        The Effect of Target Eccentricity and Stimulus-response Compatibility on the Response Latencies of Ocular Movements in Defensive Movement

        서로 다른 시야에서 제시되는 시각적 자극에 대한 목표지향적인 반응과 관련해서 방어동작은 자극으로부터 막기 (Toward)와 피하기 동작(Away)을 포함한다. 이러한 방어동작들은 반응의 결과 또는 자극과 반응의 적합도에 따라서 구분되어 질 수 있다. 비록 투기종목 (복싱, 태권도, 유도 등)에서 공격에 대한 선행연구들은 많이 이루어지고 있지만 방어적인 운동은 그 중요성에 비해서 연구가 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 방어반응을 이해하기 위한 노력으로 서로 다른 시야에서 제시되는 시각적 자극에 대해 막기와 피하기 반응 조건에서 신속한 안구운동의 반응을 연구하였다. 안구운동의 측정은 수용할 수 있는 신뢰도 점수를 보여주었으며, 단속성 안구운동 반응시간은 자극의 편심성이 커질수록 자극과 반응이 적합하지 않는 조건에서 길어졌다. 본 연구에서 이용된 안구운동측정방법은 신뢰할 수준의 정확성을 보여주었으며 연구의 결과들은 방어운동에서 안구운동은 자극의 위치와 자극반응 적합성에 영향을 받을 수 있음을 시사한다.

        한국형 코치-운동선수 관계유지 척도의 타당화

        The purpose of this study was to gain initial evidence for the reliability and validity of the use of maintenance strategies within the coach-athlete relationship (Coach-Athlete Relationship Maintenance Questionnaire: CARM-Q) developed by Rhind & Jowett (2012) in Korea. The questionnaire includes a 28 item measure with seven sub-scales measuring: conflict management, openness, motivational, preventative, assurance, support, and social network strategies. Factorial invariance (configurational, metric, uniqueness, and factor variance invariance) test indicated that the sports interdependence scale was valid in gender, sports types, school years. The results of the latent means analyses indicated that male athletes were significantly higher than female athletes across seven sub-factors of CARM-Q scale. In addition, the mean scores of individual sport athletes were significantly higher than team sport athletes across the social networks and support. Overall, CARM-Q developed by Rhind & Jowett (2012) was valid in collegiate in Korea and reflect coach-athlete relationship maintenance strategies.

        자극행로의 변화가 예측타이밍의 시공간적 정확성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of utilizing visual information about changes in stimulus trajectory by analyzing the effect of unexpected changes in the trajectory of visual stimulus on the spatiotemporal accuracy of coincident timing response. Thirteen subjects performed timing task requiring wrist movement in coincident with the arrival of stimulus light at the target location. During the task, the point of change in the trajectory of stimulus moving at three velocities was manipulated by light emitting diode array. For each trial, the accuracy of timing was measured, from which constant error(CE), absolute error(AE), variable error(VE), and error rate were calculated. Analyses of the results revealed that the timing accuracy differed by stimulus velocity and the point of changes in the stimulus trajectory. CE and AE increased as stimulus velocity became faster and the point of change in the stimulus trajectory was delayed. Also, CE and AE for the point of change-2.5cm condition increased as stimulus velocity became slower. Error rate in the point of change-2.5cm and no-change conditions was larger than those in other conditions. These results suggest that the effect of changes in stimulus trajectory on the spatiotemporal accuracy of coincident timing differs by stimulus velocity, the point of change in the stimulus trajectory and time remained from the point of change to the initiation of response.

        운동학습,제어,발달 : 자극-반응 적합성이 신속한 머리회전의 반응시간에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine whether yaw head rotational reaction time and premotor time to visual stimuli in central and peripheral visual fields would improve with practice. Method: The task was to make a complete horizontal head rotation regardless of target eccentricity in two response conditions: TOWARD and AWAY conditions. In the TOWARD condition subjects rotated their head in the direction ipsilateral to target appearance for a congruent S-R response. In the AWAY condition subjects rotated their head contralateral to target appearance for an incongruent S-R response. All subjects participated in the following sequence of testing and training: (1) Pre-test, (2) Training (6 days over 2 weeks), and (3) Post-test. Measures associated with yaw head rotations involved with reaction time, premotor time and electromechanical delay. Results: Results revealed shorter yaw head rotation RT in TOWARD and AWAY conditions after 6 days of practice in TOWARD and AWAY conditions. We found the greater observations especially for the centrally placed target. Conclusion: These results suggest greater performance improvements were observed for most subjects when practice and testing were within the same condition, indicating support for the well-known learning specificity phenomena.

        아동기 인지-운동발달 평가도구로써 단속성 안구운동의 적용가능성

        The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical and empirical evidence regarding possibility of adapting saccadic eye movement as tool to evaluate cognitive and motor development in children. Saccadic eye movement tasks can be designed to probe simple sensory-motor process as well as higher cognitive functions using different types of paradigm. Several studies deal with saccadic performance in children. The main findings of the investigation were that saccadic eye movement performance represents a sensitive indicator of maturation of the brain activity and motor development. However, to our knowledge, there are few studies to utilize saccadic eye movement to assess the cognitive and physical development in children. In this review paper, 1) the importance of saccadic eye movement in children, 2) age-related different parameter in saccade, 3) development of brain function related to saccade and finally, the future directions have been discussed.

        전체적-주의초점이 한국무용 ‘자반뛰기’ 동작에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to verify that the effects of the holistic-focus of attention on the movement of the “Jaban-ttwigi”, a body control task, for Korean dance. This study was conducted on 30 Korean dance experts (21.17 years old) who were over 9.7(± 1.22) years, and were randomly assigned to internal focus, external focus, and holistic-focus of attention. Experiments were performed by performing pre-test and treatment experiments by using the ‘Jaban-ttwigi’, and collected video data. Interactions between groups by time point appeared, and there was no difference according to the attentional focus condition in the pre-test, but in the treatment experiment, the holistic-focus of attention condition showed the highest evaluation score of motion compared to the internal focus condition. However, there was no significant difference from the external focus condition, and the external focus condition showed low volatility in performance at the pre-treatment-post stage. The results of this study confirm that the suggestion of internal focus is not effective for the experts, and the external focus is considered to be the most similar to the existing performance strategy. It is noteworthy that the holistic-focus of attention can be a more effective attention guideline than the external attention focus in body control tasks such as dancing, and these results need to be verified under longer-term practice conditions.

        속도선택 포화흡수분광을 이용한 분산형 신호의 관측 및 반도체 레이저의 주파수안정화

        세슘 $D_1$전이선에 해당하는 파장 894 nm의 레이저시스템을 제작하여 포화흡수광 실험을 하였다. 포화흡수증기셀 내에서 조사광을 펌프광에 대해 일정한 각도로 교차시켜서 속도선택적인 포화흡수분광신호를 관찰하였다. 이신호는 펌프광과 조사광의 교차하는 각도와 위치에 따라 변했다. 이때 두 개의 조사광에 의해 만들어진 속도선택 포화흡수분광신호들의 차이를 측정함으로써 분산모양의 주파수 분별신호를 만들 수 있었다. 이를 이용하여 주파수 변조없이 반도체 레이저의 주파수를 안정화할수 있었다. 그 결과 주파수 안정도$\sigma_y(\tau=1s)=7$\times10^{-12}$, $\sigma_f(\tau=1s)=2.4kHz$ 이었다. We observed a velocity-selective saturated absorption spectrum when the pump beam intersects the probe beam at a finite angle with a saturated absorption spectroscopic configuration in the cesium vapor cell. And we also observed a dispersion-like signal by measuring the difference between two velocity-selective absorption spectra produced by two parallel probe beams intersected by one pump beam. The dispersion-like signal was changed with the crossing angle and the crossing position of the pump and probe beams and compared with the calculated result. The dispersion-like signal was used as a frequency discriminator, and the laser could be frequency-stabilized without any frequency modulation. As a result, the square root of Allan variance was $\sigma_y(\tau=1s)=7$\times10^{-12}$, for the sampling time of 1 s.of 1 s.

        시청각적 모델링이 캐스케이드 저글링의 학습에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the applicability of visuo-auditory modeling as a cognitive training for enhancing skill learning by analyzing the effect of visuo-auditory modeling in learning cascade juggling. Fifty male college students with no prior task experience participated in the study. The participants were randomly assigned into one of five groups: visual modeling + physical practice (PP), auditory modeling + PP, visuo-auditory modeling + PP, physical practice, and a control group. All of the participants were asked to conduct the different training programs by group starting on the next day of the pre-test. They performed their training program 20 minutes per day, three times per week, for five weeks. The post-test was conducted the day after the end of the training program. A retention test was implemented one week after the post-test. All measurement procedures and variables were the same across the pre-test, post-test, and retention test. The score of a successful juggling cycle, spatial variables such as movement pattern of upper limbs and ball trajectory, and temporal variables such as hand cycle time and dwell ratio were analyzed as dependent variables . The combined training of visuo-auditory modeling with physical practice was the most effective for improving juggling performance and its spatio-temporal variables. In addition, the combination training of visual modeling and PP was effective for enhancing spatial aspects such as the movement pattern of upper limbs and ball trajectory, whereas the combination training of auditory modeling and PP was effective for facilitating temporal aspect like dwell ratio. We suggest that visuo-auditory modeling can act as an effective cognitive training for facilitating the learning of a skill that requires accurate movements and spatio-temporal timing.

        자기-관찰학습이 피루에트 앙 디올 턴 학습에 미치는 영향

        This study is a form of observation learning is intended to examine the applicability of the observation learning program for the promotion of dance skills learning in real lesson in the dance scene by analyzing the impact of Pirouette en dehors turn learning. This study is no dance experience with a total of 36 groups o f between 17 and 24 years old, men and women and target the expert-modeling group, self-modeling group , self-observation groups, were divided into a control group with nine apiece randomly assigned. After subjects are to conduct a preliminary examination of each about after a pirouette en dehors turn each group participated in training for seven days of practice for 20 minutes every day, depending on how. After the end of practice to identify changes in the entire performance during the time trial performance by filming a scene. Immediately posttest examination was performed one day after the end of experiment. The analysis of operations carried out in the retention test score of self-observation group performs scores were better than the other groups, self-modeling group, expert-modeling group and the control group was found to improve skills in order to perform this operation.
