서울시 주거환경실태와 주택정책방향 연구 -자치구별 인구가구구조와 주거환경 변화분석을 중심으로-

Korea has experienced radical structural changes since national finance crisis of 1997. These structural changes have enormous impacts on the every day life and values of Koreans and have deepen income, social and economic bifurcation, The purpose of this study is to annalize the trends of population, household and housing environment of Seoul in the past 10 years and to suggest implications on housing policy of Seoul. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows: First, main features of population and household trend of Seoul in the past 10 years(1995-2005) are the sharp decrease of young population & large expansion of old age population, the rapid growth of single & two persons households and sharp decrease of large family households, and rapid increase of divorced & unmarried families. These trends are expected to be continued in Seoul for a while, The large sized demolitions of single family housing, a small sized rental housing because of urban redevelopment, and rapid expansion of a large sized apartment housing, a studio type apartment and multi-family housing types are also found as the major trends in housing market of Seoul in the past 10 years. Accordingly, housing mismatch between population and household trends and housing market trends in Seoul seem to be clear. These housing mismatch phenomena are mainly caused by the large scale housing redevelopment relying too much on short-term profit seeking private firms in Seoul. The detailed trend analysis (1995-2005) of population and household by sub-regions in Seoul are also carried out and suggested. Second, about 22% of employed in Seoul or 870 thousands persons are found to be long-distance commuters (the employed persons commuting longer than 1 hour) in 2005. The number of commuting to Seoul from Inchon city and Kyonggi province is approximately 1 million, About 61% of these inter-regional commuting to Seoul in the Capital region are found to be the long-distance commuters. Also, single & two-person families, persons living in rental housing, single family housing and a small sized housing, divorced & unmarried families, under-educated & low income families are seemed to be more sensitive commuting cost and distance. Accordingly, housing policy of Seoul needs to focus more on the demand of these classes of households to address long-distance commuting issues in Seoul. More detailed trend analysis (1995-2005) of inter- & intra- commuting patterns by sub-regions in Seoul are also carried out and suggested. Major implications for the housing policy of Seoul are as follows: First, appropriate supply strategy of public rental housing for underprivileged class needs to be prepared as a precondition of large scale urban redevelopment. In order to address these policy issues, relocated persons by household types, especially persons living a small sized rental housing and houseless people need to be seriously considered in the public housing policy in Seoul. Second, supply of public housing needs to be more sensitive the housing demand. Thus, regular housing demand study on the occupation size and types by sub region is suggested to be institutionalized. Especially, enough public rental housing need to be supplied to the mass transportation nodes around underprivileged housing sites in Seoul. Third, public housing policy of Seoul needs to be more sensitive to the social justice aspect in terms of public resource allocation. Accordingly, Seoul metropolitan government needs to find proper policy measures to redeem excess development gains from urban redevelopment in order to prepare appropriate financial resource for small sized public rental housing supply.
고점도 유체용 Centrifugal 필터시스템의 성능향상을 위한 시험 및 공정기술 연구

석유화학, 가스산업, 정유산업, 화학산업, 화섬사 등과 같은 다양한 공정에서는 고점도의 유체에 포함된 불순물을 정제하기 위하여 여러 가지 방식의 필터시스템이 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 폴리우레탄(Polyurethane)의 원료로 사용되는 고점도 상태의 고분자 물질인 폴리올(Polyol)을 이용하여 원료에 포함된 볼순물 및 일정크기 이상의 폴리올을 제거하기 위하여 고점도 유체에 적합한 Pilot급 Centrifugal 필터시스템 시험 장치를 구축하여 다양한 실험을 통한 공정기술 및 운전조건 도출에 관한 연구를 수행하였다.
전립선 암세포에서 delphinidin에 의한 HIF-1α와 STAT3 억제를 통한 혈관내피 성장 인자 발현 저해 효과

델피니딘은 양전하를 뛰는 diphenylpropane의 polyphenolic ring 구조를 가진 주요한 안토시아닌 색소 중에 하나이다. 최근 연구에서 델피니딘은 항산화, 항염증 뿐만 아니라 항암 효능을 가진다고 보고되었다. 본 연구에서는 전립샘 암에서 종양의 성장과 신생혈관생성에 관련된 중요한 인자인 VEGF 발현에 대한 델피니딘의 억제 효과를 조사하였다. RT-PCR을 통해 델피니딘을 처리한 PC3M 전립샘 암세포 세포에서 EGF로 유도한 VEGF mRNA 발현 수준이 감소됨을 확인하였다. 또한 델피니딘은 VEGF의 전사인자인 HIF-1α와 STAT3가 세포 핵으로 전위되는 것을 효과적으로 억제하였다. 한편 luciferase assay을 통해 HRE-promoter 활성을 확인해 본 결과, 델피니딘이 HIF-1α의 전사 활성을 억제시켜 VEGF 발현을 감소시키는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 델피니딘은 EGFR의 발현에는 영향을 미치지 않고, Akt, p70S6K, 4EBP1의 인산화를 특이적으로 억제하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 델피니딘이 HIF-1α와 STAT3, VEGF 발현을 억제를 통하여 암세포 증식억제와 신생혈관형성을 억제하는 역할을 새롭게 확인하였다. Delphinidin is a blue-red pigment and one of the major anthocyanins in plants. It plays an important role in anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-mutagenic and anti-cancer properties. In this study, we investigated the inhibitory effects of delphinidin on vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) gene expression, an important factor involved in angiogenesis and tumor progression in human prostate cancer. Delphinidin decreased levels of epidermal growth factor (EGF)-induced VEGF mRNA expression in PC-3M cells. The expression of the EGF-induced hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) and signaling transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) proteins, which are the major transcription factors for VEGF, were inhibited by delphinidin. In addition, delphinidin decreases HRE-promoter reporter gene activity, suggesting that delphinidin can suppress the transcription of HIF-1α under EGF induction, leading to a decrease in the expression of VEGF. Delphinidin specifically suppressed the phosphorylation of Akt, p70S6K, and 4EBP1, but not the phosphorylation of EGFR. Therefore, our results suggest that delphinidin may inhibit human prostate cancer progression and angiogenesis by inhibiting HIF-1α, STAT3 and VEGF gene expression.
