에너지가 높은 이 원자는 주위원자들과 충돌하여 에너지를 잃으며 결과적으로 열에너지로 멈추게 된다. Recoil원자는 에너지를 잃는 도중 또는 뒤에 화학반응에 관여하며 결과적으로 몇 개의 화학적으로 분리 가능한 화학종<Species>중에 분배된 방사능을 얻는다. 예를 들면 중성자조사<조사>한 n-Propyl Bromide<액체 또는 고체> 중의 방사성 Bromine의 분포를 보면 n 그리고 iso-Propyl Bromide, Ethyl 그리고 Methyl Bromide로서, 도한 Methylene Bromide 형태로 Bromine Activity를 발견할 수 있다. 이들 원자핵 전환의 화학적효과를 발견자의 이름을 따서 Szilard-Chalmers 반응이라고 한다.

The Scientific Community, written by Warren O. Hagstrom in 1965, is one of the pioneering and classical books in the sociology of science. It is based upon his own focused interview data with the sample of 76 university scientists, besides 3 other professionals and 11 graduate students and 2 technicians, in disciplinary areas of the basic. And it also is using such raw data and secondary analyses as Bernard Berelsons’s survey of 2,331American scientists, Robert Wenkert and Roderic Fredrickson’s survey of 890 scientists at the University of California, Berkeley, and William Kornhauser’s interview material with scientists in industry. In this work Hagstrom advanced a systematic sociological theory of science, from a Durkheimian tradition, emphasizing such that the order of a society is generated and maintained through moral sentiments came out of mutual interactions among its individual members rooted in “sacred things,” whether they are objects, symbols, or values.

영성과 신비주의: 모두를 위한 열린 세계의 창조의식

Mass unemployment and job insecurity, family breakdown and ill health, environmental and ecological crisis, and abnormal weather condition and rising sea level are all the most urgent and serious social contradictions coming into global disasters and calamities. But it is imposible to resolve such problems without a change radical enough in thinking and consciousness, value and norm, attitude and behavior, way of living and social system, and the like. For that reason. this paper takes notice of life and creation spirituality as the essence of human being, and of mystic union with the divine Being, through which cosmic consciousness comes out. From the creation identity of spirituality and mysticism, it tries to figure out a foothold for jumping up to “freedom of all for all” from “war of all against all,” as well as a solution to those social contradiction, including such dilemmas as free-rider and oligarchy inherent in the social movement for building a new society more democratic. 대량실업과 고용불안, 가정파괴와 건강악화, 환경오명과 생태위기는 세계의 거의 모든 나라가 당면한 문제다. 이는 가장 긴급하고 심각한 사회모순으로서 지구차원의 재난과 재앙으로 다가오고 있다. 이것은 사고와 의식, 가치와 규범, 태도와 행동 및 생활방식에서 근본적인 대전환이 이루어져야만 풀어낼 수 있는 문제이다. 그래서 인간존재의 근원으로서 생명과 창조의 영성에 주목한 본고는, ‘만인의 만인에 대한 투쟁’에서 ‘만인의 만인에 대한 자유’로 도약할 모순해소의 가능성을, 누구에게나 내장되어 있는 각자의 무한자 속으로 깊이 침잠해 들어가 모든 존재자와 하나가 되는 신성체현의 신비주의 우주의식에서 찾으려는 시도를 하였다. 동서양을 막론하고 신비주의 영성체험의 핵심은 신인합일(神人合一)이다. 모든 형태의 불균등한 권력구조를 근저로부터 해체해버리고, 내면의 무한자와 하나가 되는 신비주의 창조영성의 우주의식 차원에서는 ‘나’와 ‘너’의 구분도 없다. 모두가 절대평등의 아트만이고 부처이며, 하늘이고 하느님이다. 따라서 상대방을 무력하게 만들어 멋대로 지배하려는 권력욕과 소유욕으로부터 완전히 자유로워진 영성의 생명의식과 우주의식으로 돌아갈 때에야 비로소, 지금까지 모든 사회운동의 질곡으로 작용해온 무임승차자와 과두제화의 딜레마로부터 벗어나 새로운 사회형성과 역사창조의 가능성이 열릴 것이다.

어머니의 노래 : 민주화운동에서의 젠더문제

『어머니의 노래』는 MBC가 1989년 2월 3일 밤 9시 50분에서 10시 58분까지 68분 동안 방영하였던 휴먼 다큐멘터리로서 광주사태를 다룬 최초의 TV 프로그램이다. 계엄군의 총탄에 19살의 아들을 잃은 한 어머니의 슬픔을 통해, 광주에서 민주화운동을 무자비하게 탄압한 과정을 추적한 것이다. 여기서 사용된 화면자료는 MBC, 광주교구 정의평화위원회, 미국 CBC, 캐나다 VIS-NEWS, 독일 NDR, 그리고 일본 NHK의 소장 사진과 직접 저항운동에 참가했거나 목격한 증인들과의 인터뷰 내용으로 구성되어 있다. 광주청문회조차 위증으로 일관되었기 때문에, 광주학살은 9년 동안 군사정권에 의하여 은폐되고 왜곡되어 왔었다. 이러한 상황에서 『어머니의 노래』는 모성애라는 전통적인 문화가치를 효과적으로 사용함으로써 광주항쟁의 실상을 알리는데 크게 공헌하였다. 그 증거가 바로 시청률이다. 처음 방송의 시청률은 44%였다. 정부의 관제데모와 압력에도 불구하고, 시청자들의 요구에 의한 재방송은 86%의 시청률을 기록했다는 점에서 한국방송사상의 기념비적 사건이 된 작품이다. 『어머니의 노래』가 민주화운동의 발전과 확산에 기여한 것은 사실이다. 그러나 그와는 반대로 젠더문제를 고려하지 않았기 때문에, 전통적인 여성의 역할과 모성애의 신화를 강화시키는 결과를 낳았다. 그러므로 『어머니의 노래』의 사회배경, 내용, 그리고 시청자반응의 분석을 통하여 본논문이 도달한 결론은, 한국에서 가장 강력한 지배 이데올로기는 모성애이며, 사회변화를 추구하는 민주화운동조차 여성문제를 도외시하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 가부장제 이데올로기를 재생산하고 있다는 것이다.

미국 대중문화의 표상체계로서의 오리엔탈리즘

From a perspective which focuses on the interactions among class, power, race, gender, and geopolitics as explicable five factors, this article analyzed some of Hollywod films with the purpose of tracing a variety of forms and contents of orientalism as the mechanism of ‘othering’ that structurizes a set of representations in American popular culture, which sweps over the world market of cultural products, thus assimil ating the whole planet to western culture at breakneck speed. The method to be used is a textual and contextual analysis. The study result sho ws that a set of representations of American popular culture is shaped and reshaped by orientalism, which originated from dominant discourses on th e discovery of America. This traditionalist form of orientalism imposes upon the indians meanings and images carying barbarity and savagene ss, and hence justifies the white ruling over them.The sets of representations in two films, Litle Big Man and Dance with Wolves, however, are changed into a type of revisionist orientalism in which the indian societies apear more superior than the whi te world. The way The Birth of a Nation portrayed the blacks is ultra-rightist. The Color Purple takes a structure of binary oppositions in which the innovative images of the black woman are contrast to the extremely conventional ones of the black man. The War Between Us produced by CBC is so subversive that orientalism can be deconstructed. Yet at the same time it reveals the impact of American orientalism as a concrete exercise of power. These forms of orientalism, which reflect new balances changing among class, power, race, gender, and geopolitics, is operating as one of the deep representational structures in the popular culture produced by the global media system. 전세계 문화시장의 석권으로 지구적 차원의 서구문화로의 동화현상을 초래하고 있는 미국 대중문화의 의미체계에 나타난 비서구에 대한 타자화의 메카니즘으로서 오리엔탈리즘의 양태변화를 추적하려는 목적에서, 본논문은 헐리우드 영화중심의 텍스트를 분석하였다. 계급, 권력, 인종, 젠더, 그리고 세계정세의 다섯가지 요인들간의 상호작용에 주목하여 수행한 텍스트분석의 결과, 미국 대중문화의 표상체계는 아메리카 발견담론의 오리엔탈리즘에 의하여 구조화, 재구조화되고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 인디언에게 문명과 이성이 결여되어 있는 야만의 이미지를 부과하여 정복과 제거의 대상으로 타자화하는 아메리카 발견담론의 오리엔탈리즘이, 작은 거인 과 늑대와 춤을에서는 전통주의나 관습주의로부터 크게 이탈하여 백인보다는 인디언이, 미국사회보다. 국가의 탄생 의 흑인에 대한 표상체계는 극단적 관습주의의 표상형식으로 구조화되었고, 컬러 퍼플 은 흑인여성의 혁신주의 이미지와 흑인남성의 극단적 전통주의 이미지가 병존하는 대립구도를 취하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이들 헐리우드 영화와는 다소 대조적으로, 캐나다방송사(CBC) 제작의 내국인들간의 전쟁 은 오리엔탈리즘을 해체할 정도로 전복성과 혁신성이 돋보인 영화이었다. 그러나 동시에 이미지의 조작이 아니라 권력의 구체적인 행사로서 미국 오리엔탈리즘의 영향으로부터 자유278 미국 대중문화의 표상체계로서 오리엔탈리즘롭지 못한 한계도 노출하고 있었다. 타자화 메카니즘으로서 아메리카 발견담론의 오리엔탈리즘은, 계급, 권력, 인종, 젠더, 그리고 세계정세의 다섯가지 요인들간의 달라진 세력균형과 상황변화를 반영하는 다양한 양태로 형식과 내용을 바꾸면서 미국 대중문화의 표상체계로 작용하고 있는 것이다. 그러므로 서구중심의 세계질서와 권력관계, 백인우월주의의 문화가치와 생활방식을 보편화하는 동시에 재생산하는 미국 대중문화의 표상체계는, 다름 아닌 아메리카 발견담론의 오리엔탈리즘이라고 요약할 수 있겠다.
