The humidity-control function and manufacturing characteristics of wood-wool boards using waste-paper-mulberry fiber were analyzed in this study. For the manufacture of wood-wool boards, the pulverizing times of waste-paper-mulberry fibers were controlled at 30, 60, 120, and 180 s, and the mixing amounts were controlled by adding 0%, 3%, 6%, and 9%, respectively, as compared to cement. Analysis of the moisture adsorption and desorption characteristics of the wood-wool boards controlled for pulverizing time revealed that the wood-wool board with 60 s of pulverized fiber exhibited the best adsorption and desorption performances. It was estimated that the adsorption and desorption performances of the material itself were adequate even when the boards were mixed because of minimal damage to the fiber. In addition, an analysis of the absorption and desorption characteristics of the fiber-mixture-controlled wood-wool boards showed that the 6%-mixed wood-wool board had the best absorption and desorption performances of 291.00 g/m<sup>2</sup> and 108.75 g/m<sup>2</sup>, respectively.

Sediment transport around artificial habitat which is induced by the change of flow due to installation of the structure plays a role not only as a delict function of subsidence and burial but also bottom-environment control function. we surveyed that stability of the dice artificial reefs installed on Pohang coast of the East Sea (Sea of Japan). Using Side Scan Sonar (SSS) and scuba diving equipment, a facility condition of dice reefs. Total 139 place, 10,526 dice artificial reefs was discovered. As the level which affects function of the above 0.5m, the case 4 place of burial (0.5~1.2m, 2.9%), Scour appeared with 3 place (0.5m, 2.2%) and Broken was appeared with 183 artificial reefs (1.74%). Investigation result that dice reef on Pohang coast was most stable.

The common bile duct diaphragm is the extremly rare cause of the obstructive jaundice. We experienced a case of common bile duct diaphragm in a 47 years old male who complained intermittent right upper quadrant abdominal pain and itching since 7 months prior to admission. Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography and retrograde cholangiopancreaticography revealed the typical common bile duct diaphragm and the diagnosis was confirmed by operation. We reported a typical case of the common bile duct diaphragm and it is the first case of common bile duct diaphragm in Korea.

A case of autoimmune chronic active hepatitis was diagnosed in a 28 years old female. She came to the hospital because of proximal muscle weakness, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, cold intolerance, psychomotor retardation, jaundice and hepatomegaly. Liver biopsy showed chronic active hepatitis without evidence of viral infection nor injury by hepatotoxin. Other laboratory work-up showed polymyositis, renal tubular acidosis, and autoimrnune thyroidtis with antinuclear antibody, RA factor, and antimicrosomal antibody. we report this case as a autoimmune chronic active hepatitis accompanied by autoimmune thyroiditis, renal tubular acidosis and polymyositis, with a literature review.

A Case of primary biliary cirrhosis was diagnosed in 48 years old female. She complained intractible generalized pruritus for 13 years, and presented hepatosplenomegaly, miId hyperbilirubinemia, marked increase in serum alkaline phosphatase and serum IgM, positive antimitochondrial antibody test, and compatible histologic findings of fibrosis, inflammatory cell infiltration, destruction of bile ducts, and incomplete fibrous septal formation on liver biopsy. we reported a typical case of primary biliary cirrhosis and it is the first reported case of primary biliary cirrhosis in Korea.

Objectives: The most cammon cause of vascular access loss is thrombosis, usually caused by venous stasis associated with venous stenotic lesions. Therefore early detection of venous stenosis is very important. We studied the correlation of venous dialysis pressure and urea recirculation ratio to venous stenosis in chronic hemodialysis patients. Methods: Venous dialysis pressure and urea recirculation ratio were measured at extracoporeal blood flow of 200 ml/min thruugh 16 gauge needles within initial 30 minutes in 80 chronic hemodialysis patients. Venography was performed in patients with elevated venous dialysis pressure (>100 mmHg) or urea recirculation ratio (>15%), and if significant stenosis was found, venous dialysis pressure and urea recirculation ratio were reevaluated after percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA). Results: Of the total 80 patients, 30 patients had elevated venous dialysis pressure or urea recirculation ratio. In patients with elevated urea recirculation ratio, venous dialysis pressure was high (102±21 mmHg vs 71±20 mmHg, P<0.001) and the past history of subclavian catheterization ipsilateral to fistula site was also high (39.1% vs 15.8%, P=0.02). There were no differences between two groups in terms of age, sex, diabetes mellitus, duration of hemodialysis, fistula site, and interneedle length. Of the total 27 patients undergone venography, 14 patients (51.9%) had venous stenosis. PTA was performed in 11 significant stenotic lesions in 5 patients and initial success rate of 91% was obtained, After PTA, urea recirculation ratios significantly decreased (16.7±5.9% vs 5.0±3.6%, P=0.01) and venous dialysis pressures slightly decreased without statistical significance (117.4±23.0 vs 99.0±8.9 mmHg, P=0.058). Conclusion: Venous dialysis and urea recirculation ratio seem to be active indicator of venous stenosis and outcome of subsequent percutaneous transluminal angioplasty in hamodialysis patients.
탄소보강근의 제조 조건에 따른 휨강도와 기공 특성과의 상관성 분석

본 연구에서는 CFRP rebar의 휨강도와 기공 특성과의 상관성을 도출하기 위해 CFRP rebar의 제조 조건을 제어하였다. 이때 CFRP rebar의 제조 조건은 리브 유무, 수지 온도 및 경화로 온도 등을 조정하였으며, 제조된 CFRP rebar의 휨강도와 기공특성을 분석하였다. CFRP rebar의 휨강도는 리브 유무, 경화로 온도 및 수지 온도 등, 제조 조건에 따라 변화되었다. 특히 리브가 감겨지지 않은 경우, CFRP rebar의 휨강도 값이 크게 낮아진다는 것도 확인하였다. Nano X-Ray CT 분석 결과, 수지 온도가 60℃인 CFRP rebar에서 최대 기공 지름을 나타내었다. 광학현미경 분석 결과, 최대 기공율은 No. 1에서 6.89%, 최소 기공율은 No. 7의 2.88%이었다. 광학현미경을 통한 기공율과 휨강도의 상관관계계수는 -0.64이었으며, 이는 Nano X-Ray CT 기공율 및 기공크기와의 상관관계계수 보다 높은 값이었다. In this study, the fabrication conditions of CFRP rebar were controlled to derive the correlation between flexural strength and pore characteristics. The fabrication conditions of CFRP rebar were adjusted for presence or absence of rib, resin temperature, and curing furnace temperature. Flexural strength and pore characteristics of fabricated CFRP rebar were analyzed. The flexural strength of CFRP rebar was changed depending on the fabrication condition, such as the presence or absence of rib, the resin temperature, and the curing furnace temperature. It was confirmed that the flexural strength of CFRP rebar was significantly lowered when the rib was not wound. As a result of Nano X-ray CT analysis, the max. pore diameter was shown in CFRP rebar prepared at a resin temperature of 60℃. According to optical microscopic analysis, the maximum porosity was 6.89% in No. 1, and the minimum porosity was 2.88% in No. 7. The correlation coefficient between porosity used optical microscopy and flexural strength was -0.64, which was higher than the correlation coefficient between porosity or pore size used Nano X-ray CT and flexural strength.
