For developing the ignition device for the interceptor of Korean active protection system, the design parameters of the ignition device which should have a short ignition delay time and sufficient energy for propellant ignition were studied. The electric primer instead of mechanical primer was adopted for deceasing delay time, and ignition code was used for decreasing the time difference of flame propagation from the flame holes. The developed ignition device showed the ignition delay time of a few ms. When the designed ignition device was applied to the open-type propulsion devices, the stable interior ballistic characteristic was showed in a firing test.
예광제 조성이 연소 불꽃의 스펙트럼 및 광도에 미치는 영향

Computer simulation was carried out to develop the tracer composition of a high performance to be able to be observed by not only the naked eye but also the thermal imaging system attached to the weapon system. The results of computer simulation show that the optimum Mg content among the trace compositions is about 40% and the formulation consisted of Viton A has a higher flame temperature compared with that of chloride compound. But the only use of Viton A radiates a yellow light and the composition adding a chloride compound radiates the red light. The light intensity of the tracer composition involving Viton A is higher than that of chloride compound. The tracer composition involving Viton A shows more clear images in case of all tests.

The burning rates of combustible cartridge cases(CCCs) of 120mm kinetic energy ammunition were measured by CBT(Closed Bomb Tester). The burning coefficient was 1.4 for CCC fabricated by Post Impregnation(PI) process, and 1.0 for that by Beater Additive(BA) process. The BA process CCC showed the fixed burning coefficient of 1.0 in spite of changing the composition of CCC. As the Korean Future Main Battle Tank is requiring the high penetration performance compared with that of KlAl tank ammunition(K276), CCC was designed to have higher impetus composition than that of K276 composition(525J/g). The optimum impetus was 600J/g when considering the increases of pressure and muzzle velocity with increasing impetus. When impetus of CCC by changing the composition increased from 525J/g to 600J/g, the muzzle velocity of 12m/s at pressure increase of 3500psi increased in case of using SCDB propellant.

155mm 곡사포 저호 장약용 추진제로 복기조성을 선정하여 단공원통형 그레인으로 형상 설계하였다. 설계 된 추진제를 155mm 곡사포 저호 모듈 장약에 적용하여 발사 시험한 결과는 저온(-54℃)에서 고온(63℃)까지 부의 차압은 허용치를 만족하였으며 발사 후 약실내에 미연소 잔유물이 없었다. The propellant of bottom charge module for 155mm howitzer was designed as a single-holed cylindrical grain with double-based composition. When the propellant was applied to the bottom charge for 155mm howitzer, the gun fired results showed that the negative differential pressure was satisfied to the range of limitation and there was no residue in the chamber after firing from low(-54℃) to high(63℃) temperature.

석유화학 공정 중 Styrene(SM) 공정에서 발생되는 산화철 폐촉매는 산업 폐기물로서 전량 매립되고 있는데, 이를 출발 원료로 사용하여 NiZn-페라이트를 합성하였고 그 자기적 특성을 조사하였다. 산화철 폐축매 펠렛을 분쇄한 후 NiO 및 ZnO를 혼합하여 90$0^{\circ}C$에서 하소하고 123$0^{\circ}C$에서 5시간 소결하여 스핀넬형 페라이트 소결체를 얻었다. N $i_{x}$ Z $n_{1-x}$F $e_2$ $O_4$(x=0.36, 0.50, 0.66)조성에 대하여 초투자율을 측정하였고, S-parameter를 측정하여 반사 감쇄량을 계산하였다. 산화철 폐촉매를 이용하여 X-band 주파수 영역에서 높은 전자파 흡수능을 갖는 전파흡수체를 제조할 수 있음을 확인하였다.다. NiZn-ferrite was synthesized from waste catalysts, which were produced from styrene monomer process and buried underground as an industrial wastes, and its magnetic properties were investigated. Nickel oxide and zinc oxide powders were mixed with finely ground waste catalysts, and spinel type ferrite was obtained by calcination at 900$\^{C}$ and sintering at 1230$\^{C}$ for 5 hours. The intial permeability was measured and reflection loss was calculated from S-parameters for the composition of Ni$\_$x/Zn$\_$1-x/Fe$_2$O$_4$(x=0.36, 0.50, 0.66). NiZn-ferrite synthesized from waste iron oxide catalyst showed a feasibility for the use as electromagnetic wave absorber in X-band.
사춘기에 말기 신질환으로 조기 진행한 소아 제1형 당뇨병성 신병증 1례

Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) commonly occurs in childhood and adolescence and diabetic nephropathy is a serious metabolic complication of T1DM that leads to serious morbidity. With poor glycemic control prepubertal diabetes duration contributes to the risk of long-term microvascular complications, however, the younger age at onset or longer prepubertal diabetes duration seems to prolong the time to development of microalbuminuria or later end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Therefore, there have been a few cases of diabetic nephropathy in prepubertal patients and therefore the ESRD cases developed during adolescence in T1DM children were very rare. Here we report an adolescent with T1DM who had poor glycemic control and was diagnosed as diabetic nephropathy in a prepubertal period and leading to end-stage renal disease during adolescence. 소아청소년기의 당뇨병은 대부분 제1형 당뇨병으로, 이 때 발생하는 혈관합병증으로서 당뇨병성 신병증은 소아에서 흔하지 않지만 신부전까지 초래할 수 있는 심각한 합병증이다. 혈당조절이 불량하고 사춘기나 그 이후에 당뇨병이 발생하는 경우에 혈관합병증의 발생이 증가하므로 소아청소년기의 당뇨병이 청소년기에 당뇨병성 신병증으로 발현하는 경우는 드물고, 더욱이 말기 신질환으로 진행하는 경우는 매우 드물다. 저자들은 혈당 조절이 불량했던 제 1형 당뇨병 소아 환자에서 혈뇨와 단백뇨가 관찰되어 조직 검사를 통해 사춘기 전에 발생한 당뇨병성 신병증을 확인하고 사춘기에 말기 신질환으로 진행한 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
