In the present work, the image processing technique for measurement of drop sizes has been improved. Firstly, the local processing concept was adopted in addition to the global processing technique to take account of non-uniformity of the illumination intensity ; thereby, basically, the measurement error can be reduced. Also, the unfocussed image of drops can be eliminated more precisely since the elimination process is based on the local normalized contrast. Secondly the algorithms to process the partially detected or overlapped drop images and the non-spherical drop images were developed. Finally, the improved algorithm was tested by using an artificially prepared image-frame, where the partial or overlapped particles and the non-spherical particles are mixed with the normal spherical ones (with their true size-distributions known a priori). The results showed that both the recognition rate of the number of particles and the measurement accuracy were improved prominently.

The present study investigated an ethanol extract (HS0608) of a mixture of three medicinal plants of Curcuma longae radix, Phellinus linteus, and Scutellariae radix for possible neuroprotective effects on neurotoxicity induced by amyloid $\beta$ protein ($A{\beta}$) (25-35) in cultured rat cortical neurons and antidementia activity in mice. Exposure of cultured cortical neurons to $10\;{\mu}M$ $A{\beta}$ (25-35) for 36 h induced neuronal apoptotic death. At $1-50\;{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, HS0608 inhibited neuronal death, elevation of intracellular calcium concentration ($[Ca^{2+}]_i$), and generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) induced by $A{\beta}$ (25-35) in primary cultures of rat cortical neurons. Memory loss induced by intracerebroventricular injection of ICR mice with 15 nmol $A{\beta}$ (25-35) was inhibited by chronic treatment with HS0608 (25, 50 and 100 mg/kg, p.o. for 7 days) as measured by a passive avoidance test. From these results, we suggest that the antidementia effect of HS0608 is due to its neuroprotective effect against $A{\beta}$ (25-35)-induced neurotoxicity and that HS0608 may have a therapeutic role in preventing the progression of Alzheimer's disease.

Moutan cortex, the root bark of Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews (Paeoniaceae), has pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, analgesic and antioxidant activities. We investigated a methanol extract of Moutan cortex for neuroprotective effects on neurotoxicity induced by amyloid ${\beta}$ protein ($A{\beta}$) (25-35) in cultured rat cortical neurons. Exposure of cultured cortical neurons to $10\;{\mu}M\;A{\beta}$ (25-35) for 24 h induced neuronal apoptotic death. Moutan cortex inhibited $10\;{\mu}M\;A{\beta}$ (25-35)-induced neuronal cell death at 30 and $50\;{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, which was measured by a 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyl-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay and Hoechst 33342 staining. Moutan cortex inhibited $10\;{\mu}M\;A{\beta}$ (25-35)-induced elevation of intracellular calcium concentration ($[Ca^{2+}]_i$), and generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) which were measured by fluorescent dyes. Moutan cortex also inhibited glutamate release into medium induced by $10\;{\mu}M\;A{\beta}$ (25-35), which was measured by HPLC. These results suggest that Moutan cortex prevents $A{\beta}$ (25-35)-induced neuronal cell damage by interfering with the increase of $[Ca^{2+}]_i$, and then inhibiting glutamate release and ROS generation. Moutan cortex may have a therapeutic role in preventing the progression of Alzheimer's disease.

An experimental study was conducted to examine the internal flow patterns inside the mixing chamber of effervescent atomizers. The mixing chamber has the rectangular cross section ($8mm{\times}2mm$) and made of transparent acrylic plate for flow visualization. The parameters tested were the air/liquid ratio (ALR), injection. pressure, and the nozzle orifice diameter. Three different flow regimes were observed; bubbly, annular, and intermittent flows. In the bubbly flow regime, the discharged mixture was disintegrated into drops through the bubble expansion and the ligament breakup. On the other hand, in the annular flow regime, the liquid annulus was disintegrated into small drops by the aerodynamic interaction between the phases due to the high relative velocities between the gas and the liquid. In the intermittent flow regime, the bubble-expansion/ligament-disintegration mode and the annulus-disintegration mode appeared alternatively. The correlations representing the transition criteria between the two-phase flow patterns within the mixing chamber were proposed based on the drift-flux models.

The 1988 Seoul Olympic Games have a symbolic meaning in the development of Korean sports. Therefore, it is necessary to look at the activities of Kim Jong-Ha (1934-2019), the 29th president of the KSOC at the time of the Seoul Olympics. Kim Jong-Ha's background was a handball player. Kim Jong-Ha, who served as the 29th president of the KSOC. For this purpose, this study referred to Kim Jong-Ha's oral materials, memoirs, and monthly magazine sports. Kim Jong-ha played as a handball player in high school, and went to the Korea Military Academy. As the 29th president of the Korea Sports Association, he remained faithful to his duties as a full-time sports chairman. Kim Jong-Ha's activities take a look at the direction of the 5th Republic's sports policy. Although attention has been focused on the achievements of the Seoul Olympics, research on various people is needed to find the meaning of hosting the Seoul Olympics in the future.
동아시아 무도의 체육 및 스포츠 변용: 유도에 내재된 서구의 영향을 중심으로

East Asian martial arts has changed continuously from military tactics to physical education and sports, even olympic sports. Under the name of globalization, East Asian martial arts proceed without stopping change to be global sport. This research was influenced by Western influence of the East Asian history to illuminate a process, guided by making case with the impact of the British and the United States on to examine. Judo transformed from originally jujitsu(柔術) as military tactics, and changed the Meiji Restoration induction of judo(柔道) as physical education level, after then the second world war as sport judo(Judo). Most studies been focused on these changes by Gigoro Kano and the other Japanese’effort. But actually these changes contributed largely by England and the United States. A historical example by Western Influence may require to anguish a identity of East Asian martial arts as current named ‘martial art sport’or‘sport martial art’.

This study is focused on affect of filtering in seabed geometry, with steep slopes and smooth surfaces by processing four post-processing software programs, CARIS HIPS and PDS2000 and compared each post-processing program's filtering affects. MutiBeam EchoSounder System (MBES) survey was conducted to process large MBES data based on theoretical error analysis in Yokjido, the South Sea of Korea. Approximately 40 km survey lines were acquired by RESON SEABAT 7125 in Jan., 2008. The swath filter which is divided into spike detection, swath reduction and sonar quality showed different results by each parameter in the two post-processing programs. These filters affected well on the smooth surfaces but all of the factors were not needed. One of them Swath reduction was not affected in steep slopes. The efficiency of the CUBE algorithm was increased in its determination of the most likely depth. The tuned parameters showed a more realistic estimation of the depth and increase the hypothesis strength, especially in those areas affected by steep slopes and rough seafloor. We need another approach could be followed using a median binned depth estimate to form an effective initialization surface after this.
유아기 자녀를 가진 어머니가 인식하는 창의성 교육에 대한 질적 연구

This study observes the perceptions of mothers with young children regarding the creativity of education along with demands for the vitalization of parent education and attempts to present direction for parent education regarding the creativity of education. According to research purposes, mothers with young children were recruited in numbers of ten by region through the message board of S Department Store during the months of July and August in 2018. Data composition was made through the opinions and conversations of mothers residing in D, M, H, and C and data analysis was based on the analysis procedure of Creswell. Research results showed, first, that perceptions of creativity were shown to be ‘new ideas of diversity’, ‘survival methods’, ‘the creation of anxiety through incorrect information delivered through rumors’. Second, education rewards that encompassed the opinions of parents towards creativity included ‘education that suits development’, ‘education connected with actual life’, ‘education that feels sincere’, and ‘practical education’. The results of this study revealed the vagueness of creativity through evaluation tools and prior learning and it proposed proper perceptions and direction regarding education for the vitalization of creative education in the primary environment of the home. 본 연구는 유아기 자녀 어머니가 인식하는 창의성교육에 대한 어머니의 인식 및 부모교육 활성화를 위한 요구를 살펴봄으로써 창의성에 대한 부모교육의 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구 목적에 따라 2018년 7 ~ 8월에 걸쳐 유아기 어머니를 대상으로 S백화점 게시판을 통해 지역별로 10명씩 모집하였다. D지역, G지역, H지역, K지역에 거주하는 어머니들의 목소리와 대화를 통해 구성하였으며 자료 분석은 Creswell의 분석절차를 기반으로 근거하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 창의성에 대한 인식은 ‘다양성이 느껴지는 새로운 아이디어’ ‘살아남기 위한 방법’ ‘카더라 통신의 잘못된 정보로 불안감 조성’으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창의성에 대한 부모의 목소리를 담은 교육 필요로 ‘발달에 맞는 교육’ ‘실생활 연계 교육’ ‘ 진정성이 느껴지는 교육’ ‘실천교육’이였다. 본 연구의 결과는 창의성을 평가도구 및 선행학습으로 모호함을 드러냈으며 1차적인 환경인 가정에서 창의성교육이 이루어지도록 활성화하기 위하여 바람직한 교육의 인식과 방향에 대해 제언하였다.
일본인 한국어 학습자의 유음 습득에 있어서의 음향음성학적 특징에 관한 연구

본고는 일본인 한국어 학습자가 생성하는 유음의 음향음성학적 특징을 한국어 모어화자와 비교하여 살펴보는 것을 통하여 일본인 한국어 학습자의 유음 습득 양상을 고찰하고자 하였다. 한국어에서는 탄설음으로 발음되기도 하고 설측음으로 발음되기도 하지만 일본어에서는 탄설음으로만 실현되는 유음을 대상으로 일본인 한국어 학습자의 습득 양상을 대조언어학적 관점에서 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 학습자 모어의 요소가 목표 언어의 습득을 방해하는 침입적 간섭보다는 학습자의 모어에 없는 요소가 목표 언어의 습득을 방해하는 배제적 간섭이 더 발생하여 탄설음보다는 설측음의 습득이 더 어려운 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한 일본인 학습자의 유음 습득 과정에 나타난 중간언어를 통하여 학습자가 목표언어 체계에 대한 새로운 가설을 수용하기 위하여 수정하고 내재화하는 과정을 거치는것을 확인할 수 있었다. This purpose of this paper was to compare the acoustic and phonetic characteristics of liquids pronounced by Japanese Korean learners with Korean speakers, and to analyze the liquid acquisition of the Japanese Korean learners. From a contrasting linguistic point of view, the liquid in Japanese is realized only as a flap, so intrusive interference in which something in the native language interferes with the learning of the second language or lateral that does not exist in the Japanese language is a preclusive to that which occurs when learning in the second language because of factors not in the native language The possibility of interference could be predicted. As a result, it can be assumed that the Japanese learners of the Korean language encounter more difficulty in acquiring the lateral than Japanese, than acquiring flaps in Japanese. Thus, when teaching the lateral, it is necessary to explicitly teach the environment in which the retrograde position assimilation in Japanese and the lateral pronunciation method are not applied to the Korean species corresponding to the special Mora in Japanese.
