This study scrutinizes the basic data on various eco-friendly factors through the cases of environment-friendly certified broadcasting station buildings. These data are expected to be helpful for the green building certification of broadcasting station buildings which are to be newly built. Three steps for the analysis were used. Firstly, they were examined the layout plans by the sun shadow and wind direction for an external environment control field, planting with environmentally purified water and land biotope, and ecological forestation by the water space plan. Secondly, they were tested the items for the building form plans with environmental loads, the building envelope plans by solar radiation analysis, louver and fittings plans, environment-friendly atrium plans, rooftop greening plans and bicycle racks and so on. Finally, it was evaluated the items of the plans to use new and renewable energy, water resources, the electrical and lighting systems such as geothermal heat, photovoltaic power generation, solar duct, rain water and wastewater reuse system, etc. The result shows that Korea"s environment-friendly certification system evaluates these broadcasting station buildings the same as office facilities without basic understandings. Therefore the new items and scoring criteria are especially needed for air, thermal and sound environments for the large energy consumption buildings such as broadcasting station buildings.
정상 건강 성인에서 하부 식도 괄약근 압력과 식도 연동운동에 미치는 erythromycin 의 효과에 관한 연구

Motilin is a polypeptide with potent prokinetic properties. And, also it has a contractile activity on human's lower esophageal sphincter (LES), The mechanism of action of motilin on human's LES is proposed to be mediated by cholinergic nervous systems. Recently, it has been shown that erythromycin was a motilin agonist able to induce interdigestive migrating motor complex. The purposes of this study were to evaluate the effects and the mechanism of action of erythromycin on LES and esophageal peristaltic contractility in healthy humans. Infusion of 150 mg erythromycin increased LES pressure significantly (p=0.006) compared with that of control period. Pretreatment with atropine (12 ㎍/Kg, iv) abolished the effect of erythromycin on LES pressure (p = 0.636). Thus a trial of erythromycin may be warranted as a potent prokinetic agent in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease.

N/A Background/Aims: Multiple genetic alterations in tumor suppressor genes(APC, MCC, DCC, p53) and oncogenes(K-ras) have been implicated in the development of colorectal carcinomas(CRCs). Recently, mutator genes(hMSH2, hMLH1, hPMS1, hPMS2), which are characterized by the development of particular form of genetic instability, termed RER(replication error) was reported in CRCs. It is postulated that RER may be required for multiple genetic alterations in the development of CRCs. But the mode of genetic alterations caused by RER is not certain. To evaluate the mode of genetic alterations caused by RER in multistage carcinogeneis, we compared the frequency of p53 expression, known to be involved in the pathogenesis of CRC, in two groups of tumors. RER(+); those demonstrating RER, and RER( ); those lacking such genetic alterations. Methods: RER test at microsatellite loci; DNA was extracted from normal and tumor tissues using cryostat sectioning method. Purified DNA was subjected to a PCR-based technique in which(CA)n repeat sequence were amplified and RERs were detected when a change in allele length was detected. Immunohistochemical analysis of p53 expression; Deparaffinized section of formalin-fixed tumor tissue samples were immunostained for p53 protein, using a monoclonal p53-specific DO7 antibody. Results: The frequency of RER in sporadic CRC was 40.1%(9/22). P53 expression was observed in 6 of 18 carcinoma(33.3%). The frequency of p53 immunostaining was lower in tumors demonstrating RER(25% vs. 40%). All tumor demonstrating RER at multiple loci did not exhibited p53 immunostaining. Conclusions: These results suggest that RER is likely to play an important role in the pathogenesis of CRCs probably by the different mode of genentic alterations from those lacking RER. 핵융합로부품 시험을 위한 고열부하 시험시설 KoHLT-1 구축

A high heat flux test facility using a graphite heating panel was constructed and is presently in operation at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, which is called KoHLT-1. Its major purpose is to carry out a thermal cycle test to verify the integrity of a HIP (hot isostatic pressing) bonded Be mockups which were fabricated for developing HIP joining technology to bond different metals, i.e., Be-to-CuCrZr and CuCrZr-to-SS316L, for the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) first wall. The KoHLT-1 consists of a graphite heating panel, a box-type test chamber with water-cooling jackets, an electrical DC power supply, a water-cooling system, an evacuation system, an He gas system, and some diagnostics, which are equipped in an authorized laboratory with a special ventilation system for the Be treatment. The graphite heater is placed between two mockups, and the gap distance between the heater and the mockup is adjusted to $2{\sim}3\;mm$. We designed and fabricated several graphite heating panels to have various heating areas depending on the tested mockups, and to have the electrical resistances of $0.2{\sim}0.5$ ohms during high temperature operation. The heater is connected to an electrical DC power supply of 100 V/400 A. The heat flux is easily controlled by the pre-programmed control system which consists of a personal computer and a multi function module. The heat fluxes on the two mockups are deduced from the flow rate and the coolant inlet/out temperatures by a calorimetric method. We have carried out the thermal cycle tests of various Be mockups, and the reliability of the KoHLT-1 for long time operation at a high heat flux was verified, and its broad applicability is promising. 본 한국원자력연구원에서는 국제열핵융합실험로(ITER)의 일차벽을 개발하기 위해 그라파이트 히터를 이용한 고열부하 시험시설 KoHLT-1(Korea Heat Load Test facility-1)을 구축하였으며, 현재 정상적으로 가동되고 있다. KoHLT-1의 주목적은 Be-CuCrZr-SS의 이종 금속이 HIP 방법에 의해 접합된 ITER 일차벽 mockup의 접합 건전성을 확인하는데 있다. KoHLT-1은 판형 그라파이트 히터, 냉각 jacket이 부착된 상자형 시험용기, 직류 전원, 냉각계통, He 기체 공급계통과 각종 진단계통으로 구성되어 있으며, 이 모든 시설은 Be 처리가 가능한 특수 정화계통이 설치된 실험실에 설치되었다. 그라파이트 히터는 두개의 시험 대상물 사이에 설치되며, 시험대상물과의 거리는 $2{\sim}3\;mm$이다. 시험 대상물의 크기와 요구되는 열유속에 따라 여러 가지의 그라파이트 히터를 설계, 제작하였으며, 전기 저항은 고온 운전 중에 $0.2{\sim}0.5{\Omega}$이 되도록 하였다. 히터는 100V/400 A의 직류전원에 연결되어 있으며, PC와 multi function module로 구성된 전류 조정계통에 의해 미리 프로그램되어 있는 패턴으로 전류를 자동 조절하게 된다. 두 시험대상물에 인가되는 열유속은 calorimetry법에 의해 냉각수의 입, 출구 온도와 유량을 측정하여 얻게 된다. 여러 가지 형태의 ITER 일차벽 Be mockups에 대해 고열부하 시험을 수행하였으며, 시험을 통하여 KoHLT-1 고열부하 시험 시설의 성능이 확인되었고, 24시간 이상의 연속 운전에 있어서도 그 신뢰성이 입증되었다.

The goal of this research is the establishment of a connection of an existing water quality model to GIS. The water quality model investigated was the Water Quality Analysis Simulation Program (WASP5), while the actual linkage was performed using object-oriented programming. The runoff and the non-point source loadings into the Channel were determined using a grid-based model developed in GIS. Afterwards, scripts were written in the ArcView programming language, Avenue, in order for ArcView to perform the following tasks : 1) write the input file information, 2) format the input information into the proper WASP5 file, 3) execute the WASP5 subprogram for modeling.

Among the various elements affecting a customer's evaluation of automobile quality, buzz, squeak, and rattle (BSR) are considered to be major factors. We propose an analytical method that can be used to reduce BSR in a cockpit module in a vehicle, especially during the early design stage of vehicle development Traditionally BSR in subsystems and components of a vehicle have been identifed and rectifed through extensive hardware testing. With the auto companies and supplier being challenged to cut structural costs, eliminate costly hardware building, and bring products to market fester by reducing development cycles, increasing math analysis of subsystems and components for such perceived quality issues are desirable.
