        개에 있어서 Chloramphenicol 의 뇨 및 담즙중 배설기전에 관한 연구

        A study on the mechanism of biliary and urinary excretion of chloramphenicol has been performed in the dog. 1) Chloramphenicol administered intravenously to dogs with ligated renal pedicle, readily appeared in bile greater than in plasma. 6.9% of a 50㎎/㎏ i. v. dose of chloramphenicol were excreted into bile within 100 minutes. During the same periods of above experiment, the bile/plasma concentration ratios(B/P ratios) were 46 to 87. 2) Chloramphenicol injected into the vein of dog was rapidly excreted into urine. 18% of the administered dose were excreted into urine within 70 minutes. In the same periods of this experiment, Ccm/Ccr ratios were greater than 1.0 in most cases. 3) In experiment of simultaneous measurement of biliary and urinary excretion of chloramphenicol, Ccm/Ccr ratios were less than 1.0 and B/P ratios were 50 to 52. 4) In experiment measured simultaneously biliary and urinary excretion both Ccm/Ccr and C^HCm(hepatic clearance) were significantly declined by probenecid, but not affected by 2, 4-DNP and aminophylline although 2, 4-DNP increased only bile flow and aminophylline both bile and urine volume. 5) Ccm/Ccr and C^HCm were increased in proportion to increment of plasma concentration ranging from 3.3 to 30 ㎎% of chloramphenicol. But when plasma concentration were increased to 70㎎%, Ccm/Ccr were not increased and C_HCm were reduced about 30% in comparison with values obtained at 30㎎% of chloramphenicol. 6) Free/Bound(free to bouid from) ratios ranging from 1.0 to 90.0㎎% of chloramphenicol were 76.2+3.72% (mean±S.E.) Above results suggest that chloramphenicol is excreted into bile by a process of active trasport, that excretion of chloramphenicol into urine was made up with dual process, reabsorption and secretion, and that renal secretion was attained by active trasport process although renal reabsorption process could not understand.

        ERIC 검색을 통한 미국의 과학영재교육 프로그램 분석

        과학영재교육이 국가와 사회적 책임이라고 인식하는 이 때, 오래전부터 과학영재에 대한 집중적인 연구가 진행되어 왔고 과학영재교육 프로그램이 운영되고 있는 교육선진국의 과학영재교육 프로그램을 분석할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 ERIC(Education Research Information Center)에 대한 검색을 실시하여 과학영재 관련 문헌을 선정하고 내용별 분류를 실시한 후 과학영재교육 프로그램 문헌을 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 1981년에서 1997년까지의 ERIC 검색 결과, 과학영재 관련문헌은 150개로 나타났고, 그 중 과학영재 교육 프로그램 문헌은 63개로 42.0%를 차지했다. 2. 학술지논문의 출판형식이 과학영재 관련문헌의 42%, 과학영재교육 프로그램의 65.1%로 가장 많았다. 3. 과학영재교육 프로그램의 71.4%가 중,고등학교 과학영재에게 집중되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 4. 과학영재교육 프로그램의 52.4%가 여름프로그램이나 단기 기숙프로그램 등의 정규 이외의 추가적인 심화 교육과정으로 진행되고 있었고, 정규수업으로 실시되는 과학영재교육 프로그램은 38.1%로 나타났다. 5. 대학과 전문기관과의 영계가 잘 이루어져 멘토제도, 인턴제도 등이 잘 활용되고 있으며, 과학 관련 전공과 직업선택을 독려하는 프로그램이 많이 있었다. 6. 학습능력, 관심, 태도 등 여러 특성이 다른 과학영재들을 효과적으로 지도하기 위하여 개별학습이 잘 이루어지고 있었다. In this study, literatures concerning the scientifically gifted/talented were identified through exploration of ERIC(Education Research Information Center) and then categorized. Existing educational programs for the scientifically gifted/talented were analyzed to aid in development and progress of education program of the scientifically gifted/talented. The followings are the results of this study 1. Exploration of ERIC from 1981 to 1997 showed 150 documents related to the scientifically gifted/talented and of those found there were 63 scientifically gifted/talented education program documents which accounts for 42.0%. 2. 42.0% of documents related to the scientifically gifted/talented and 65.1% of education program for the scientifically gifted/talented were in the publication type of journal articles. 3. 60.0% of documents related to the scientifically gifted/talented and 68.3% of education program for the scientifically gifted/talented were in the type of paper of reports. 4. 71.4% of education programs for the gifted/talented was centered around scientifically gifted/talented students in middle or high school. 5. 52.4% of education programs for the scientifically gifted/talented was being carried out as an supplementary enrichment education program such as summer programs or short term projects. Education programs for the scientifically gifted/talented carried out as a regular class accounted for 38.1 %. 6. Systems like Mentorship System and Internship System is being well carried out due to good interrelationships between universities and institutions. There were many programs encouraging majors and careers in science related fields. 7. Individualized education, which is effective in teaching the scientifically gifted/talented whose abilities, interests, and attitudes differ, is being well carried out.

        Ag-첨가 Ge<sub>2</sub>Sb<sub>2</sub>Te<sub>5</sub> 박막의 물성 및 고속 결정화

        We report several experimental data capable of evaluating the amorphous-to-crystalline (a-c) phase transformation in $(Ag)_x(Ge_2Sb_2Te_5)_{1-x}$ (x = 0, 0.05, 0.1) thin films prepared by a thermal evaporation. The isothermal a-c structural phase changes were evaluated by XRD, and the optical transmittance was measured in the wavelength range of $800{\sim}3000$ nm using a UV-vis-IR spectrophotometer. A speed of the a-c transition was evaluated by detecting the reflection response signals using a nano-pulse scanner with 658 nm laser diode (power P = $1{\sim}17$ mW, pulse duration t = $10{\sim}460$ ns). The surface morphology and roughness of the films were imaged by AFM. It was found that the crystallization speed was so enhanced with an increase of Ag content. While the sheet resistance of c-phase $(Ag)_x(Ge_2Sb_2Te_5)_{1-x}$ was similar to that of c-phase $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$ (i.e., $R_c{\sim}10{\Omega}/{\square}$), the sheet resistance of a-phase $(Ag)_x(Ge_2Sb_2Te_5)_{1-x}$ was found to be lager than that of a-phase $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$, $R_a{\sim}5{\times}10^6{\Omega}{/\square}$. For example, the ratios of $R_a/R_c$ for $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$ and $(Ag)_{0.1}(Ge_2Sb_2Te_5)_{0.9}$ were approximately $5{\times}10^5$ and $5{\times}10^6$, respectively.

        PRAM을 위한 (GeTe)<sub>x</sub>(Sb<sub>2</sub>Te<sub>3</sub>) (x=0.5, 1, 2, 8) 박막의 물성 및 상변환 특성 연구

        In this work, we report several experimental data capable of evaluating the phase transformation characteristics of GeSbTe pseudobinary thin films comprehensively utilized as phase change materials. The phase transformation of the GeSbTe thin films was confirmed by XRD measurement from amorphous to hexagonal structure via fee structure except for $Ge_8Sb_2Te_{11}$. In addition, X-ray photoelectron spectra analysis revealed to weaken Ge-Te bond for $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$ and to strengthen the bonds of all elements for $Ge_8Sb_2Te_{11}$ during the amorphous to crystalline transition. The values of optical energy gap $(E_{OP})$ were around 0.71 and 0.50 eV and the slopes of absorption in extended region (B) were ${\sim}5.1{\times}10^5$ and ${\sim}10{\times}10^5cm^{-1}{\cdot}V^{-1}$ for the amorphous and fcc-crystalline structures, respectively. Finally, the kinetics of amorphous-to-crystalline phase change on the GeSbTe films was characterized using a nano-pulse scanner with 658-nm laser diode (power; $1{\sim}17$ mW, pulse duration; $10{\sim}460$ ns).

        Surface penetrating sealant가 치경부 수복물의미세누출에 미치는 영향

        Despite the improvements in bond strengths of dentin adhesives and resin-modified glass ionomers, the marginal seal of cervical restorations remains a concern. Microleakage at poorly sealed margins can result in staining, post-operative sensitivity, pulpal irritation, and recurrent caries. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of surface penetrating sealant(SPS) on the microleakage of cervical restorations. 45 extracted human teeth were selected, and Class V preparations were prepared on the both buccal and lingual surface of the teeth to the following dimensions : 1.5mm axially, 3mm mesiodistally, and 3mm incisogingivally. After cervical restoration with composite resin, compomer, glass ionomer, each restoration was treated as three methods: No Tx., Scotchbond Multipurpose Adhesive, Fortify The sections were examined with a stereomicroscope to determine the extent of microleakage at enamel and dentin margins. The results of this study were as follows. 1.All groups showed some microleakage. 2.Gingival cavity wall with cementum margin showed significantly higher leakage value than occlusal cavity wall with enamel margin. 3.The group treated with SPS showed significantly lower leakage value than no treated group(p<0.05). But there is no difference between Fortify and Scotchbond Multipurpose adhesive. The results of this study suggest that SPS are effective in reducing microleakage of class V restorations. But it is certain that some microleakage still occurred despite the application of SPS.

        Kaltenborn-Evjenth 정형도수치료가 측두하악관절 운동제한 개선에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study is to prove the efficacy of the Kaltenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy and the Conventional Physical Therapy that influence changes in pain and range of motion when those therapies are applied to patients with temporomandibular pint movement restriction. The subjects of the study were 30 randomly selected patients who had been diagnosed with temporomandibular pint movement restriction and had endured pain for more than two weeks. These patients had visited one of three hospitals in Pyongchon 00 Hospital. The subjects were divided into two groups with 15 patients each. The Kaltenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy was applied to one group and the Conventional Physical Therapy was applied to the other group, once a day for three days. Then, the pain perception degree was measured by using the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and a digital device(Absolute Digimatic) measured the range of motion for each group. The average and standard errors were calculated for each measured items and a paired t-test was used for identifying significance in the differences in the pain perception degree and the range of motion between the two groups according to therapy. The significant level was set as ${\alpha}=0.05$. The changes in the pain perception degree were statistically significant in both groups; however, the group that received Kaltenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy(KE-Group) showed more significant changes in a decrease in the pain perception degree than did the group that received the Conventional Physical Therapy(CPT-Group). Both groups showed significant results regarding changes in the range of motion: however, the KE-Group showed more of a significant difference in the average of the range of motion than did the CPT-Group(p<0.001). Comparing the changes in the range of motion between the two groups, the KE-Group showed a significant result which means that the KE-Group had a higher therapy effect than did the CPT-Group(p<0.05). Based on the results of this study, we found that the Kaltenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy decreased pain and increased the range of motion. With such findings, we expect that the Kartenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy can be used as an effective treatment method for patients with tempomrnandibular pint movement restriction and that the treatment period can be reduced with this therapy as well.

        통증학설에 대한 문헌적 고찰

        Pain, which is the most significant issue for the physical therapist, is the cause of various diseases until it disappears, and results in a lot of obstructions to treatment. Pain is very complicated. It is a subjective symptom that informs of a pathologic condition in the body, and one of the unpleasant experiences that people have. It is accompanied with anxiety and fear. Many researchers including Krause(1987) have identified the pain mechanism based on pain perception for many centuries and they have suggested many theories as they believed that pain management was possible. Reviewing the contents of psychoanalysis, uncontrollable pain that can't be explained is described as a defense mechanism to an unconscious psychological conflict. That is, mental pain is transferred to the body and the pain becomes unbearable. What is important is, like Keefe(1992) said, that the pain experience itself is primary stress and one should cope with it, whatever the cause of the pain. This paper investigates the background of the psychological theory of pain. Based on the efforts of previous studies, the next research generation will understand the treatment process for pain more dearly and will contribute to the prevention and protection from pain that humans undergo.

      • 현호색의 이온삼투요법 활용에 관한 연구

        이온삼투요법이란 지속적인 직류의 사용으로 피부를 통해 이온화된 약물을 무통성으로 환부에 도입하여 질병을 치료하는 요법이다. 한의학에서 이온삼투요법에 적용하기 위한 한약물의 제조 방법 및 기준이 아직 구체적으로 설정되어 있지 않다. 이에 저자는 이온삼투요법에 자주 활용되고 있는 현호색 증류 추출물의 정량분석을 실시하였다. HPLC에서 corydaline 표준품의 크로마토그램 peak는 5.95분에서 나타났으나, 현호색 증류 추추물에서는 corydaline 고유의 peak인 5.95분에서 나타나지 않는 것으로 보아 corydaline이 함유되지 않은 것을 알 수 있다. CG/MS에서 cordyaline 표준품의 스펙트럼의 peak는 7.89분에서 나타나고 분자량은 m/z 369가 나타났으나, 현호색 증류 추출물에서는 산성 조건, 중성 조건, 알카리 조건 모두에서 corydaline 표준품 고유 스펙트럼의 peak가 나타나지 않았고 분자량도 m/z 369가 나타나지 않은 것으로 보아 corydaline이 함유되지 않은 것을 알 수 있다. 이상의 결과를 볼 때 현호색 증류 추출물의 모든 샘플에서 corydaline이 검출되지 않은 것은 증류하는 과정에서 corydaline이 가진 ??性 특징 때문에 함유되지 않거나, ???만이 함유되어 있기 때문일 것으로 보인다. 그러므로 이온삼투요법에 응용하는 약물을 추출할 때에는 해당 약물의 화학적 특성을 고려하여 추출방법을 선택해야 목적하는 유효성분을 얻을 수 있다. 그리고 현호색의 경우 corydaline 이외의 다른 성분이 약효에 작용하는지에 대한 여부가 지속적으로 연구되어야 한다. OBJECTIVE Iontophoresis is a kind of medical treatment of penetration of several ion into a body through skin by dirrect current. In oriental mdicine for iontophoresis, it has little standard and method to extract the efficient element from herbal medicine. So we studied the quantitative analyzation of extracted Corydalis Tuber. METHODS AND MATERIALS Materials are Corydahne standard and extracted Corydalis Tuber, and the measurement methods of variation by time and pH are HPLC/UV, CG/MS. RESULTS 1. The chromatography and spectrometer of HPLC/UV on extracted Corydalis Tuber has no corydaline. 2. The CG/MS on extracted Corydalis Tuber has no corydaline. CONCLUSION According to the above results, when we extract herbal mdicine for iontophoresis, we should consider special nature of the object herbal medicine to take the efficient element. And it needs more syudy on possibility of another element effect with the exception of Corydaline.

      • 전기방전에 의한 플라즈마 화학공정 : Ⅰ. 방전 플라즈마의 특성 Ⅰ. Discharge Plasma Characteristics

        이 총설은 전기방전에 의한 플라즈마 화학공정에 대해 알려고 하는 대학원생 혹은 비 전문인들을 위해 한 입문서이다. 이것은 두 부분 -- 전기방전에서의 플라즈마 특성과 플라즈마의 화학공정으로의 응용 --으로 구분하여 기술한다. 첫째부분에서는 일반적인 전기방전의 특성과 그와 관련된 반응기(방전기), 플라즈마 특성, 플라즈마 화학속도론, 전자의 전달계수 및 전자의 속도분포함수들을 논한다. 여기에서는 단지 고압(1 기압이상)에서 작동되는 코로나 혹은 그로우방전에서 생성되는 부분적으로 이온화된 혹은 저온(비평형) 플라즈마에 의한 화학공정만을 취급한다.
