 상에서의 수신 특성은 설계 초점거리와 비교하여 짧게 형성되는 것을 확인하였으며, 이는 수신기의 위치가 적절히 조정되어야 하는 것을 의미한다.

Tremor is a rhythmic and involuntary muscular contraction characterized by oscillations of a part of the body. The most common of all involuntary movements, tremor can affect various body parts such as hands, head, facial structures, vocal cords, trunk, and legs; most tremors, however, occur in the hands. Clinically, tremor is classified into postural tremor, resting tremor, action tremor, and other kinds of tremor, and treated according to the causes. The author reports the improvement of the patient, hospitalized at Dong Seo Medical Center, whose tremor was not classified specifically in western medicine but was diagnosed as Ganhyeolbujok (肝血不足) by Korean medicine.
