With semiconductor scaling approaching the physical limits, devices including CMOS (complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor) components have managed to overcome yet are currently struggling with several technical issues like short-channel effects. Evolving from the process node of 22 nm with FinFET (fin field effect transistor), state-of-the-art semiconductor technology has reached the 3 nm node with the GAA-FET (gate-all-around FET), which appropriately addresses the main issues of power, performance, and cost. Technical problems remain regarding the foundry of GAA-FET, and next-generation devices called post-GAA transistors have not yet been devised, except for the CFET (complementary FET). We introduce a CFET that spatially stacks p- and n-channel FETs on the same footprint and describe its structure and fabrication. Technical details like stacking of nanosheets, special spacers, hetero-epitaxy, and selective recess are more thoroughly reviewed than in similar articles on CFET fabrication.

Amorphous alloys of Co-rich magnetic amorphous films are well known as typical soft magnetic alloys. They are used for many kinds of electric and electronic parts such as magnetic recording heads, transformers and inductors. CoFeHfO thin films were prepared by RF magnetron reactive sputtering. The films were deposited onto Si(100) substrates with a power of 300W at room temperature. The reactive gas was introduced up to 10% (O₂/(Ar + O₂)) during deposition, and the Co<SUB>39</SUB>Fe<SUB>34</SUB>Hf<SUB>9.5</SUB>O<SUB>17.5</SUB> thin film exhibit excellent soft magnetic properties : saturation magnetization (4πM<SUB>s</SUB>) of 19 kG, magnetic coercivity (H<SUB>c</SUB>) of 0.37 Oe, anisotropy field (H<SUB>k</SUB>) of 48.62 Oe, and an electrical property is also shown to be as high as 300 μΩcm. It is assumed that the good soft magnetic properties of Co<SUB>39</SUB>Fe<SUB>34</SUB>Hf<SUB>9.5</SUB>O<SUB>17.5</SUB> thin film results from high electrical resistivity and large anisotropy field.
The Effect of Municipal Consolidation on Urban Manufacturing Productivity

This paper is focused on analyzing the effect of municipal consolidation on urban manufacturing productivity in Korea. The results indicated that the investments and government expenditures of the consolidated cities have higher impacts on urban labor productivities by generating agglomeration and network economies. Road expansion, on the other hand, generates a negative effect on productivity due to wider market openness from the improvement of spatial accessibility. Urban labor productivity can be maximized when the population size of the consolidated city is between 300,000 and 400,000 people. This size can be applied to setting up a guideline for reorganizing regional administrative units in Korea.
