Objectives ; This study was undertaken to determine whether Carthami-Flos aquacapuncture (CFA) exerts protective effect against oxidant-induced inhibition of $Na^+-K^+$-ATPase activity in cerebral synaptosomes. Methods and Results ; The enzyme activity was dependent on incubation time and enzyme protein concentrations. An oxidant t-butylhydroperoxide (tBHP) at 1 mM concentration caused a significant inhibition of $Na^+-K^+$-ATPase activity, which was prevented by addition of 0.01% CFA. tBHP inhibition and CFA protection were independent on incubation time or enzyme protein concentrations. The enzyme activity was increased by ATP in a dose dependent manner. Effects of tBHP and CFA were not affected by ATP cocentrations. tBHP (1 mM) produced a significant increase in lipid peroxidation in cerebral synaptosomes, which was prevented by 0.01% CFA. CFA decreased oxygen free radicals generated induced by the phorbol-ester in a dose-dependent manner in human neutrophil. Conclusions ; These results suggest that CFA exerts protective effect against tBHP-induced inhibition of $Na^+-K^+$-ATPase activity, which is due to by an antioxidant action resulting from a direct scavenging effect of oxygen free radicals in the cerebral synaptosomes.

at the design phase and the effective design phase VE application, it is not sufficient to implement VE study at the design phase in the domestic construction industry. The method for estimating design phase VE consulting Fee regulated in current guideline and the insufficient incentive system according to the result of design phase VE application are major problems among the problems related to the roadblock of the active implementation Design phase VE. In this paper, firstly the current methods for estimating Engineering business consulting fee analogous to design phase VE and the domestic and foreign design VE consulting fee were examined, and detailed problems related to the method for estimating design VE consulting fee were indicated, and the Improvement direction were established. Secondly, the estimating strategy for the design phase VE consulting fee and the payment strategy of incentive according to the result of savings were proposed. Finally, the strategies were verified by interview with the experts. 설계단계에서 VE를 적용하면 커다란 효과를 볼 수 있음에도 불구하고 국내에서는 설계단계의 VE가 활성화되지 못하고 있다. 특히 적절한 VB수행에 대한 적절한 용역대가 산정 기준의 부재는 설계VE의 적극적 활용을 가로막는 주요원인이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 설계YE와 유사한 용역업무의 대가산정 현황과 국내외 설계YE 용역대가 산정현황을 분석하여 현재 YE 용역대가 산정의 주요한 문제점을 도출하고 개선방향을 제시하였다. 다음으로 VE 용역대가 산정방안과 수행결과에 따른 인센티브 지급 방안을 제시하였다 마지막으로 면담을 통해 제안된 방안의 유효성을 검증하였다.

Although the leprosy has been existing since pre-history age, the treatment, however, has not been sucessful yet, thus, it has caused a serious social problem. Many leprologists have devoted themselves to find out a good method for the precise diagnosis and treatment of leprae. One of the best technical methods to differentiate between Hansen``s bacillus and other baci1lus is to compare the staining property of A.F.B. According to the recent experiments, the modified Ziehl-Neelsen``s staining method is thought to be the outstanding in detection of the Hansen``s bacillus. Hansen``s baci11us, one of the acid-fast baci1li, should be stained with carbol fuchsin longer than other acid-fast bacilli. It is necessary to decolorize with the lower concentration of alcohol.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality characteristics of Gamgyul-Injeulmi containing different ratios of Citrus mandarin powder(0, 3, 6, 9 and 12%). The moisture content of the control group was 45.37%. As the ratio of Citrus mandarin powder increased, moisture content decreased. The water holding capacity of glutinous rice flour with Citrus mandarin powder decreased gradually in proportion to the amount of Citrus mandarin powder added. An analysis of Hunter`s color values for Gamgyul-Injeulmi indicate that the addition of Citrus mandarin powder leads to lower L value and higher a and b value compared to the control. Textural analysis of Gamgyul-Injeulmi showed that the hardness, cohesiveness, gumminess and chewiness increased as Citrus mandarin powder was added, whereas adhesiveness and springiness decreased. According to the sensory evaluation of Gamgyul-Injeulmi, as the ratio of Citrus mandarin powder was increased, the flavor, sweetness and hardness all increased. Gamgyul-Injeulmi with 6% Citrus mandarin powder was rated as the best in terms of color and for overall preference in the sensory evaluation.
