Generally data loading is a laborous job to develop models. Meteorological data is basic input data for hydrological models, it is provided through websites of Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). The website of KMA provides daily meteorological observation data with tabular format classified by years, items, stations. It is cumbersome to manipulate tabular format for model inputs such as time series and multi-item or multi-station data. The provider oriented services which broadcast restricted formed information have caused inconvenient processes. Tim O'Reilly introduces "Web 2.0" which focuses on providing a service based on data. The top ranked IT companies such as google, yahoo, daum, and naver provide customer oriented services with Open API (Application Programming Interface). A RESTful web service, typical implementation for Open API, consists URI request and HTTP response which are simple and light weight protocol than SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol). The aim of this study is to develop a web-based service that helps loading data for human use instead of machine use. In this study, the developed RESTful web service provides Open API for manipulating meteorological data. The proposed Open API can easily access from spreadsheet programs, web browsers, and various programming environments.
연결성과 소통구조 모듈을 통한 차세대 범용 농업시스템 시뮬레이터 (GASS2)의 개발

The purpose of this study is to improve the Generic Agricultural Systems Simulator (GASS) which can simulate various rural systems based on object-oriented model. GASS provides the configuration platform of various system components to simplify integrated agricultural system models such as irrigation systems for rice farming. The new connection and communication modules of GASS improve applicability for modelling diverse systems. The geometric connection of GASS replaces topological connection, and communication protocols expand to analyze not only homogeneous system but also heterogeneous system. In this paper, we applied GASS2 to simulate the water heights of linked tanks and the simulation outputs were verified through comparing with analytical solutions of differential equations. The two new modules make it possible to analyze the 4-tank problem which includes topological and heterogenous issues with GASS2.
Fabrication of Highly Stable a-Si:H Solar Cells

We fabricated highly stable a-Si:H solar cell using low band gap intrinsic layer fabricated by RP-CVD. We obtained a-Si:H with optical band gap of less than 1.65 eV with deposition rate of 0.18 $\AA$/sec, and used this material as bottom i-layer of a-Si:H double stacked solar cells. We have succeeded in the fabrication of very stable a-Si:H double stacked solar cell of which the conversion efficiency is about 9% and the degradation is less than 4% after light illumination for 100h under 350mW/cm$^{2}$.

This study examines the spatial structure of Jeju-eupseong (Town-castle) in the Joseon Dynasty. The spatial structure of Jeju-eupseong has distinctive features and regional characteristics that are substantially different from typical eupseong in inland regions. This is mainly attributed to the geographical characteristics of the island and the administrative system with strengthened military functions. Jeju-eupseong displays a distinctive layout of major buildings and road system with a plaza located in its center in comparison with the ones found in inland regions. Gwandeokjeong Plaza in Jeju-eupseong served as the center of Jeju's politics, administration, and culture during the Joseon Dynasty, and it, in the modernization period, has become an open public space in the heart of Old Downtown used for community gatherings. Therefore, this study aims to explore the historical background and distinctive spatial structure of Jeju-eupseong in comparison with eupseong in other parts of Korea. Moreover, the study examines the characteristics of Gwandeokjeong as a plaza that has not been dealt with in other studies of eupseong.

The case series is a descriptive study that follows a group of patients who have a similar diagnosis or who are undergoing the same procedure and is the most prevalent type of research in the field of plastic surgery. Results of case series can generate hypotheses that are useful in designing further studies, including randomized controlled trials or a prospective cohort study. However, no causal inferences should be made from case series regarding the efficacy of the investigated treatment. The authors provide a guide to the design and report on the case series.
