This experiment was carried out to study the practical utility of Mucor rennet by making Cheddar cheese with this enzyme and characterize the physio-chemical properties of it during the ripening. Better yield and higher solid content of Cheddar cheese was established by calf rennet than Mucor rennet and solid content of Cheddar cheese was increased during the ripening. pH of Cheddar cheese was increased during the ripening and it was higher in the Mucor rennet treated Cheddar cheese than that of calf rennet. Water soluble nitrogenous compounds, soluble nitrogenous compounds in 12% TCA and pH 4.6 of Cheddar cheese made with Mucor rennet was increased during the ripening. Higher levels of these compounds in the Cheddar cheese made with Mucor rennet than those of calf rennet was revealed.

This experiment has been carried out to study the changes of caseins and peptides in the Cheddar cheese during the ripening. Cheese caseins were fractionated with Sephadex G-150 column and DEAF-cellulose column chromatography. Each fraction was evaporated and analyzed with polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and compared each other with the rate of degradation. On Sephadex G-150 column chromatography, caseins obtained from the Cheddar cheese ripened about 10 days (initial of ripening) and 6 months were fractionated into 3 fractions and 4 fractions respectively. On DEAE-cellulose column chromatography, caseins of Cheddar cheese ripened about 10 days and 6 months were fractionated into 5 fractions and 7 fractions respectively. On the acrylamide gel electrophoresis of caseins of Cheddar cheese ripened about 10 days and 6 months, β-casein was highly resistant to the proteolysis but degradation of as-casein was widely expanded during the ripening.
An Optimum Light Environment Design of Double-Stack Bed System by using Genetic Algorithms

본 연구에서는 자연광 이용 온실의 재배면적을 최대화 하기 위하여 작물생강 모델링, 태양의 위치 및 일사량을 이용하여 2단재배 시스템을 위한 한계일사량 산정 모델, 2단재배 광환경 분성 모델을 개발하였다. 그리고 광환경의 변화에 따른 작물 생장 지체시간을 이용하여 작물의 생산량이 최대가 될 수 있는 한계 일사량의 값을 산정하여 2단 재배 시스템을 최적 설계 하였다. 2단재배 시스템의 최적설계를 위한 분석결과 총 생산량이 약 3.669 kg (d.m.)${\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}yerar^{-1}$이며, 기존 재배방식보다 130.2 %의 생산 증대 효과를 잦는 것으로 계산 되었다. 이와 같은 다단재배 시스템은 온실 내부의 공간을 효율적으로 이용하여 제배면적 대비 에너지 투입 비용을 절감 할 것으로 기대 된다.

Incheon international airport has tried to upgrade its image by hosting lots of international events and inviting celebrities as a honorary ambassador of airport. It is uncomparable to other airports all over the globe for incheon airport to utilize an honorary ambassador to promote airport. The purpose of this paper is to try to find out the PR effect of employing honorary embassador at Incheon airport, which has a positive impact on enhancing the image of Incheon airport. In other words, it should be considered the PR effect of honorary embassador has contributed to upgrading airport image resulting in the commitment of passengers. According to empirical research result, it is proven the attractiveness and trust of honorary embassador has not significantly positive impact on the airport's image. However it is also proven the PR activities of airport authority has a significant impact on the airport's image. Passengers believed the honorary ambassador has a high level of attractiveness and trust but they don't agree causal relationship among attractiveness, trust and airport image. That is, they are not interested in who is the honorary ambassador of airport but in the contents of airport's news article itself. The administrative implication is mentioned in the paper that airport authority should mainly focus on the contents of PR not the figure of the honorary ambassador.

In this study, an aluminum anti-loosening nut was developed for fastening a drone motor, and its performance was experimentally validated. The Box–Behnken method combined with nut-tightening analyses was applied to determine the optimum values of nut parameters including the base angle, slot height, and depth. An experiment was conducted to validate the anti-loosening performance of two types of nut prototypes under the vibration excitation of a hexacopter. It was noted that, compared to a normal nut, the single-slot nut prototypes improved the performance by a maximum of 11%. It was also observed that the anti-loosening performance estimated at the design stage agreed well with experimentally measured results.

In this study, the effect of a single-slot nut’s shape on the anti-loosening performance was investigated. The tightening characteristics of the single-slot nut were analytically estimated. Nonlinear finite element analyses were subsequently conducted for determining the tightening torque corresponding to various values of the slot depth, upper height, and bottom slope. Furthermore, the obtained numerical results were validated by employing a test-rig with a torque wrench and a washer-type load cell. It is found that compared to a normal nut, the tightening torque of the single-slot nut increases by a maximum of 20% at a given clamping force. Additionally, it is observed that the bottom slope is the dominant factor affecting tightening; increasing the bottom slope causes improvement in the tightening torque and the anti-loosening performance.
